    Happy Hour Menu June 2026
    Connie C.

First time I've tried their happy hour. The waitress was excellent, attentive and kind. The ambiance was great...sitting outside on a golf course in the sun! The food was great... just wish it was a little heartiest. Got the egg rolls on happy hour. Delicious, but two egg rolls for $8 were a lot. The steak bites in teriyaki were spectacular. Tender and I loved the sweet glaze. The portion was very small though but overall loved the experience!

Shrimp scampi. Baked potato. New York Strip Loin

Our waitress was lovely and very attentive, but the food was pretty average for the high cost. The shrimp scampi was flavorful and well-cooked, but the NY strip was significantly undercooked and not worth the cost. We may come back for the lounge menu and small plates but will probably skip on a full dinner experience again.

Just an old school country club steakhouse kind of vibe. They're a really good happy hour menu but everything was tasty. I would've liked the Ajou for my prime rib to be a little bit more flavorful instead it was kind of like gravy but otherwise our waitress was lovely and everything was tasty.

The food was great! Service was well and the ambiance was very romantic. We went for Valentine's Day and the servers were very helpful with the menu as we had some dietary restrictions. We had the warm crab dip and Brie to start with and for entree we had the filet mignon and rib eye steak, both were prepared very well! Great experience, great big parking lot and lounge areas for drinks.

Great service, nice view of the golf course, and good meal. My husband ordered a filet mignon cooked medium and it was pretty rare, but the tenderloin and ribeye were very tasty. They came around frequently to refill our water and were very professional and attentive.

Good foods, friendly service, nice view of the golf course! I would go back there again any time!

Been here many times and it doesn't disappoint. Servers are always great. Makes it such a great experience. Solid great tasting food. Mixed drinks are always mixed right and well done. Great place for anniversaries or birthdays. Such great staff and managers. Awesome ambience as well! Bravo!

I am in town for work and the Stockpot was exactly what I was looking for. Was able to walk in and sit in the bar area at a table where I received prompt and attentive service. It has the ambiance of an old fine dining establishment and had the dark lighting to support. I ordered the NY Strip and it was insanely large and delicious with a great flavorful crust. I gave the option of two desserts for the waitress to pick from and surprise me and I'm so glad she picked the Limoncello cake - it was absolutely phenomenal. I'm not sure when my travels will bring me back through, but until then I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will look forward to a return trip.

Good food, happy hour (food only) all day on Monday. So yay! If you're in the area, a great stop! Odd, but the wedge salad is only a $.05 difference in happy hour vs, full, so order the full for more food...maybe. Onion rings are almost RingSide, but the wasabi sauce, is a no for me. Meatballs were canned soup sauce, but the meat itself was good. But, the pork egg rolls, now there's a great small dish. See menu for prices, I wish I could do a 3.5 here or a 3.75, I'll be back to try again. Service was great, though.

    Beef Stroganoff

Great service, average food, interesting crowd. I had the beef stroganoff, a dish I've had around the world since I was 8 years old. It was college cafeteria level. The portion is huge, and the beef itself was very good, but as a served entree, very average. However, our server was so adorably enthusiastic about it, I couldn't help but love her. Everyone here is super friendly. Great place to bring hungry friends who don't have a particularly distinguishing palate, but want to stretch that dollar.

Ask the Community - The Stockpot Restaurant

Is this place open to the public ? Non-golf club members?

Yes. It's open to the public. Brunch and happy hour are especially busy there

Is there a dress code for Stockpot Broiler? Dark jeans and a button shirt.. would that be ok?

No dress code, but casual to dress casual is good. I've worn shorts there and many golfers eat there as well.

For the past few months or possibly more, there is a server/closing-manager (male Caucasian, glasses, ponytail) who only reluctantly provides the HH menu. About two months ago, I asked when HH started, and he said in 7 minutes (i.e., it was 9:53pm). I asked how much I'd save on the beer I was contemplating if I waited for 7 minutes, and he said a dollar or two, so I told him I'd wait until then to place my order. It seemed like a pretty light day, yet he took a full 20+ minutes to come take our order -- it felt like he was punishing me. Last night, it was 10:10pm and I asked if there was a HH menu. He said "not yet." I thought he meant that they hadn't yet been published, but when I went to the bar to say hi to someone I know, I saw a HH menu already on the bar. I'd already ordered off the regular menu, and chose to not change to something on the HH hour just to avoid the conflict. I have no idea what is inspiring this behavior. Perhaps people who order off HH menus don't tip well? In any case, this new HH attitude has definitely dampened my enthusiasm for Fireside. Which is sad since it still has a great tap list and menu.

When we moved to Oregon, it was under construction but we kept hearing how good it was - in fact, all the local FB pages would gush about it when a newcomer would ask about the best restaurant. And once it finally opened, we tried it, but it was kind of like Marie calendars and Shari's, but local. Ok, but not what we had expected for all the hype. So, after trying a handful of options it seemed Bannings was the only place we could still get breakfast so I begrudgingly agreed. Well, I was mistaken! I got the breakfast enchiladas and a strawberry orange mimosa. Now, the mimosa - I'll get that out of the way first. It was weird - it looked curdled. It just had mashed strawberry at the bottom and it actually was quite good. I'd do a normal mimosa in the future, but good. But the enchiladas - delicious. Like, I'll come back again and again for those. And they didn't charge me extra for the avocado, which I think is righteous because I asked for no hash browns. But not all places would do that, they'd nickel and dime even if you passed on one side for another. Additionally; my husband likes a savory breakfast and a sweet one too - so he often gets two breakfasts and though he may not eat all of both he gets that savory and sweet. Well, the omelettes come with 3 pancakes. Perfection. And, I took 3 bites of them - I usually might try 1 or not at all - they are very very good. Last - it did not break the bank. I've about ruled out breakfast out because of how crazy expensive the places that should be reasonable are. This was reasonable - PLEASE DONT CHANGE!! All in all 5 stars, will be back for breakfast; and hey - when I'm wrong I can admit I was wrong! Give them a try if you haven't!

The last couple times I've visited Portland, my local friend has dragged me along here, and it has been quite satisfying each time. Nothing terribly fancy or nuanced about this joint. Just good food in a family-style diner kind of atmosphere. The Belgian Waffle is always a good choice, in my book. But they have plenty of breakfast scrambles and platters, too. And the burgers here are pretty darn good. But if you are at all in the mood, definitely try their pies. You see them right by the door, tempting you as soon as you walk in. And while my friend can vouch how their Pumpkin Pie is legendary (especially around the autumn holidays), I can say with certainty you want to try their Key Lime Pie! Prices are pretty decent for the portions you get. And service is generally very friendly and prompt, though they can get a little backed up on weekend mornings. Parking is also typically easy. And if the weather is nice, I would recommend taking a seat out on the patio. So yeah, nothing fancy, which is sometimes what you really need. This has become one of our most frequented breakfast stops when visiting PDX, and I can definitely forsee returning.

Whether you're a solo diner or with family, the layout is excellent--I love the cozy 2-person side tables when I'm by myself, and they have great booth seating for groups. The atmosphere is bright, clean, and very welcoming. During my recent stay in Tigard, I enjoyed: * Spicy Wild Shrimp Pomodoro: Perfectly seasoned and delicious. * Penne Bolognese & Chicken Meatballs: They offer gluten-free penne, which is a huge plus! The texture and flavor were spot on. * Cilantro Lime Salad & Roma Tomato Basil Soup: A fresh, comforting, and reliable choice. * Hot Mint Tea: The perfect way to round out the meal. What truly sets this place apart is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly and professional--the kind of service that makes you want to leave a generous tip and keep coming back. ### A few tips for your visit: Beat the Crowd: It gets very busy during weekend lunch hours, and takeout orders can take some time.
