Every time I try to give this place a chance its always a bad mistake. I placed an order through Yelp. My delivery driver was very rude cursing because I was charged a delivery fee and he could not get his tip. I spoke to John at Grub Hub on chat earlier about my order 392804362675362. I placed the order but it would not take my Yelp24 free promo code. He adjusted my order from $21.09 to $19.09 to include the free delivery however when the driver arrived, the total was $20.98. John F told me this would be adjusted. However when the driver arrived the receipt was $20.98 and did not have the promo code spell24 adjusted. I told the driver i spoke to grub hub and it should be $19.09. He said no its $20.98. Ok I handed him $21. He said No tip? I said I just advised you this order was supposed to be $19.09. At that point he demanded a tip from me and held my door open with his foot so I could not close the door. He argued with me at my job that no this is the amount then he continued to demand a tip. He was super aggressive and rude. I was giving him a $2 tip but its not my fault grub hub didn't adjust the order correctly. They even sent me an email stating it was adjusted so why that did not happen I do not know. When I pulled the door the driver started cursing at me stating FUCK!!! as he was going back to his car. I will NEVER EVER order from HIBACHI again. Most of the Asian restaurants here in Peachtree Corners have aggressive delivery people who demand tips. Guys I'm giving this place 2 stars because the owner was very nice. First I was looking for a hibachi place. I didn't know they cook it in the back, which usually isn't a good sign. We wanted the full experience. So we got there and the place looked like a dive. No one was in the restaurant. I ordered hibachi chicken and hibachi steak. The steak was awful. Honestly, one of the best in the area for quick- delicious meals. I've been coming here for quite some time and food is always good and consistent. The Hibachi is money. I've had Vegetable Hibachi, Chicken hibachi, and steak fried rice hibachi, and paired with that yum yum sauce takes it over the top. Sometimes its hard to remember that its there in the shopping center, got to look for it. Overall, really good food, with lunch specials that are around the $6 dollar mark, can't go wrong with that. The main reason i give it 4 stars it's just the time it takes them to get my meals done. Maybe i've gotten there right before a big order comes through, but i've had to wait a little while for it; I don't mind since I know it will be great. Once in awhile will stop in to get a to go order. They are quick and efficient and even work with requests with no gluten. (This being said if are on that diet you know what you can or cannot eat). The only delivery order I've ever had in the two plus years living at this address they had it here in less than twenty minutes. If you ask nicely they may just give you the lunch specials fifteen minutes past their preferred time and throw in extra (white) rice that was not even asked for but appreciated. The lunch specials offer two kinds of soup and a spring roll or egg roll. The spring roll has pork and fried and once in awhile allow myself this small luxury or skip it. I had a craving for Chinese food and this place is right around the corner. I ordered Kung Pao chicken which also came with a pretty big egg roll and a wing. We ordered on the fly this past Friday night an order of Shrimp fried rice, 1 egg roll & 1 spring roll. The fried rice is everything that your Chinese dreams are made of. When ordered, I expected the small salad shrimp, but was pleasantly surprised when we received 10-12 LARGE shrimp on top of traditional fried rice; so much yum! I'll be concise and list why this is my go-to lunch place. (1) They are very flexible with what I ask for, which is important because of my vegan diet. But I'm sure they will be as flexible, should anyone ask for substitution or modification. (2) Very inexpensive for the freshness of ingredients. I bet it's hard to get this kind of deal anywhere. I've only been here for lunch, so I'm not sure about dinner menu. (3) They are friendly and honest. I've been to many Chinese restaurants and lied to about ingredients just so they can conveniently sell one dish or two. If you haven't eaten animal products for so long, the smells become very distinctive and I can tell if a dish contains fish sauce or meat/bone-based broth. I don't have to worry about that at this place because they make exactly what I ask for. Cleanliness is a MEGA plus. (4) Close proximity to my work I think the reviews should be based on the value you get compared to the price you pay. If you want a fancy dining experience, use your judgment and go elsewhere. I ordered the hibachi salmon and an egg roll. A few minutes after placing my order they call to inform me that they're out of salmon. I order the shrimp and scallops instead. The delivery was fast but the food was disappointing. The egg roll was tiny and soggy. I ordered at 6:55PM and did not have our food delivered until almost 8:40PM. I had to follow up once within the app and once via phone.
