I wasn't sure what to expect, and the location was a bit far for me, but this location offers full services beyond a normal nail salon. I only had a gel mani and pedi done, but I'd definitely come back for massages or facials. My mani and pedi were completed by Nan and she was a very sweet nail technician and did a great job. I got a gel manicure and express pedicure during my visit and I was very pleased with my experience. Upon walking in I was immediately offered something to drink (water, coffee, wine, etc). I think I was asked 5 times after the first time if I wanted something to drink. The staff is very nice and accommodating! Britni was my tech and she was attentive and pleasant from the start. This spa is really nice and has a lot of potential. Located in winter park it's very new and modern inside. I really love the atmosphere here and it's nice that they offer wine and other beverages. I came here to get a express manicure and pedicure on the beliefs that it would be apart of their promotion for new clients at $17. So we booked our appointment a month or so prior. However when we went to pay the gentleman at front desk told us that's not what we booked and charged full price. I found this to be really disappointing and misleading because I wouldn't have booked a appointment if he hadn't shared the promotion and i think it would've been professional if he honored the promotion. Because of this I no longer wish to have a membership here. My nails came out very pretty but the experience could've been better. The employees here are incredibly nice but my nail tech seemed tired or lacking of experience. She filed part of my toe skin off when filing my toe nails that were already short. So that was painful. Other than that my pedicure came out nice. I also wish they did a little rubbing on my legs like they do at all other nail salons I've been to. For my nails she did a great job but I was her last client and again it seemed like she was getting tired. I pointed out air bubbles in my gel nails and she asked if i would like her to fix it " uh yes...?" Weird question to ask. I had also asked her prior if she could do a statement nail since I had a special occasion and when I mentioned it again she seemed a little pressed on time so I just said forget it. My appointments were double-booked, scheduled at the wrong time of day, and I frequently received the wrong length of massage I had booked. I submitted notice of my dissatisfaction in early December and communicated in writing my request to cancel. I did not hear from anyone, but I have continued to be billed for the Spa membership for Jan, Feb, and March 2022. I have called each month I have been erroneously billed. I have left numerous messages and have been told a manager would call me back. I understand mistakes and mishaps happen. I am frustrated however, that I am continuing to have money deducted from my bank account. I have requested a refund but no one has responded to my inquiries. We went to the spa many years ago and things were great ownership changed stuff went downhill so we started going someplace else, whenever we moved back to Orlando we decided to give it a try again and see if things have improved they had, after many months of going and being part of their membership program they kept canceling appointments at the last minute, trying to make us pay more for services and purchase additional memberships even though you receive guest privileges with your membership. We canceled our membership even though we were told by staff members and management that we would not be charged they have charged our card again and now refusing to take our calls and remove the charge I will never go back to the spa. Edited review: While the massages were great, their accounting team is not. I bought a $440 package and used it on Monday 10/18. My transaction went through on the 16th and posted on the 18th. On the 20th, another transaction for $440 went through and posted on the 22nd. Note that we did NOT go back. I called for a refund and the lady was very matter-o-fact and an ice queen on the phone. You'd think there would be some sort of apology but it seemed like a bother to her I was calling for a refund. She also mentioned she'd email me my receipt which she did not do. The refund was processed but it is so clear this team does not have their stuff together. Both my husbands and my facial and pedicure were terrible. I left a nice review because I thought the massages were great (is that a coincidence that different people performed the massage services)? The pedicures for both of us were painful (literally scraping and digging under soft tissue under our nails) and my facial she put the steam directly in my nose and mouth while simultaneously scraping my skin with a metal tool to get out imperfections on my face. It was VERY painful and left red marks on my face for the remainder of the day. I think it goes without saying we will not be back. I REPEAT DO NOT GET A MEMEBERSHIP. The woman who did my nails kept sighing and it bothered me a lot because I couldn't relax while I keep hearing her sighing so much. I think either the girl was rushing or lack of experience while doing pedicure, i get my feet done every month and it wasnt the same as my normal nail salon. No nice relaxing music, it was plain quite. The guy who was at the time working at the desk kept pressuring me about joining the member ship when all i wanted to do was relax and couldn't wait until i was done with the spa treatment. The Messaging machine chair was so hard on my back, I've had back pain that lasted two weeks. The Jacuzzi or hot tub was a bad experience and after I showered after the hot tub, the pole that holds up the bathroom curtain fell off and hit my face and my nose was bruisd for few days and the guy didn't do anything about it. The owner & the director refuse to refund me for a total of 5 treatments that they've charged my credit card for after I canceled our memberships. They are rude, literally lie to your face and hang up on you when u call them regarding an issue. Andy pretends to be the receptionist, but he's actually the owner. Imagine the owner of an establishment calling the cops on you because you go there requesting your refund of a mere $230 that they have basically stolen from you. & then calling the police a 2nd time and telling them to hurry because I'm threatening a customer. Mind you, this inebriated customer walked up on me voicing her opinion about something that had absolutely nothing to do with her. And instead of them telling her to mind her business- he used that as ammunition to get the police there faster. Wouldn't it have been simpler to just refund my money? What a pleasant surprise to find this place! You would never think to go in and check out their services when driving by but I am so glad I bought their Groupon online. After my first service, they offered me a membership package that is Ah-mazing. For $35 a month, I get a gel mani with a classic pedi, and then later in the month, they will re-paint my nails if they have chipped. I have never seen such a great deal for such a wonderful service. New management they say!!! Wow the customer service my husband and I received from the Director Bree and the manager Christina this morning was despicable. My husband overslept and missed his appointment, but was told he lost his credit because we are no longer members. We'll let me explain why we are no longer members. 1. Your customer service is a 2. 2. You have lost so many good massage therapist that it is hard to make my schedule work. 3. Your management staff in the past was amazing with customer service, but today was horrible. The only way they would fix this is if we became members again. Are you serious?!?!? Meh. I wouldn't call this place a "Spa" by any means. Spent $200 to walk out and feel like I wasted my money. The place could greatly benefit from some interior work as it feels run down. Not a great first impression. I had two services: an aromatherapy massage and a facial. The massage room felt like a broom closet. You could barely walk around the table because the room was so small. I could actually touch both sides of the wall when I stretched out my arms. There was NO music, which meant my massage was in total silence, other than getting to listen to every single conversation, every laugh, every cough, etc. going on outside the room or in the adjacent rooms. Not relaxing and a huge waste of money. They should be embarrassed to put someone paying $100 for a massage in a room like that. I want your Spa to know the ultimate reason for cancelling. The spa is not inviting or warm. Upon entering you have this big table taking up space and you have to akwardly wait to check in.  Then when waiting for service, you either sit at the akward table or choose 2 other rooms which have uncomfortable chairs, are freezing cold, and have all your self promoting ads on the TV to watch.  When walking around the spa, to get to one place to the other, there are so many people passing by and not enough room and again uncomfortable.  The place is small, and the flow and decor is terrible. Upon my last check out, one girl was busy so I'm waiting which is fine. Another staff member is abruptly taking chairs from the akward table, removing them, then pacing around and opening the office door checking for things. All the mean while I'm there waiting to be helped.  Her pacing around and worrying about her chores around the spa instead of a customer was not professional or relaxing to be around.  Then when she was done she finally helped. No smile, nothing, like she owns the place around doesn't need to smile.  Just not impressed. read more

Let me start this review by saying I don't frequent Day spas or regularly get facials. However, I must say I know how to recognize great customer service and quality for my dollar. I visited The Spa today along with my Mom and sister. Upon entering the extremely clean and neatly decorated facility, I was immediately greeted and asked if I'd like a beverage while I waited for the masseuse. Not long after that, I was escorted to the spa room where tranquil music played and Nancy the masseuse gave me a consultation about specific areas I needed her to focus on. In short, she was amazing. She gave just the right amount of pressure and helped relax many of the knots I acquired during Long days and nights in front of my computer. I almost fell asleep I was so relaxed. Following the massage, I received a facial from La (sorry I forgot the rest of her name). But she was also very skilled at providing the facial which came with a steam treatment, a massage of my scalp, neck, shoulders, arms and a foot massage. I received a mask, exfoliation and she performed extractions to remove potential blackheads or acne from my pores. In summary, whenever I'm back in the Orlando area, I would love to get pampered at The Spa again. It is a very professional atmosphere with all the services I treasure including nail/pedi services. By the way my Mom had a mud wrap, my sister had a massage with hot stones, a mani and a pedi. Make an appointment though I heard it can be very busy on the weekends. read more

I was talking about how I hadn't done me eyebrows in so long and she said, "Oh, I can wax your eyebrows today!" A one start rating is generous for this place. I signed up for the monthly nail membership which includes a one hour signature service with gel polish and one regular polish change. I book my appointments for the signature pedicure with regular polish and then ask for the polish change to be gel on my hands. The manager Amy explained this is not typical but wouldn't be a problem, and said she would put a note in the system for my appointments. Every single appointment since has been an issue with this, but it was remedied. Today I came in for the same exact service, and after getting my pedicure with regular polish, which was the wrong color but I let it go, the manager Matt came over and stated that they would be unable to do the gel polish change on my hands, even though I was booked for an hour and half for 2 services. He said they don't do the gel for polish change and there wouldn't be any time. Mind you the services literally are the exact same product and time just switching from my toes to hands. I let him know I could not leave without them fixing my nails, as the technician had already removed my old polish. He then said he would get someone else to do it. The gel polish change took 20 minutes, which was less than I was even scheduled for! Not once did Matt apologize, Amy refused to come out of the office. The management customer service is atrocious and unprofessional. On more than one occasion when arriving I overhear staff and management cursing. My most sincere advice is do not sign up for this, it's cheap and an awful experience. Update* The owner wrote a cliche response that tells me to refer to the poor quality management team. I have also been charged 2x for the membership since canceling without any help in reimbursement. read more

On my first visit to the spa my nails were Left with gel products not fully removed And just painted over leaving a very rough finish. I showed the manager Mary and a new front desk member they agreed it needed to be fixed but told me I would have to return the next day for the repair. I had to rearrange my day to make that appointment and re - tip the new nail technician she was very pleasant. Two days after returning to the salon my nails were a mess. Before leaving on a trip my nails chipped and peeled and I went back to my old nail place to have my gel nails put back on. The spa front desk said they only do Manicures and use gel polish not a full Gel coating. I returned to the nail shop today and let them know I needed to cancel my membership I was talked into signing up for on my first visit. The new front desk girl told me I can't cancel with out 30 day notice I signed up two weeks ago I asked if there was a solution for a gift certificate etc the front staff girl has zero customer relations to solve issues I asked to speak with a manager she said she was one last week she told me she was new and didn't know how to do items. If the front desk staff would have been more accommodating due to the fact they don't offer the mail service I want I would continue to be a customer of other spa services but it left such a negative vibe with me I will not be returning. What a terrible experience. I received a gift certificate and I have had great experiences minus the last one for a polish change. The person who did my nails did not seem to care and it shows by the work produced. Some of things she said were not work appropriate and then she didn't clean up my nails and they were not even, polish isnt even covering my entire nail and she didn't shape them at all, definitely showed a lack of care which is a shame for this sort of service. I have placed the photos. She was too involved with getting to the next client, and just let me sit there and never came back. I cancelled my nail membership and I do not want to return and will not. The lady at the desk on my way out apologized but offered for me to come back and have it fixed in a few days because they didn't have time that day or whatever the reason was. The equipment & decor could use a bit of an update, but it's always clean and welcoming. I recommend choosing the massage services over the nails, as they are much better. I've had a few massages here and enjoyed them. The staff is always friendly and professional and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I found the nail services to be lacking. Services in the "tranquility room" are uncomfortable and more time-consuming than I'd like - well over an hour in an uncomfortable chair for a gel manicure that didn't include a massage. (It was more like a polish change.) The nail tech even recommended switching up my leg position a couple times and removed a leg rest since "a lot of people don't like these chairs". Pedicures aren't much better as the two times I've been, the massage function on the chairs was broken. Maybe I've just had bad luck with seating? The friendly staff and neighborhood feel of this place is what makes it special. Would I go back for a massage? Absolutely. Find excellent deals on Groupon or save on their subscription packages. Let's start by saying that there's no way to write this review that won't sound like first world problems. However, if you are going for a spa experience, go somewhere else. The people here, management aside, are really nice. All of them. And the massage I got was one of the best I had. That's why I gave it a 2. But I won't be going back again. Management was insistent to the point of rude that I write a review... so here goes. There is nothing about this place that feels like a spa. Not the colors. Not the cleanliness. Not the layout. Not the faded towels. Not the low end products they use. Not the bizarre wine cups. Not the strange waiting rooms that feel like a pediatrician's office ... as opposed to a "relaxation area" that they call it. There's not a good area to get ready or reapply makeup when you're done with your services. The nail color selection is not up to date and has very few options for matching gel and toe color. The nail tech, although super friendly and nice, did not have high standards when it came to her work and my mani shows it. But I don't think it's her fault. The spa is simply not a spa. When you're surrounded by low standards everyone's standards tend to go down. If you're looking for a spa experience, go somewhere else. read more

I love The Spa! I've had a membership here for like 3 years. I just love coming in to get my nails done and hangout with the awesome, fun staff. They make a good day better and a bad day pretty ok. :) Nat is absolutely the best! I'm picky about wanting my color all the way back to my cuticle and she does it perfectly! They have an amazing membership option where I pay less than $50 a month and can come in every two weeks. Each visit rotates between full service and a polish change. And if I can't make a service, I don't lose it! It's honestly such a cash saver for me. Gone are the days of me paying $80-$120 per visit at a nail salon.
