The Beef Brisket is Amazing ! Very tender, juicy and flavorful. Their baked beans are a Must to accompany the brisket. Make sure to finish your meal off with some Mississippi Mud . Still a no nonsense place with some of the best BBQ in the area. Ribs and wings are spot on as is the potato salad and slaw. Nice bar with TV's tuned to sports and daily happy hour. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. The place is clean and well lit. I'll be a regular soon. read more

What drew us what the look of the restaurant, the curb appeal and then the smell of smoke. We knew it had to be something good going on inside. My husband cooks BBQ on a regular, so he knows good smoke. Walked in and we were greeted well, so service was great from the start. The food was excellent!! Everything we got was delicious! Only dinged because an item was lukewarm , but that was taken care of very quickly. This will be a new stop for us every time we come back to Myrtle. read more

I have now eaten at Moe's twice, once dining in and once using the drive-through. The results were almost identical. First the employess were all nice, but didn't really operate with a sense of urgency. The inside of the build is pretty ordinary and the day I happened to dine inside, the AC was out and it was rather warm. The food was really good both times. The pulled pork was smoked really well, the portions were really generous, and the sides were excellent. The not so good aspect of the visit, was the service, meaning the amount of time it took to get my food - horribly slow. My first visit was shortly after they opened and I attributed the delays (20 minute wait) to just that, newness. But now, a few months later, the same issue. I went through the drive through yesterday and it took more than 10 minutes to get one sandwich with no sides. I made the order as easy to execute as I possibly could. I would eat there at least once a week if they could do better with service, however, I'm not willing to give away that kind of time just for a sandwich. Everyone deserves second chances right! Made my way back to Moe's Myrtle Beach location. Ordered the lunch deal which consists of a Pulled Pork Sandwich, one Side (I had the vinegar based coleslaw which I prefer over mayo based) and a drink for $10! (My second choice was collard greens which they do well but opted for the coleslaw. The Pulled Pork sandwich was plentiful and the bun was nicely grilled. Coleslaw was tasty with the right amount of tang for a vinegar base slaw and chose ice tea for my drink (unsweetened mostly then top off with a shot of sweetened. Left there full and content. This is a fast casual chain that focuses on Alabama style BBQ. This location seems to have a fairly unused bar-focus...I've been by dozens of times and never seem more than a coupe of cars there at a time. When I've gone in, service was tolerable. Low-key to an extreme is probably the most apt description. Order at the counter and staff bring your food out to your table for eat in. Food was ok and didn't taste mass-produced; although I will say they certainly do seem to integrate vinegar / sour flavors into just about everything. The street corn tasted like a vinegar or pickling liquid was a major ingredient, so example, which was new to me. Hushpuppies were better than expected; cornbread had griddle marks, but definitely needed some / more butter for flavor. Mac and cheese was better reheated the next day, but the breading on the fried proteins was well seasoned, crunchy, and well prepared. Tartar sauce was eggy and bright. Portions were small, and in two cases so small I couldn't actually tell what things tasted like. After looking at the menu online, I discovered that the three 2 or 3 inch strips of cabbage and two nearly translucent strips of green pepper were supposed to be a (presumably) sauced coleslaw. There was a small dribble of their 'famous' Alabama white sauce, so little that I have no idea what their version tastes like. Anyway - it wasn't necessarily standout, but it was ready quickly and reasonably fresh and adequately prepared. read more

Nice looking restaurant. We had 1/2 chicken and Ribs platters. Great beans, very good coleslaw, bland mac and cheese, so much for sides. The chicken was good, the ribs very meaty and moist the bbq sauce was ok. In all the food was nothing special, it was good but kind of blah. Went for an early dinner tonight and loved eating at Moe's! Such a cute restaurant with brand new everything. I had shrimp tacos with mac and cheese. This place is fire! The pulled pork it so moist and perfectly cooked. The ribs are so meaty and the cornbread it the bomb with a hint of jalapeños. Also, fries aren't on the menu but they have them. It's a secret so you got to ask for them. Also, the staff is super friendly. We will definitely be going back when we are in town. read more

Came back after a 2 star review. Happy to say everything was great. Fried catfish was thick and fried to perfection. Hushpuppies are the best. The bake beans are on sweet side just the way I like them. Slaw is vinegar based and really good. I enjoyed the Mac and cheese which was not too cheesy. We got shorted on the corn bread but the portions were so generous, probably had no room for it anyway. We got our food fast and hot. The building is new and very nice. We'll be back for sure. My husband and I greatly enjoyed our first visit to Moe's. He had the BBQ platter with double collards (ate and enjoyed it all) and I had the BBQ sandwich with Lima beans & collards as well. I could only finish half the sandwich but did enjoy as leftovers later that night. We enjoyed our lunch in the covered garage area which provided a nice ambiance for our break. This building has been several different dining establishments over the past few years but this one is the best! We ate at Moe's Original BBQ for an early dinner and were extremely pleased. We ordered at the counter and the food was delivered to our table quickly. We had ribs, pulled pork, slaw, mac and cheese, collards, and squash casserole. Everything was delicious! The only thing we didn't enjoy was the cornbread - very dry and flavorless (but we weren't there for the cornbread). The dining area was clean and the staff was friendly. My wife and I just got the chance to eat a Moe's and we loved it. I had the pulled pork with potato salad and Mac and cheese and my wife had the shrimp with potato salad and banana pudding. Both meals were fantastic. The service was good and the ambiance was very nice. Cannot wait to enjoy the outdoor space. It was raining today. Coming from Texas, we're used to good bbq, however, Moe's was disappointing! Everything was way too sweet and basically heated up and pre-made. Surprised they didn't even have potato salad as they were out! Much rather go to a real bbq place that cooks their meat on the premises. read more

We love Moe's and are so happy to see that they're in Myrtle Beach now. The menu is the same as in Asheville, so we had our usual, the blackened Mahi. I get mine with Mac and cheese and the marinated slaw while my husband likes whatever greens they're serving and the slaw. I'm not a cornbread person, but I'll eat Moe's cornbread.
