I ordered the chicken tenders and the person with me ordered the brie platter. Both were amazing. My chicken tenders were some of the best I've ever had. I don't know what they used in the breading, but it was excellent. I tried a tasting of the sweet wines and love the blackberry wine and the peach Chardonnay. They also have outdoor seating. We did sit inside, if you're up in that area definitely go check it out.

Both the wine and the chocolates were very nice. We wound up buying a bottle of the Tuscan reserve to take home with some of the chocolates we couldn't finish. After a rest we came back for dinner at the Granary Bourbon bar. We were warmly welcomed. We liked the casual vibe and surprisingly it was not too loud. We started with a flight of old fashioned cocktails. We tried vanilla bean, honeycomb, and our favorite the cinnamon appke. For dinner we both had the Friday perch fry. The perch itself was very good with a nice panko coating. The fries were good too but they could have been warmer. Our server was very attentive and friendly. They were definitely on the game. Can't wait to return!

We ordered the baked potato soup. It was different than any baked potato soup we've had before, but it was still very good, just way too salty. For the entree, we got the Chicken Alfredo and the Pasta Milano with chicken. They were both good, but like others have said, not worthy of the big price tag. The Chicken Alfredo noodles were over cooked so they were on the softer side (versus al dente) and it was lacking salt. The chicken on it also had plenty of seasoning (which I typically enjoy) but it was like a sweet Mediterranean type chicken, which felt like an odd pairing for the alfredo. The Pasta Milano was very good, and the sun dried tomatoes in there were delicious. The staff and ambience were great! Our host was super kind and respectful and offered us dessert since we were celebrating our anniversary. We went on a Saturday in April, so not peak season yet, which helped with the busyness and noise level. Overall, great experience but would not go again.

I tried the firecracker shrimp (amazing breading), the Italian meatballs (swimming in wonderfully tomatoey sauce), and another appetizer that I didn't catch the name of but I devoured anyway. Everything I ate was excellent. The appetizers were all nicely presented, too, so everything looked as delicious as it tasted. Dinner was lobster bisque with a puffed pastry on top (deliciously briny and comforting), a Caesar salad and Alaskan halibut. The fish was flaky and perfectly cooked -- it literally felt like it melted in my mouth. It was served in a tomato relish. The service here is top-notch! Water was refilled promptly, and the servers were very friendly. The dining room lighting is soft and mellow. My dinner experience was great, and I'd definitely visit Concourse again when I'm in the Elkhart Lake area.

The floor to ceiling windows would provide a great view of the lake and on a return visit, I would come in earlier. Unfortunately I missed the view as I came in for a nightcap. Thankfully the space was decorated for the Halloween holiday and very festive. There is a nice variety of wine and cocktails on the menu. There is also some small bites available for purchase ie cheese and crackers. The cocktail menu is curated by an external consultant and changes seasonally but creative nonetheless. This meant I couldn't ask as many questions about how the cocktails were conceived or what they were planning for the upcoming season. There were definitely some that were combinations that I've not seen before! The staff were kind and engaging. I genuinely appreciated the company and conversation as a solo drinker.

Updating my review to rave about our recent service…read more Joined by my bestie and her husband who drove all the way from Denver to see us, my partner and I returned to The Blind Horse for a birthday dinner. My bestie is SEVERELY allergic to poultry and her husband was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease which means gluten is no good (even "cross contamination"). This makes finding a restaurant that can accommodate their needs a huge challenge. Our server went out of her way to talk to the chef and check things out. They were able to accommodate these specific diets and still beautifully create their entrees. It has been horrible to adjust life with Celiac, so when the food came out, I really thought there might be some tears of joy. ;) This gave us more reasons to come back! Thank you!

We saw there were little signs by the doors that tell you what building is what. Once inside, we were seated immediately. Our waitress got us drinks within a minute of sitting down. I think her name was Ella or Ellie- she was very good. Knew when to come over and when to not come over. I ordered the lobster cargot for an appetizer - it didn't have much taste so I would pass on this in the future. The corn chowder was amazing !!!! Very flavorful. My lobster ravioli had a very nice portion size and lots of extra lobster. Our bill for 2 people who each had two alcoholic beverages was $150 with the tip. Cute date night spot. The reason for the 4 star was the blackened snapper paella wasn't good. The fish was burnt not blackened. My friend took the bottom off because of how burnt it was.

I remember the first time we stayed there my son meandered down to the beach to splash around when he was a tiny little thing and it was so tranquil. I knew immediately that this was a place we'd return to again and again. It's just one of those places that feels like you're going back in time to a simpler place. The area around the property is vibrant and alive. Everyone seems happier just being there. Elkhart Lake is such a picturesque little town. Everyone at the resort gets up and takes a morning walk to the shops, the farmer's market, the park, the library, or to get some coffee and breakfast. Part of the charm is you really don't need a car while you're there. Everything is walkable from the resort features themselves to additional dining to a great ice cream spot. The lake is gorgeous and pristine in its beauty. Enjoy time at the beach, the complimentary kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats, or rent a boat in the nearby marina. If you're not a lake person they have a nice pool and, of course, everyone loves a hot tub! Often times there are events in Elkhart Lake on the square around Siebkens or on the property itself. Siebkens is steeped in a rich history of auto racing and is frequented by people in IndyCar and other motorsports including those at the nearby Road America raceway. You can see a lot of pictures and information about racing history at the resort. The food is phenomenal. If you're a grilled cheese connoisseur, and who isn't, then you're going to love Siebkens - but honestly, everything hits. The cheese curds are classic Wisconsin, the baked brie is next-level, and the short rib ragu is the kind of dish you end up thinking about later. Siebkens has a formal dining restaurant in PAM's and a bar with food at the Stop-Inn. PAM's is perfect for a nice, long meal with great food and wine or cocktails. The staff is incredible and really makes it a nice experience. The Stop-Inn is a fantastic bar with darts, pool, and plenty of space to let loose. I've had many a good conversation at that bar. There's always live music on the patio outside the bar and people just having the best time. Bottom line, if your family wants to get away, go to Siebkens. You won't want to leave!
