I feel like it was actually on my list of places to try when I used to work out this way before. It's fairly easy enough to get to. Parking is... small but it's not the worst thing in the world. I was early for the dinner crowd that slowly began to come in. Staff was very friendly. Attentive enough but not overbearing. I personally don't eat sushi so I cannot comment on that. I had the ginger salad, spicy chicken ramen and the fried dumplings. The ginger salad was ok. I wish it was fresh ginger dressing but I still enjoyed how light it was. The ramen left a little to be desired. I felt the broth wasn't rich enough and the chicken could've been crispier. But the best was the fried gyoza. You'll never go wrong with those. Steaming hot and savory. I would absolutely go back during a lunch special, not full price dinner

Our server was kind and helpful. My friend and I each got a ramen, then dynamite shrimp and edamame to share. Everything was delicious. I love that they had an option for a veggie ramen with a veggie base. I believe it was miso base. I also was able to add on a few veggies too! It was delicious.

It was hard boiled instead of soft boiled. It had not been marinated in tamari and mirin (etc) long enough to darken the yolk. The plate of Singapore chow mein has changed to include cilantro which we requested to leave off, plate arrived covered in cilantro. For years, the main reason I came to tin drum was to get their Thai tea. They did away with it. Now they bait you with cafe du monde cans on every table but no coffee available. Bottle drinks are $2.95. Place is loud and echoes. The person taking orders does not acknowledge you. We thought for a minute we just had to put an order in on the screen that was looking towards the customers (us and the 6 people behind us). We started tapping the screen since the person behind it was clearly not capable of interacting with us, he turned the screen off on us. Yeah, I may try another location of Tin Drum to see if they had their tasty Thai tea but I won't be back to this one.

A little bit pricey but I'm ok with it since it's stayed consistent throughout the years. They aren't a boba shop so it's not that great but it's also an option if you're interested in that.

The server was a little rude when we entered and didn't talk much she just made hand gestures and basically slammed some menus in front of us. We ordered quite a bunch. Bao buns, teriyaki bowls, sushi and a Thai tea. Everything came out at different times and everything was pretty delicious. Overall the food was very good but service definitely could have been better. I'd come back again but it would mostly be if I couldn't anything else in the area.

Tucked in a small plaza sandwiched between a orthodontists office and a salon is this little tiny joint off Webb Bridge road off Kimball Bridge in Alpharetta. So when you walk into the place, it's got the vibe of a night market where you're sitting in the street of Hong Kong or Beijing eating local fare. The decor reflects that the art of the place gives it that night market feeling. There isn't much in terms of service as it's a small operation but that's all you really need is a front of house greeter/host and someone to deliver the food and someone to cook it and Haochi has it! Now let's talk food... I had gotten their char sui pork bao (they named it chashu like the Japanese pork used in Tonkatsu ramen), Taiwanese fried chicken, and the HongKong wonton noodle soup... and let me tell you! It's all great! The Taiwanese fried chicken is crispy yet the chicken is so juicy and flavorful. Seasoned beautifully with a hint of that Chinese 5 spice in the batter recipe and served popcorn style with a sweet and sour dipping sauce makes for a very good starter The bao bun is light. Not much of a fan of the char sui pork as it was cut bologne thin yet held almost no flavor and the cucumber used was a bit off putting so wasn't a fan of the bao, at least not the chashu version. The HongKong wonton Noodle soup is amazing!!! The broth was savory, rich, yet seeing that the base of the broth is wonton soup broth, it was also light and super clean and deeply flavorful. Maybe it's the MSG but that's an Asian staple seasoning. They did give large chunks of roast pork and about 4 shumai dumplings in the broth. The noodles were thin and cooked to perfection. What set this right even more so was the addition of chili oil. Bummed they didn't have Chinese black vinegar but I think that's just me being snobby. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experience at Haochi and it's definitely fusion but not in the way that it satisfies the western taste as there is still a prominent nod to the Chinese and South East Asian flavors. Worth hitting up for a lunch spot or a hang with friends.

I walked into this bright and colorful cafeteria style restaurant and noticed the beautifully colored pictures on the wall. The ambiance her is casual but it does set a little undertone of sophistication. The restaurant is immaculate. With everything in its rightful place, I saw high tops seating with tables and table and chair with cushion seating. Very comfortable! It served me well to sit at the high top seating as I find that more comfortable for me and it is very, very quiet here. The person making that salad greeted me as I approach. I guess he was waiting to see if I was going to use the kiosk as several others did while i waited for food to be prepared. I was the only one dining in, everyone else took there's to go and a few Uber Eats or Door dash showed up. I ordered The balsamic shrimp salad, it has lettuce mix, grilled shrimp, pickled radish, edamame, purple cabbage, seasoned corn, sesame seed, croutons, and balsamic vinegar dressing. I asked to add avocado and MJ us the seasoned corn. This salad was a perfect balance for me. Not too filling. Balsamic vinaigrette dressing is not one of my favorites so I sprinkled it on not too heavy. I also had the ITOEN unsweetened Bold Green Tea. It had a bold flavor, hence the name. I will be here until Saturday so I'll come back two more days. On my way out, I stopped by the laboratory to find it was near and tidy as well. As I left the restaurant, I heard a female worker thanking me for coming in. Awesome customer service today.

It comes with grilled vegetables and red pepper, and I left off the sesame seeds. I did add in a grilled broccoli base for $1, and really enjoyed being able to get so many fresh vegetables as part of my dinner. Next time I might try the cold rice noodles. The order was ready for pick-up right on time, and as always, the restaurant was clean with places to sit available, had we not gotten it to-go. (I will say that the chicken came with what was supposed to be a teriyaki sauce, but which tasted like soy sauce, so maybe there was a mix-up? But, since we've always had such stellar service before, we will of course, be back!)
