This was the 3rd crab restaurant we experienced while in Phoenix, Arizona. And by far the best one. Was levels above the angry crab and Harbor Cajun Seafood. I did the build your own combo. I ordered half a pound of snow crab legs and a half a pound of crawfish and one lobster tail. The crab cluster was one of the largest clusters that I've had in a restaurant in the last three years. Same thing goes for the lobster tail. It was split into two pieces and each one was larger than a chicken strip from Chick-fil-A. The sauce flavor was really really good. I got the Cajun and garlic butter spicy. There is a very mild, extremely mild, hint of sweetness to the sauce, but very garlicky and very flavorful. I also ordered a Tokyo Tea. The bartender was unfamiliar, but still accommodating to the recipe that I provided. My drink turned out very good. I would definitely recommend going to this place if you're in the area. Also, I was staying in downtown Phoenix. The Lyft ride over there was a very short ride. The menu has market price for the seafood items that they have available and it says per pound however, if you just wanna half a pound they would just take the market price and divide it in half. The only thing that I would say they could improve on would be the Cajun fries. They had a nice spicy kick to them. However, they were low on the salt rating. Also, build your own combos do not come with any potatoes, corn or sausage. Those items are à la cart. Bathrooms were cleans. Small establishment in a plaza but nice. read more

I have always been a big fan of the Angry Crab and places like that and I'm also a big seafood fan in general. I found this place as I was going north on 35th Avenue approaching Greenway. It is on the south east corner. Very comfortable interior with kind of a tropical feel. What's this place apart for me was the menu where I saw and only the seafood options but also some Asian options as well. I started out with some egg rolls which were nice and crunchy and lots of vegetables in them. I also got two mini corn on the cobs and two hard boiled eggs for the protein hit. Corn was cooked perfectly and just had enough butter. My main course was the butterfly shrimp and french fries. The shrimp was nice and crispy on the outside but the crust did not take away from the Flavor of the shrimp nor did the cocktail sauce which had a nice hit of horseradish in it. The french fries were also nice and crispy and lightly salted which if you've read my prayer reviews I never want the fries to be overly seasoned and take the potato taste away and these were very pleasing. My server was very attentive and very pleasant and this place is a definite alternative and even a little more economical then some of the other places that serve the item in the bag with your choice of seasonings and sauces and whatever else you want to throw into it and also some other options as well. read more

First off great service!!! Becca greeted us as soon as we walked in the door. She gave us options to sit where ever we liked. So we chose the bar (first for us w/ crab boil) and it was ok. Ken was awesome he came over and greeted us, introduced his self and thanked us for coming in. Becca was very attentive and came by periodically to check in on us. Ok ok ok the food!!! AMAZING!!! We did chose medium for our spice level and next time I will try the hot just for a lil more kick. We have the coconut shrimp 10/10, spicy edamame 9.5/10 could have used a little bit more season but spice was good. Combo C w/ add lobster tail was perfect!!! We will for sure be back. The best Cajun seafood in Phoenix!! Huge king crab legs, crawfish, shrimp, mussels, oysters, galore!! Seafood is extremely fresh, yummy, and flavorful. My server (if the receipt is correct) was Tien and he was amazing! Great, fast service. The seafood boil was delicious. Spice level is described perfectly, shrimp, crab, and crawfish all tasted very fresh and were cooked perfectly. VERY fair prices. I know everything is expensive these days but for crab, crawfish, shrimp, extras, AND a couple drinks my tab was only slightly over $60. House special sauce was super yummy. If you like spice, hot was very enjoyable, extra and extremely hot would have your nose running but sometimes that's what you need!! It was a Sunday evening, pretty quiet other than a larger party there for their birthday (who shared their cake, very kindly). It's similar to the Angry Crab but much better! All the sauces are good, although very garlic heavy the house is a combination and the most popular. Adding corn on the Cobb and potato to any bag should be suggested the combo with the sauce makes for a very tasty meal. The space is clean and has a cool nautical decor. I've always been a fan of seafood boil and was super excited to try the Spice Sea! The interior is decorated very nicely and has a fun vibe, with a huge projector as well. The service was great-- kind waitstaff that were efficient and attentive. Being a family owned restaurant, you can really tell the difference compared to a chain-- they really care about their food. Omg. This place is sooo good! Me and my finance went 3 times in like 3 weeks, we love seafood and moved into a new area so we were on the hunt for local spots. I took him here on a whim because neither of us wanted to cook and I do not regret it. When we walked in the restaurant it smelt sooo good and I knew we came to the right place, the staff seems to be family and are all very sweet and all strive to take care of you. We got the Combo B to share and it was plenty for the both of us!! We also ordered drinks and they are nicely priced & super tasty (also have a happy hour) but the star really is the food. I've been to angry crab and juicy but I feel like it's overpriced and compared to here it's definitely no where as near good. The crab here is cooked perfectly!! And so is the crawfish, there house special sauce is perfect and the hot was the right amount of spice without making my lips burn. I recommend anyone wanting a good seafood boil to come here and support a family business while saving some money and enjoying some really bomb ass seafood. This is a hidden gem! I'm so glad my uncle told me about this place and we were able to try it one Saturday afternoon. The owner waited on us and she was top notch. The food, the ambiance, the music, everything was excellent. Angry Crab who?? This will definitely be my go-to from now on. This local restaurant right in my neighborhood just opened up and what a perfect time to try it but on Mother's Day! I mean who doesn't love seafood especially Cajun style?! We were pleasantly surprised as the seafood in a bag that other similar restaurants offer was Excellent! My two sons got the snow crab while I opted for some clams. Hubby stuck with the basic fish and chips but tried everybody's dish to make sure it was all delicious LOL. You ever go somewhere or you just feel very unwelcomed. That is the vibe I got when I came into this restaurant at 7 PM. It was completely empty. They do not close to 9 PM. We ask if they were open and they said yes.. honestly, with the way we were treated I would have prefer them to say hey. Yeah we're closed and and we would be on our merry little way. The waiter was definitely just a kid who's too busy on his phone and watching the game to pay any attention to us. We were craving seafood, but you know the rules empty restaurant equals not so good food service so we opted out for the fried food. What was really concerning what's the fact that the waiter had never tried the food that is being served at this restaurant? every time we ordered something it seem to be an inconvenience for him. he just seem to be an overall bad mood.
