What makes this worse was the complete lack of professionalism and honesty during the service: * When I felt the zap and told her she hit my hair, she claimed it was just the spatula used to cover the brow. * I asked for a mirror to see the damage myself. It might not look like a "huge" spot to a stranger, but the shape is compromised and it feels terrible. .The manager came in and was initially incredibly rude, dismissively saying, "I honestly can't make out the difference." To have a professional minimize the damage they caused to a client's face is unacceptable. It took her a while to finally say she's sorry about what happened. Till then it was about how the hair will grow back, we can't do anything now. They offered me two free treatments as compensation, but after the way I was treated and the lack of skill shown. Then she says I'm only booked for 2 areas. It's been since April 2025 since I had a touch up. When I called I told the person on the phone 4 areas. Each area had only a little to treat. My upper lip needed the most treatment & is a small area. She says well I may not have enough time because it's close to my lunch. That's not my problem, your person who booked my appointment should have put in the correct time based on what I told her I needed. I've been a customer for over five years, spending thousands of dollars on full-body laser hair removal, full-body touch-ups, and multiple 3-section packages. Instead of solving my hair growth issues, these treatments have caused an even worse problem. After the first few sessions, I noticed the hair on my face and neck growing thicker, darker, and coarser, while the rest of my body responded fine. Each time I voiced my concerns, I was told it must be a hormonal issue and advised to continue with more treatments. So, I did--spending more money on countless sessions, doctor visits and blood work, only to watch the hair on my face and neck grow back thicker and darker than before. Sure enough, there is nothing medically wrong with me (thank god!!) and I have been misled and lied to by this place. It wasn't until recently that a technician finally admitted the truth: in areas with minimal hair growth, laser hair removal can cause paradoxical hypertrichosis--the exact issue I've been experiencing. But by then, the damage was done. My facial hair is now thick, dark, and patchy, leaving me feeling self-conscious, depressed, and hopeless. After years of treatments that only made the problem worse, I demanded a refund. Instead of taking responsibility for their error, the owner flatly refused. They offered a few "free sessions," but this is completely useless--more treatments cannot fix what has already been done. The follicles have been stimulated, and the damage is irreversible. Not only have I wasted thousands of dollars on these treatments, but now I must spend even more on corrective procedures like electrolysis to try and undo the damage caused by Renova. These additional treatments will likely cost me far more than I've already spent, and I'm left with a significant financial burden. Renova's treatment of my concerns has been disgraceful. They took my money, ignored my repeated complaints, and now I'm left to deal with the consequences. If you're considering laser hair removal here, be warned: they don't prioritize your well-being. Once they have your money, they don't care about the results. Before purchasing any sessions or packages, save yourself the heartbreak and do your research. Even if they tell you about the risks of paradoxical hypertrichosis, ask yourself: Do you want to trust a clinic that treats its customers with this level of disregard? I know of at least four other people who've experienced the same issue at this location--this could easily happen to you or someone you care about. Renova has ruined my appearance, my confidence, and my finances. The owner's (Dr. Naghavi) refusal to issue a refund is further proof that they don't care about their clients. Don't make the same mistake I did. There are plenty of other places that will actually listen to your concerns and deliver safe, effective results. Renova is not one of them.

That of which were considered a downgrade and a less effective treatment than the initial treatments I paid for. You would have done much better continuing to ignore my comment/rating. Because, your response once again reminded me of my naivety believing the services you offered would actually help. With that said I STRONGLY recommend anyone considering getting treatments done at your establishment would do their research and pay the extra money (in my case I would have saved money going elsewhere) to see a professional that can give treatment(s) that will produce better outcomes and/or results!
