The owner/operator is there serving hot made to order dogs. He is closed Wednesday and Sunday (makes sense as his booth is in the parking lot of a church). It appeared to be a popular local spot, we were the only tourists, and listened to the local chatter. We both ordered the Portuguese dog, which is large, with cheese. He fries it right on the grilled bun. We took ours over to the local park, he wrapped them in foil for us. The dogs were $10 each, and we probably should have shared. She said the cooks had called in and she was the only one there. Talk about dedication! She made sure everyone got their food, and it was made perfectly. I cannot commend her enough for all the work she did and for putting out an outstanding order of food. She is a real gem and should be treated as such! It is so hard to find good employees today, and her dedication and attitude inspired me. I wish we had gotten her name, but she said she is always there.
