This was my first time at The Stockpot. The lemon crusted cod on the lunch menu was delicious. I ordered it with double veggies (wasn't in the mood for white rice) which made it even better. The bread with herbed butter was so good! Lunch partner enjoyed the ahi salad. Service was great; our water glasses were kept full, plates were cleared efficiently and the waitress was friendly and didn't intrude upon our conversation. Nice setting on a golf course. Bar was a bit noisy, but the dining area was perfect for conversation. On the way out I inquired about gluten-free options. Their menu is marked. Great food, excellent service, in a relaxed ambiance is the perfect way to describe Stockpot. A perfect little gem near Beaverton, and right on the golf course, the food is really good. We had Loaded Nachos, Short Rib Dinner, Crab Cakes, and a Shrimp Louie salad. The Loaded Nachos came out fresh and hot, with guacamole, sour cream, cheese, onions, ground beef, and jalapeños. Very tasty. The Crab cakes were also fresh with a homemade taste. It sat on a roasted Ceasar salad with a delicious basil and Caesar dressing. The Short Rib Dinner came with Mashed Potatoes and veggies. The short ribs were tender and flavorful, with a delicious au jus to compliment both the short ribs and mashed potatoes. The Shrimp Louie was fresh and crispy. Our hostess was genuine and took great care of us. Just a great place to visit for a nice dinner, enough televisions to watch the games, and large windows to see a hole in one. I'll be back to try some other dishes on their menu! read more

Our waitress was lovely and very attentive, but the food was pretty average for the high cost. The shrimp scampi was flavorful and well-cooked, but the NY strip was significantly undercooked and not worth the cost. I am in town for work and the Stockpot was exactly what I was looking for. Was able to walk in and sit in the bar area at a table where I received prompt and attentive service. It has the ambiance of an old fine dining establishment and had the dark lighting to support. I ordered the NY Strip and it was insanely large and delicious with a great flavorful crust. I gave the option of two desserts for the waitress to pick from and surprise me and I'm so glad she picked the Limoncello cake - it was absolutely phenomenal. I'm not sure when my travels will bring me back through, but until then I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will look forward to a return trip. read more

First off, the food here is good but I must say the service is very slow and they do not pay attention to your table. I have been there twice within the last month to celebrate different occasions and both times, we are not attended to by our waiters. First time we were there for 2.5 hours and it took 30min to get our appetizers then around 45 min to get our dinner. The whole time, we never even got bread or refills on water and never got our drinks the whole time as well. We went again, hoping it would be better service. The food came faster but I had to wave down ANY help 4 times just to get water and drinks. I even had to ask for warm bread and butter. I saw my waiter when she took the order and when she served the food but when she gave us the check, she came back 4 times within 15 min. wOnt be going back! read more

Great service, average food, interesting crowd. I had the beef stroganoff, a dish I've had around the world since I was 8 years old. It was college cafeteria level. The portion is huge, and the beef itself was very good, but as a served entree, very average. However, our server was so adorably enthusiastic about it, I couldn't help but love her. This is our go to place for family and professional celebrations and just a nice evening out. Food and service is always the very best quality and most seats have a wonderful view out to the golf course. There is also outdoor dining available in nice weather. All dishes are done very well; so many excellent choices! They have also updated their menu and I suspect/hope that they'll continue to do so. Interior finishes are a bit dated but almost retro mid-century now! We've also used private dining for bigger celebrations, Stockpot does very well hosting those too in fact we have another private dining event coming up this month. Let me start by saying the servers and staff could not be nicer. I wish I could give separate ratings for service and menu. But the menu doesn't have any vegan or vegetarian items. Even their fries are cooked with chicken so not even those. So beer and water for me when I'm finished golfing but I really think they could do better. The special was a filet with shrimp, asparagus and potatoes. Phenomenal! Honorable mention to the mushroom appetizer but imagine a few others would have been great alternatives. This restaurant is a 10/10 from me and I highly recommend! Our server has been there for 20+ years and told us all about the menu and what she would recommend. The lighting helps to create a calming and sophisticated vibe inside the restaurant. The prices are very fair for the portions and you will likely have leftovers! The apple salad is perfectly portioned with fruit, walnuts, and lettuce with a light vinaigrette dressing. The salmon is melt in your mouth and I cannot rave about the risotto on bottom enough!! We have been going to Stockpot Broiler for years. We are not "regular" customers. Sometimes we plan ahead and make a reservation but often time it a "let's go to Stockpot!" kinda day. That means a bottle of wine, at least one lobster bisque, maybe stuffed mushrooms, etc. We always love the food and service. The beef stroganoff has always been my favorite. Our last visit, a week ago, was a bit disappointing. We did not make a reservation and just showed up for lunch and chose to sit in the bar area. We usually sit in the dining room unless we're doing happy hour. our server was great! The service was great! The food was the disappointment. The lobster bisque, which one of us always gets, came out luke warm with the tiniest amount of lobster. It is served table side. the bowl with the lobster is placed in front of you and the bisque is poured into the bowl. It was the smallest little pile of lobster that we've ever been served. I ordered the French onion soup for the first time at Stockpot. It is my favorite soup. It looked beautiful. The stock was fine, the onions weren't. It was like they were sautéed a bit and the stock was added and done. The onions were still crunchy not caramelized . I worked at a Holiday Inn restaurant in New Jersey in the early 80's and that soup tasted the same. Then the stuffed mushrooms. I used joke that you couldn't see the crab filled mushrooms for the mound of melted cheese on top. No more. Much less cheese on top, probably better? Far less crab filling, two mushrooms lacked filling. New chef, trying to save money, cutting corners, it shows. We're not the only one's who have noticed. I hope when we return some of the issues get fixed because we love this place! We have been in the industry and understand, but maybe not such big obvious changes. read more

This is a really nice restaurant with very good food. The service was amazing - I'm a big water drinker and my very little glass never had less than half a cup. I forgot to take a picture of my drink but it was the pear drink and it was good. It's right off the golf course Red Tail and has a nice view of the 18th hole. My tenderloin was very tender and tasted great. My husband's lamb was falling off the bone, but a touch on the dry side. The sides were all quite good as well. It was my husband's birthday so we both enjoyed steaks and has the coconut shrimp appetizer as a starter. Sharon was our server and she has been there for 30 years, knowing what's tasty and making recommendations on different dishes. The birthday card was a nice touch plus a glass of sparkling wine with a complimentary ice cream dessert. Perfect ending to a well-paced dinner experience with a beautiful golf course view.
