These were the worst soup dumplings I've ever had. I've been on a mission to find some great soup dumplings, so when I saw that this restaurant was down the street from my job, I didn't hesitate to go visit. The decor and setup of the restaurant was very colorful and unique. There was a beautiful Asian inspired mural on the wall and plenty of seating. Once I chose my table and ordered I waited about 15 to 20 minutes. When the dumplings came out, they did not look appetizing. They were incredibly small and the dough had a crosshatch pattern on the outside. There was no 'soup' inside the dumplings and the filling taste wasn't worth remembering. If you have been to a 10 second, you have tried them all. We came here for a dinner. Going more north, this was the only rice noodle spot. When we came, there weren't that many people however we did see a lot of people taking out. Great broth that you can take home and warm up with other noodles, it was pretty empty. They're known for their soup noodles, so I would say that's a have to get menu item. Usually other spots let you put your own ingredients in your soup, but this place sort of just does that for you. I would guess that washing all those dishes had something to do with it. Anyways, the service was good, plenty of seating inside and would definitely recommend to try this place out if you have never had Yunnan noodles. read more

At other Ten Second restaurants, we are generally asked if we want all the ingredients (e.g. pickled veggies, ham, quail egg, etc) in the soup or if we want them in the small plates and add them ourselves. Based on photos, it seems that they did that before, but when we ate here, everything was already added in our soup. I'm so happy there's a Chinese hot pot/noodle place in johns creek now and I don't have to drive all the way to Duluth or Doraville! The restaurant is located in the same shopping center as crunch fitness and behind johns creek dental associates. The place is very clean and spacious. Love the artwork on the walls. We came here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn't very busy. The staff were super helpful with recommendations and answering any questions I had. They were very accommodating; my husband was running late and they held off on bringing out his soup until he got there. The service was great and they came to our table often to check on us. We ordered the szechuan pepper beef soup ($14.95) It was so good! I was expecting the traditional very red soup base with lots of peppers and peppercorn. But instead it's a clear broth with peppercorns. The flavor was outstanding, super flavorful, spicy and had the perfect amount of numbing spice. It comes with little sides you add into the broth. The beef was very tender with the perfect amount of fat that absorbs the soup nicely. They give you lots of noodles too that don't get soggy when left in the soup over time, they are very bouncy. We also ordered the chicken soup ($13.95)They give you lots of chicken which was nice but the flavor was lacking. It didn't really stand out and maybe it's just my preference for Spicy dishes. I wouldn't get it again next time. Overall, the quality is good and fresh. They give decent portions. It is a bit pricey and I wish they had lunch specials around the $10-$12 price range. Delicious new noodle place I was excited for. It was amazing. The overall taste is more Taiwanese I believe, with lots of different pickled veggies in separate plates. A robot brings out all the dishes and the meat and soup come last. Dropped the meat into the soup to make sure the raw beef cooked - we split the braised beef and the thinly sliced, raw beef. It was great to try both, equally delicious with different textures. Overall I liked the braised better. I put all of the veggie dishes in and all of them tasted good to me. Warning! This restaurant is NOT like the other Ten Secs Noodle you have been! The owners don't run the business like the rest of the Ten Secs Noodle restaurants in Doraville or Duluth. Not only did they used low quality ingredients, they also cheated us from the rest of the side dishes ingredients: No ham, only 1 piece of fish cake, no white fungus, only less than 5 pieces of corns, no chives. Ordered 2 bowls of original soup with fish fillet for to-go. Came home to find out there were no fishes. At all! Found some super fatty beef (picture attached) and 2 tiny baby shrimps. Called the location and the person that picked up the phone said that's how their Original Soup should be (total BS because we go to the one in Doraville very often, and been to this location dine-in before). Even though the lady owner offered replacement, we are likely either going to dine-in or never going back. Talk about waste of money. At $15 per bowl, I am better off driving a little further to the other 2 locations. Don't waste your time and belly space here! read more

New location just opened in the Suwanee area, so I had to check it out. Super cool tech and restaurant setup. Service was prompt and menu was concise (although it was some very funny typos). The concept of this restaurant is similar to hotpot without the hassle of having to actively cook while eating - servers put meat/protein into the clay pot while it is very hot, and the rest of the ingredients are up to you. Very fun, delicious, and inexpensive experience. A new favorite of mine. Out of tomato, original chicken, and spicy beef, spicy beef is my personal favorite. read more

We have been here a few times and happy that there is one in the Johns Creek area. While it tastes good especially on a cold day, I have a few thoughts. The restaurant recently advertised on their Facebook page of a BOGO deal. However, there was no indication that you cannot get one to go. Ie, if you come here by yourself, you cannot get the BOGO deal and take another one home for another meal. They also were strict that you cannot just mention the BOGO deal you have to show the Facebook ad, which also was not indicated on their page. I feel like if you should make it clear of these rules on your FB ad of this deal if you're going to give customers a hard time... or not have this deal at all. Also, in the past few months, they've stopped serving the noodle soup like all of the other stores (Duluth, Doraville) where it comes out with piping hot soup, noodles and all the "side dishes" in small plates. I was told that meats were not cooked thoroughly, so now they dump them all in together in the kitchen and bring it out to you in one bowl. It takes the fun out of dining here. The last time we were here, the fatty sliced beef was still slightly uncooked even though they mixed it all together for us in the kitchen. read more

If you're Chinese, it's 油腻 but the soups are so savory and good. We had the classic 牛肉麵 (beef stew), a basic one with their default cuts and a heavier one with mushrooms and thin sliced belly meat. Going in, it's airy, they have fans going, and the employees are in the top quartile of actually being masked. They have a really big shan shui that stretches the entire length of one wall. It's a fun and cute depiction of some dynasty that people way more literate than me would know and set a nice vibe . On the topic of food, they had bottles for soy sauce, light sodium soy, sriracha, and what I assume was a mix of what I think was oil + oyster sauce that I didn't try so don't trust me on that. The basic stew came with long, thin rice noodles (ramen-esque for the ppl who don't know what that means). Beef was mostly top cuts were boiled until tender. Broth was a little heavy with the white pepper and a little light on the five spice but that's a quibble - the basic broth is solid and you'll add to it anyway, and the veggies/meat portions are enough that a normal person would be stuffed to bursting. For the mushroom stew with the thin flank cuts, it came with a surprisingly meaty broth that was much more neutral in that it wasn't spiced at all. Tasted kind of like the broth from the kettle where beef is boiled. Same decent portions but with mushrooms. The bowls they came in were stone and kept the soup super hot for a long time so wait a hot minute before you dig in. You get a ladle with a little soup bowl to cool things off or you can eat like a heathen like I do and just life stuff out, blow on it a lot, and then burn your entire mouth when you eat it. I feel like this is the perfect place after a night out when you're craving hearty food and wish it existed in Atlanta instead. But in terms of just going there to eat, it feels nostalgic to me - it's like the restaurants my parents managed that I grew up in the backrooms of, playing Tetris and watching Emmit Smith make running plays actually fun and not grueling dogpiles. The soup itself has an enriching flavor with eggs, beef, ham, noodles, vegetable leaves, tomatoe soup, corn, and a bit of onions sprawled throughout the mix. Restaurant was a bit full due to being lunch hour but overall ambiance is quite chill and not too chaotic for such a size, which is perfect for an afternoon meal. The menu has changed since the last time I was there but overall it was concise. Ingredients came in a tray and I dumped them all in at once and one at a time, which is more convenient than hot pot as you don't have to wait for things to boil to get ready. You won't leave this restaurant feeling hungry at all, and the soup has different flavors your tongue goes through as you make your way to the bottom of it, with each of those flavors in the ingredients listed above giving you taste buds a different feel and flavor, making the overall experience dynamic and tasteful, rather than many meals where you repeat the same monotonous experience in tasting the same flavors over and over again until you finish. This one gives you different vibe in which you are given many different and dynamic flavors to feast your taste buds on. Coupled with a good afternoon setting and quality service, the restaurant has become a new local favorite of mine. 5/5 recommend! read more

Hi everyone, this was my first time coming in to dine at this restaurant the one on pleasant hill road. At first everyone was kind, the hostess and my server. I sit to eat and I order two appetizers and an entree. My entree was the beef mixed noodle soup. I get my food and I loved my appetizers but hated my entree. I told my server I was embarrassed to send it back but really would like to because there's no way I can down this noodle soup. He says I can't send it back I'll give you discount. I told him with apologies I really don't feel comfortable paying for something I didn't enjoy eating at all especially since all I did was try the soup without eating it whole. I said I didn't like the soup and he said well we don't like you. That was very disrespectful especially since me as a customer I have every right to send back a dish if I don't like it. I proceeded to tell him I will not pay for this dish and I'll gladly pay for the food I actually enjoyed. He proceeded to tell me not to come back to the restaurant. For those who go out looking for good service this isn't the place. I was disrespected and treated like scum all because I sent a dish back that I wasn't enjoying. I'm an 18 year old girl I don't normally go out to alone, I was nervous to be alone and embarrassed to have to send the dish back because I tend to avoid problems. There are many noodle places out there, guys I recommend trying one of those instead of coming here. I'll never be back here again nor do I recommend this to anyone.
