Nothing else was mentioned and she flipped the switch to turn it on. She then left, I got undressed, and got onto the bed to wait for my massage. Halfway through the massage, she told me she was going to use cupping on my upper back because it was tight. I said okay. Susan never once mentioned it was an additional cost. Later, as I am up at the front desk checking out, (for the first time) she mentions that the red light on the bed and the cupping were an additional $30 combined. I was very confused, and said "I didn't know that those things were an additional cost." She replied and said "I know, I didn't mention it." Needless to say I was flabbergasted. Then she said "it's hard to talk about money when you're relaxed and on the massage table." (After I left I thought to myself, I wasn't even on the massage table yet when she asked me if I wanted her to turn on the red light feature.) Because of my confusion as I was checking out, she said she'd "do me a favor and discount the additional $30 cost down to $20." I was extremely uncomfortable, felt put on the spot, paid, and left. I couldn't shake the feeling of being taken advantage of, so I emailed her that night, explaining this and how uncomfortable I felt. I asked if she would be willing to refund me the additional cost, and only charge me for what I originally booked: an hour long Swedish massage. She ignored my email and the follow up email I sent 3 days later. I didn't ask her to do these additional things, she offered them up without disclosing the cost. And at no point during the online booking process were these things disclosed. You're given the option to add on the sauna or NSDR, both of which I declined. Such an awful feeling to have information kept from you throughout the entire process and then sprung on you last minute. I just hope this review can help prevent this from happening to someone else in the future.

She makes the best cheese plates in the afternoons for happy hour and the BEST omelettes for breakfast. By the way, breakfast and happy hour is included with your stay. Everything is made to order and the spreads are always incredible. One of the best perks about the Inn! It's romantic and relaxing all rolled into one vacation. The customer service from each lady at the Inn is outstanding. They truly care about your vacation and constantly check in to make sure you're more than happy with your stay. Heather even made hot tea for my husband one day and brought it out to him by the pool. So kind. Our air conditioner had an issue one night and we were promptly given a key to another room where we could sleep for the night. Heather had maintenance out the next morning and the issue was taken care of quickly. We have stayed in the Flamingo room and the Serenity room all times we've been here. These are the only two rooms located in the spa building and the heated mineral pool is right outside their doors. I don't normally get facials since I have a regular skin care regimen that I follow thanks to my primary care physician and dermatologist, but I do go for facials once a year and twice if I feel like I need extra care or just to pamper myself. So far the times I have gone I get the one that is tailored for my skin (lotus signature facial for 60 min) I am able to mention problems I currently have and Leah gives great recommendations. I don't trust anyone else with my skin. She is so knowledgeable and always able to recommend creams and face care products according to my concerns. Before she applies anything she explains what it's for. The massage in between is always relaxing and I always manage to go to get a nap in. I have not had an issue thus far and always leave refreshed. I cannot speak for massages or any other face procedures since I try not to do much to my skin and just limit to maintaining my skin texture and hydrating it as well as using products that will help me age gracefully and heal acne scars from past outbreaks. I always follow up with dermatologist about once or twice a year as well to track how my skin is doing. I have recommended this place to my mom and bf and they both have received facials courtesy of me since I love to treat them to a nice facial yearly as well.
