The drinks were very tasty and great renditions of their alcoholic counterparts. We found the prices to be expensive considering the drinks are non alcoholic. Service was also a bit slow. My friend and I decided to meet here to talk and get caught up. Since I'm not drinking for the next few months, this was the perfect place. Upon arriving to the location, I was confused on where to park, so I called and spoke with who I later found out was the owner. She was extremely nice, professional, and informed me of where to park. Before coming to this establishment I read the previous reviews and saw someone talk about the person on the line was extremely rude. Yea.... That wasn't my experience at all. Anyways, upon walking in, it gives you a laid back coffee shop kind of vibe. Like a place where you can order a drink and read your book at the same time. Maybe it was the time we went, but the only "noise" was people walking by, as there was an event going on downstairs. When my friend arrived, I already knew what I was going to order, and was encouraged to order another drink. So I decided on the Non-Alcoholic Chardonnay, Social-Livewire, and Social Butterfly. I also ordered a croissant with caramel on the side. Let me telllll you..... EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!! The drinks were perfectly crafted and full of flavor. They weren't watered down or full of juice, but all of the flavors came together and made the most tasteful beverage. I'm one that likes to drink alcohol, but I wasn't even missing the taste of alcohol with these drinks. Overall, my favorite was the Chardonnay and Social Butterfly!! Also, Asha (I hope I'm spelling it right) was amazing as well. She was personable and took her time to explain everything to us. I appreciated her for her service and her dedication to make sure the drinks were perfect and as close to the alcoholic beverages. I really wanted to like The Sober Social, but in all honesty, there was something left to be desired about this establishment. When you arrive, there is parking in a small lot that's behind the building that fills up quickly. To get in you have to be buzzed in, and walk in you go around the corner to the right. I can't say it's truly a bar, it's more like an open space with sitting area and a bar off to the side, surrounded by other suites. The non alcoholic drinks were ok, they had a slight aftertaste and I left with a headache for some reason. Some of the options on the menu they didn't have the day we came which is a bummer when all there is to have is drinks. The service was ok as well there were only 6 of us patrons there and all the staff were sitting at the bar on their phones. I saw this place on social media and with my love/hate relationship with alcohol, I knew I wanted to try this place out although the reviews had me indifferent. The "bar" is located inside a Koncept House with a lot of other businesses and work concepts. I came on a Sunday afternoon so a lot of those other businesses were closed; I didn't mind it cause I really wanted to enjoy my experience with this place. For the seating: there are a few seating chairs at the bar and then there are a few seating areas located along the wall for the sober social patrons. I personally think the seating area is cute and eccentric and accommodating for the space as it is a small bar. To the drinks: I ordered the socially awkward and the social lite. Both were amazing flavors so s/o to the queen of mixology behind the bar. I sampled a sip of the other drinks at my table and I can say, I enjoyed them all. I will most definitely be back to enjoy a night cap or an afternoon with friends. If you decide to go, just plan accordingly. It's not a big space so large crowds may be a little cramped. I hate to write a poor review about a black owned business, especially during black history month.... But social media over hyped this one unfortunately. This "bar" is inside of a coworking/shared suite space. Like literally you'll be in there watching someone get their hair cut. There's barely any seats and a lot of things were out of stock. As someone who doesn't drink I was excited at the idea of a mocktail bar, but honestly their drinks are the same price -- if not more expensive -- as alcoholic cocktails at other places. I've gotten equally good mocktails at other bars/restaurants in a more intimate and personalized setting. No one greeted when you walk in. It's not table service. You have to go up to the bar to order, which is difficult when the few seats at the bar are full. It was an awkward and uncomfortable setting. It doesn't replicate the vibe of a traditional bar which is what was advertised. We ended up getting two cups of coffee and a muffin which came out to $30, TOOK 30 MINS AND WASNT EVENT HOT :( I really really really wanted to like this place but Definitely won't be returning. read more

This bar was truly unique. It sits outside of what looks like a bunch of influencer suites. The area was esthetically pleasing. I went on a Sunday and the vibe was very lowkey. The drinks I tried were good but very sweet for my loking. The service was ok since we had to go grab the staff when we were ready to order and just see them sitting at the bar on their phones just made me think they weren't attentive to their customers needs. The Sober Social is a non-alcoholic bar. Parking: there are multiple lots surrounds this dry bar, that are for free. When you walk inside you'll notice it's located inside Koncept House where this place shares space with multiple boutiques and various studios. Seating: it's very casual. There are 5-6 spots at the bar, Some high tops, some normal seating and a large couch. It's Uber casual but very eclectic. While we could not try anything off their food menu, due to it being their grand opening, instead they had a fruit and cheese board for us to snack on. My group tried all sorts of mocktails. The best were the loner and the socialite. What I liked about their mocktails was that it wasn't basic. It was so bizarre because the taste has such a distinctive taste (in q really good way) that I had to question it there was any alcohol in it! Basic mocktails I've tried in most restaurants don't have this type of taste. For that reason I highly recommend this place. The one thing I don't recommend is the latte. Maybe I'm a coffee snob, so I would want the coffee to be a little better in taste and quality. Otherwise it's a great concept and I love it! read more

it is HARD to find tasty nonalcoholic cocktails. luckily, that's not the case at The Sober Social. to celebrate another year of sobriety (woohoo!) we ordered the "social experience," a flight of delicious drinks. the range was great -- from a take on espresso martini to their spicy jalapeño margaritaesque drink -- all tasty as heck. the service? amazing. the two ladies who were working when we went were attentive and helpful, making us very comfy and beyond pleased with the experience. the space is well curated (who doesn't love a velvet couch?) and the vibes are on point. we're already looking forward to our next visit, and y'all should definitely check this gem out. thanks, Sober Social! read more

If you're expecting to pay less for drinks because there's no alcohol in it, then this is not the place for you. The drinks here are the price of regular cocktails at a bar. But just because they're nonalcoholic doesn't mean that they're just a mix of juices. The mocktails are well crafted, and made with quality ingredients. I order the espresso martini there and it was fine. I just would've like for the espresso taste to be a little strong but the bartender told me that most people say that it has too much of an espresso taste. But I guess I'm a pretty big fan of black coffee and espressos, so to each their own. For pricing aspect my drink was about $13 and so was my friend's and we also slit a double ginger shot that was $10. The night we went the vibe was really chill.
