The café occupies one end of the building. I stopped in with a friend for an early lunch, and what a great surprise this turned out to be. Food: Their menu contains regular items as well as some R&D (Research and Development) selections. R&D items are not your typical flavor combinations and are great choices if you like trying different things. We got a couple of hot beverages. My friend ordered the hot chocolate, and I decided to try the special Carrot Cake Chai (with fresh carrots and spices). The hot chocolate was expertly made. It was rich, had excellent foam, and featured special latte art. The Carrot Cake Chai had strong flavor and a wonderful creamy texture. It was a bit sweet for my tastes (and I like sweet), and I didn't finish it. I talked to the barista, and they said they could easily adjust the sweetness level by using one less pump of the syrup. For food, I got the Wisco Avocado Toast, and my friend ordered the Devil Egg Salad Sandwich. My toast was good, with a generous amount of fresh avocado. The grape tomatoes were flavorful, but there was a bit too much of the chili crisp seasoning. The side salad was a small mix of lettuce with a few sliced radishes. My friend really enjoyed the egg salad. It was fresh, flavorful, had the right amount of mayo, and came in a good portion. Service: Super friendly service from the staff. I got a lot of helpful suggestions from the person taking the order, and the barista did an amazing job with the drinks. They give you a number and deliver your meal to your table. Food and drinks came out in a reasonable amount of time. Atmosphere: This place has a terrific layout. You can choose from several different seating areas. Some are set up for a quick meal, while others, like the upstairs area, feel more like a lounge. We sat in the back where there is a couch and several high-top tables. The place has an upscale yet casual feel to it. Before leaving, I picked up several of their sample packs of the most popular sauces: dark, white, and caramel. They will make great gifts for friends. Definitely a place worth checking out or visiting again.

Great, relaxing atmosphere. Smelled deliciously the second you walk through the doors. Loved the…read moredifferent eating areas, as well as the decor throughout. Staff was courteous & pleasant. I ordered a white hot chocolate & the "Lucky Pig" French Toast Bake bowl, and my husband ordered a regular hot chocolate & the Breakfast Champion bowl. Now, I love a good white hot chocolate (prefer it over normal hot cocoa), and maybe I set my expectations a little too high, but I found the white hot chocolate here was lacking flavor. Texture was creamy and frothy, and it was served in a nice ceramic mug, but I was disappointed that it looked better than it tasted. Their regular hot chocolate, on the other hand, was incredibly rich and flavorful. Smooth, velvety, divine chocolatey goodness. The bowls were also fantastic. The individual elements in the Lucky Pig bowl were each absolutely delicious. Together? A symphony in the mouth. Although initially I thought the portion was a tad small, it was plenty. The gingerbread brioche French toast bake was fluffy, spiced perfectly, and pleasingly sweet. The healthy helping of almond mascarpone cream that topped the bake was not overly sweet or tart, but had the right amount of cool, sweet tang with a delicate almond flavor. And the raspberry creme purée with almond streusel I could eat by the spoonful, it was that good. My husband found his Breakfast bowl to be equally satisfying, noting that his favorite part was the sausage & bacon crumble, which added the right amount of smokey-salty flavor to the whole dish. There were other things on the menu we'd like to try but that would be for future visits. We definitely will be back.

Date of visit: January 22, 2026…read more A fun little place in Grafton to wait while your husband has a procedure down the road at Aurora. Okay, you don't have to have that specific scenario to enjoy this cozy spot! You could tell that this was a big meeting place for the locals and regulars, though despite being neither, I didn't feel out of place or viewed askance, which I really appreciated. My Salted Caramel Mocha was a thing of rare beauty and joy, and I went ahead and signed up for their loyalty club at the same time (who doesn't like freebies in exchange for your soul/data?). If you want to work out of this location, make sure you have a fully charged battery as there are few outlets in the inner cafe area; the outer area is better equipped that way but was decidedly lacking in heat and not a place I could stay for any larger amount of time! Since I was there a while, I also went with a peanut butter cake, though I was disappointed to find out that you earn no points on food, just coffee. The cake was very good but also very rich, and I wish that had water on hand to help me finish it!

I love their speciality coffee drinks, which go beyond simply adding this syrup or that one; they're genuinely creative and suit the season or holiday well. Whether you're looking for a traditional macchiato or a fancy beverage with whipped cream and chocolate, you can get it here and know that it will be delicious. This is a perfect place to catch up with friends, get some work done alone, or just read a book. The shop itself is more spacious than a lot of coffee shops in the area and retains that classic old brick industrial building charm, situated on the first floor of the historic Grafton Arts Mill (which you can also check out if you want to see some great local art!)

I usually ask for it in a mug, but unfortunately they don't have mugs, so you get a paper cup. I asked for whole milk, a little lavender, and a little vanilla. After I got it and looked inside, I was seriously disappointed. It was pretty much a cup of hot milk with a tea bag floating at the top. It was hot and had reasonably good flavor (the bag was still steeping), but there wasn't much latte texture at all. I didn't even finish it. They have a nice selection of different bakery items, cakes, and cookies. I saw many people enjoying these, but I didn't get anything myself. Service: The folks taking the order were nice. They seemed to know lots of regulars who came in for beverages and food. Atmosphere: The place is super cute. It has an old-time feel to it, with a tin ceiling, wood floors, period lighting, and a cast-iron radiator. The roaster sits in the middle of the place, with a counter all around it for enjoying your drink. Other seating options are along the outside walls and near the front windows. As cute as it is, I'm not likely to stop back. It just doesn't offer a quality beverage that I would enjoy.
