I dropped my dog off today for a trial day at daycare, and she had an AWESOME time! I watched her a good portion of the day via their online cameras, and she had tons of fun! The staff was attentive, watching the dogs to make sure everything was safe. Easy check in/check out/payment process, and overall we had a great experience and my pup is exhausted which is exactly what I wanted. Stopped going here after one month of daycare. One of my dogs started getting sick all the time and then got a bad upper respiratory infection. My other dog refused to go in the place (he wouldn't get in the car to go, wouldn't get out once there, and wouldn't want to leave me once inside): and when he was there I got some of the most depressing pictures of him at daycare. He would just nap and not socialize which is not normal. They even said the most excitement they saw from him was when it was time to go home. There is a lack of proper ventilation and outdoor play and potty areas for dogs which is important to have happy and health dogs. We refuse to bring our dogs here and even left the remaining days of our package unused. read more

I picked Sniff Shack over other Dog Daycare options mainly due to its proximity to my home near Sloan Lake. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff is what has kept me as a recurring customer. I love the ability to watch my dog over the live Nest cameras and see how he is getting along with the other dogs. I was appreciative of The Sniff Shack's initial complimentary first visit while they allowed my King Charles Spaniel puppy (5 months) to get familiarized and comfortable in the new space. After our first visit, they offered 20% off a 5-pack of full day daycare for about ~$130. The only reason I am not giving a perfect 5/5 star reviews is because I wish this facility had more outdoor space for the dogs with grass and/or turf. There is a tiny fenced in area that opens to the outside but, from what I can see in the nest cameras, this doesn't have any grass/turf and doesn't allow the pups much space to run around. It ended up costing us $4.5K in medical bills after our dog came down with pneumonia that she had caught after a weekend of boarding there. Then, when I called to tell them they need to make sure to sterilize their space and do something about this so that other dogs don't have to go through what our dog went through (3 days and 2 nights in the hospital!), they did *nothing* to assure me they were taking action in making sure the space was sterilized. Kennel cough and other symptom-obvious dog illnesses are serious and its their job to monitor if other dogs are showing signs and to quarantine if need be... **Update (since you can't delete these) - the owner did call us back very apologetically and explained their cleaning processes a bit better as well as reimbursed us, which I appreciate, but I'll never be able to take our dog back here unfortunately. read more

I have been thoroughly impressed with the staff at the Sniff Shack and their treatment of my dog Rocky! He absolutely loved it there and slept for the entire evening and morning after his day of adventure. Excellent location, easy drop off and pick up and a staff that communicates and sends report cards of how your dog does for the day. Also, they have WebCams so you can actually see your dog in action and all the joy he is having while playing with all his new friends. I highly recommend! read more

This place is a nightmare. Dogs are kept in a concrete room ALL day. They do not get taken for potty walks- they are expected to defecate right there on the concrete in the same room as they are kept. I would never leave my dog here read more

I took my dog there and watched the live webcam. The associate sat in a room and did not give attention to the dogs. My dog was in a windowless room for hours with around 14 dogs. I was called by staff saying my dog has been "very aggressive" towards the staff. My dog has been to multiple boarding places, dog parks etc. and has never been aggressive. I asked her when then she lied to me saying it was when he was taken out of the room. I was nervous about taking my dog to this place and watched the webcam because I was told they would be taking him out of the room. That never happened. Very disappointed with how the staff does nothing and then lies. read more

I don't know who loves Sniff Shack more, us or our doggo. Sniff Shack is AMAZING. We're first-time dog owners and Sniff Shack has been incredibly responsive, supportive, and helpful. Crosby has the best time when he's at Sniff Shack - he's all wags and wiggles. The team always greets Cros with such enthusiasm. I love being able to watch him on the cameras throughout the day. Sometimes I'll see the staff sitting on the floor with the dogs giving them love and affection. This level of openness and transparency really helps to establish trust. Sniff Shack has great policies and procedures for managing dog's social styles and differences which gives us a ton of comfort. I love that they do a temperament check w/ dogs before inviting them in for daycare. We've also used Sniff Shack for boarding services. All around 10/10! read more

The staff here is so great- very responsive and attentive. They have such an awesome system in place as far as applying and a test day to the regular drop-off/pick-up of daycare. Convenient location for me personally for day care. I didn't care for their spa-club policy. I signed up for monthly baths for $40. I had a hard time scheduling baths because they are understaffed and they don't answer phone calls. I was not able to book a bath for 2 months and they would not honor my $80 credits worth of baths. I spoke to the manager and she basically scolded ME- said I need to book months ahead and that is was my fault/responsibility. She said they treat their policy like a gym membership. I did not realize that I was paying for a "membership" when I signed up, I thought I was paying for a monthly service. The service was not honored for one month and they offered no refund nor service for this charge. I asked to be removed from their "spa club" subscription. Without subscription a bath is $60 for a large dog. I figure I rather pay per service versus get ripped off by the subscription in setting of poor customer service and understaffed phones. I am disappointed by this establishment and how they handled my situation. I live a few blocks away and was planning on using them for years to come. Luckily for me there is a Petsmart accross the street and they only charge $40 for baths, WITHOUT a subscription. read more

My dog loves this place! Daycare is a great option if you have a high energy dog - a full day is only $35 for up to 12 hours straight of play time so they are tired out the whole next day. Tried to schedule my dog today for a bath and they said his bordetella was good until today 2/27/18. However, they would not allow me to get my dog groomed unless I updated his bordetella. Will never come back again Update: the owner (Jennifer) called and apologized for not being able to override their system to check in my dog for a bath. If I had brought my dog in tomorrow, I would completely understand that the vaccine is expired. We love The Sniff Shack for both boarding and daycare. We boarded our Yorkie, Dexter, over the holidays last December while we were out of town. It was comforting to know that we could see him in the playroom through the webcams and know that he was being taken care of. Regarding daycare, we take our Australian cattle dog, Asher, to The Sniff Snack 2-3 times a week; so he can get some exercise and socialization. Each day we get a new picture of him along with a report card, so we know how his day went. The staff is so courteous and receptive to our feedback. Shouts out to Edgar and Alyssa for taking such great care of Asher! We log in at the front desk with our phone number to get points for different rewards (e.g., free nail trim, bath, etc.). I am really happy with my experience so far as Sniff Shack. Our dog is a small rescue and I wasn't sure how he would do at daycare. I love that the trial day is free to see if they are a good fit. The registration process was painless and online, super easy. I emailed the vaccine records in. Drop off was quick. Pick up was just as fast. I liked being able to 'check in' with Omega on the cameras. The staff was knowledgeable and accommodating. Their hours are very flexible. He was so tired when he got home that he didn't even want his evening walk which NEVER happens. I feel 100% confident that he will love being boarded here over the weekends when we travel. read more

Today was my pups first day at the Sniff Shack. Their website is very organized and asks all the questions I'd hope they would want to know about my pup. They have minimal contact organized as well with easy drop off and pick up because of COVID-19. I checked in on him frequently through the cameras online, which were easy to access with one simple click. He'll be back for more play in the near future. :) He even came home with a report card and goodie bag which I've never received before. He is a picky eater and I imagine would have a tough time eating there. I wish they had included how well he ate in his report card. She told me he ate more than half, but he might have pulled a trick on me because he begged to eat again when we got home. read more

The staff and facility are nice. Trial day was pushed out 3+ weeks. After passing the trial day, I wish I would have known about the 24 hour reservation requirement. The website and agreements did not mention anything about it, so I was caught off guard when I received a text message stating reservation requirements. Luckily they made an exception that day so I wouldn't be late for work. I don't know if I'll move our full time daycare to this business, simply because of the reservation requirement. Being an on call nurse I can't make reservations every time. Also, it's rather expensive and they don't offer military, first responders/medical discounts. It's a shame because it's only a couple blocks from our house. read more
