Choose another shop. This dude charges $200.. plus cert.. but doesn't bother telling you that until after the smog is done. Highest price around garaunteed. His excuse for charging $200 is "you signed a work order." No price signage anywhere to be seen. $200 was a shocking surprise to me. I suggest it's pretty dishonest, seemings though the price was never discussed, and not displayed anywhere. wonder if the California BAR knows about his made up prices. I own a 91 Chevy Dually single cab pulled up everything was coo till he started doing the smog. This DUDE was revving the shit out of my truck! I get it, your supposed to rev it at 2.5 rpm's steady for 1 min to "pass smog" but dude did it 3 times & than my radiator started leaking on his floor. he didn't even notice any fluid tilll wayyyyy after.I had just drivin back 3 hours from up north no problem! just had bought this truck from a guy who kept it clean in his garage. all I needed was a smog or him to say hey man its not passing smog there's a small fee for my time & I would of understood. his words "your smog failed pay me 200$" I was like really bro 200$ for what ? to tell me cats are clogged and you just broke my radiator bullshit! I felt bad his family was waiting for him to get off of work and I was the last client. but aint no where do you get charged 200$ for a failed smog test. if you can just go some where else just save your time, money and def save your car. read more

This is my Smog testing place. I have been coming here for as long as I can remember. You can find a coupon in the local Grapevine which is now called "Your Town" for $30 off. That is a fat bargain. Not only are they affordable, they can get you in and out in about 20 minutes. This year I felt the urge to review them. Of course I waited until the last minute to get tested as my Check Engine light was on and confirmed to be a dead catalytic converter. Being I had just under 2 years to worry about it after that dreaded check engine light, I put it off. Didn't think I'd keep my car and was planning on buying a new one. I digress, for reasons not important, I decided I need to get this done. I found my "Your Town" monthly advertising whatever it's called, and found the page where they ALWAYS have a coupon. I bring it with me after having Cat changed out but forgot to show them the coupon. I realized once I I got home and immediately called. Thinking they'd say yeah bro, too late. Oh NO! They said they didn't have any cash there today but to come tomorrow and they'd throw me a $30 spot. SWEET!!! I am forever a customer of this fine establishment for honoring the coupon even though my ADD arse forgot to show them. Seriously? I had the damn thing in my hand! Ugh the struggle is real. Such an amazing experience. I pulled up and Antoine was there to greet me and told me to pull my car right in (no wait). He told my husband and I to head into the waiting area and that the process would take about 10 minutes. The waiting area is comfortable and there's a huge window to look into the bay (where my car was). He was right, it was no more than 10 minutes, we took care of payment (which included a $10 discount we found on Yelp) and after a brief personal conversation we were on our way.
