The Smoked Hog Pop-Up at Prolific Brewing Co.: BBQ & Brews Done Right! Hit up The Smoked Hog pop-up at Prolific Brewing Company in Temecula, and it's a BBQ lover's paradise! Their brisket plate is unreal--juicy, slow-smoked brisket with a peppery rub, drizzled with tangy house-made BBQ sauce, and paired with creamy coleslaw. Pure smoky perfection in every bite! The staff are super friendly and they recommended a killer IPA that took my meal to the next level. Totally chill vibe where the whole family is welcome.

Ona date We were unsure about what to eat since we had already had our mind set in stone for sandwiches nearby, but the tempting aromas drew us in. We decided on a pull bbq chicken sandwich, a bbq pulled pork sandwich, side of collard greens side mac and cheese, and side brisket fries. The collard greens lacked a flavorful punch, and the stovetop mac and cheese was watery and not baked. The brisket fries were excellent, but my pulled chicken could have used more sauce, even though it was very tender. As for the pulled pork sandwich, it was reported to be very tasty. Overall, while the experience had its highlights, I won't be back.

Well I always have to try bbq when in available. Sorry but this was not up to my liking. Got the hot link sausage "loaded". With mustard sauce and slaw. Big mistake. Get it plain. The sausage was well smoked and jalapeño flavored. Just over done. The greens were bland and oily. The chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce was very dry. The Mac n cheese was not baked but boiled noodles and the kids loved it. Prob the best thing we had. Thats too bad because I really wanted to like this place. Just my opinion and everyone has different tastes so take it with a grain of salt.

Order was taken right away. Cashier was very friendly and attentive. Great tasting pulled chicken and pork sandwiches. As well as the brisket fries. The collard greens were very disappointing. They needed more flavor and so did the mac & cheese. Mac & cheese looked like a cheese sauce was just poured over the pasta and mixed. Order is taken at the counter and you pick up your order when you are notified. No ketchup was made available for fries, sadly. Canned sodas, beer and glass beverages available for purchase. Very loud indoors... Waited for about 15 minutes for our food. Outdoor seating available. Also a variety of music playing outside. First time eating here and not sure if I would come back here.

The food here is really good. The brisket melts in your mouth. The pulled pork is really good. The ribs are tender. The chicken is good for bbq but I don't usually eat chicken at bbq. The collard greens are yummy. So is the Mac and cheese. The potato salad is ok. The fries are good too, especially with the cheese sauce. Oh ya the cubano sandwich is pretty amazing too. The staff is kind and friendly as well. Would recommend.

The owner is very friendly and easy to like. The customer service is wonderful and the wait time is minimal. The ambiance is fantastic as it reminds me of a southern blues and bbq joint (without the live music and the Smokey air). As far a as the food goes, for my first time I tried the brisket burger, cornbread with hot butter, and the collards. The cornbread was soft and fluffy, sweet and savory, but the hot melted butter made it that much better. The collards were absolutely perfect! The right combination of Smokey, fatty, and earthy. The brisket burger left a bit to be desired. I sampled the brisket before ordering and it was perfect! The brisket burger lacked flavor,l and was a bit greasy. The melted cheese was a bit much as it over powered the burger. The bun was perfectly toasted.

Nice location and nice shopping center around if you want to look around with shops, coffee and other goodies. Nice little place to walk around. This place is located inside with 4 more food vendors to choose from which is great, seating is spacious and they have a great bar selection as well in the corner of the building. The food was incredible the brisket is a must and the Mac and cheese def. This place will not disappoint. Def going back to try the other venues as well.

All was excellent. I'm from the South so this BBQ was pretty good. Quality was good with the BBQ, just could use more sauce. Mac and cheese was mid, the fries were excellent, but the corn bread was the real winner here. Def a must try! Will def come back!

The ribs were bangin! Def pricey for 1/3 lb and being a food court though. But I'll give it 4 stars because it was actually quite delicious.

So the first thing that bothered me is there is a lot of people waiting outside so it's loud and when they call you to be seated they aren't loud enough so we missed our call after waiting a bit i checked in to find out! 2nd thing Food was not very warm felt like it was sitting a bit so some of our food was room temperature. Food tasted ok. But Portions and cuts were good. Then we went to eat at 630 which is peak dinner time they were already out of baked potatoes and pastrami and some other item. Their mashed potatoes tasted gritty like if they where box mashed potatoes which makes sense with them being out of potatoes. 3rd thing which is their "New Policy" That groups of 6 or more it has to be paid on one card and can Not be split in multiple payments not even split cash and card! So that to me makes absolutely no sense and there are no signs stating this anywhere nor on their site. So overall this place is ok and not really worth what we paid. Definitely won't be back and wouldn't recommend this place to friends.

And I have to admit 10 years later that is still the case. I went to a new location closer to LA this time in Temecula so I was a little bit weary.
