I'm not much for sissy drinks and foofie, yuppie chow... give me a greasy burger, fries and a beer and I'm a happy guy. But this place is what it is and not some place I would be overly interested in patronizing so no minus stars for being true to their mission. So why was I there? A friend wanted to meet for lunch and this is the place she chose. And since the meeting was her idea, she picked up the check so who am I to complain about a free meal? :) I had absolutely zip in common with any of the patrons there but again, no minus stars for that. The owner has clearly identified those types of folks as her core clientele. So good for her. If she can make a go of it offering this venue in Tigard more power to her. Other than that, not much to complain about. The place was clean, eclectic and comfortable. Quiet enough to carry on a conversation. Service was a tad slow but we were not in a hurry so again, no minus stars there. Sangria is way too sweet for me so I stuck with the water which was cold and refreshing :) I had a tiny sandwich that was tasty enough but barely filled the cavities in my teeth. Fortunately I frequently skip lunch altogether due to concerns over becoming overweight again. This is probably not a place to think about going to if you are famished. So in summary, this place was certainly "ok". If you are a greasy Biker like I am you may hate it. If you are more aligned with the types of offerings you'd find here you may well love this place. I'm happy that Old Town Tigard has attracted so many new eateries and businesses after making such a big investment in reviving that area. So Harvest Moon, which if I recall used to be just a food truck, fits right in to this revitalized area. read more

This place was amazing. It's cozy and adorable inside. We sat by the big front window which was nice. I had the flight and all 3 drinks were delicious. For food, we had the "Oh Honneeyy" Benedict and Shakshuka. Both were beyond expectations. The flavor in the Shakshuka was lovely and had just enough spice without being too spicy (I'm sensitive to spice). Very nice staff as well. We will be back very soon! Love this place! read more

Oregon's first sangria bar! I was impressed by the refreshing sangria flavors on the menu. I got the grapefruit and was mesmerized by the flavors. My friend got the strawberry field and it had a delicious mix of strawberry and rosemary. The harvest scramble was mid. I added vegan chorizo and believe that they use field roast as the brand. The servers were friendly. It was very spacious and I liked how it wasn't busy. I'd definitely come back for a drink though! read more

I really wanted to love this place. I first came across this place when it was a food truck and then it was delicious. So, when a brick and mortar opened up in Tigard I was excited. Kept wanting to try this and just did today on my birthday. My friends asked where they could take me and I chose Harvest Moon. I talked it up and said it's a woman owned business that aligns with our beliefs. We arrived at 11:30 and there were only 4 tables occupied. We sat and we waited and waited -no one checked on us . We finally had to ask if we are to order upfront. No we were not she finally came . We ordered some mimosas and they were ok. We also ordered the weekend special the Eggs Benedict with potatoes. We did not get our order for almost an hour. We thought the cook was traveling to a farm or chicken coop! When the food finally arrived it was not impressive. We were also served one bowl of very salty potatoes to share. The dishes were ok we were hungry so we did finish. Nothing to be impressed with. The decor is fine place was clean but not what I expected- something way cuter. I may go back - the saving grace of the day was that I was with my best girlfriends. Food and service is great. Staff has always been very friendly and accommodating. The drinks are AMAZING and somehow they keep getting better everytime I go! Same goes for the food. This place is on the up and up and I suggest you go and check them out. The ambiance can be split in half depending on the time of the day. You can sit on the tables side where the window is and get plenty of sunlight, or go into the back of their building and get some dim vibes with neon lights. read more

Atmosphere- relaxing, edgy, welcoming. There's a boutique next door where you can grab your sangria and browse. The staff were kind and very informative. Food- where to start. All delicious. We had the fondue board which featured a white fondue that was bubbling and creamy. The sausage and pretzel were a highlight. But those crunchy apples were perfection. We also had the grilled cheese board- WOW! Three types of grilled cheese and the creamiest tomato bisque to dip them in. Who would have thought Bleu Cheese, apples, honey,, and green onion would complement each other in a sandwich. And the parmesan crusted grilled cheese was fantastic. Sangria- get the flight. What a treat. We tried six different flavors and they all made us reminisce about our summer Spain vacation. We highly recommend spending a relaxing meal here. We will be back and bring others. The sangria menu was great! And they let our party of 7 order four flight tasters so we could try every option. Some of the food was excellent, as a vegetarian I should have asked if they had more meat substitutes. After eating we wandered next door to the clothing shop which was also excellent, run by a couple of very nice ladies with great choices. Will go again! read more

A must visit if you are in Tigard. The menu of sangrias was a little overwhelming until the owner gave me recommendations. Amazing deal getting the flight of three for only $25. Flavors were creative, fresh, and amazing. Only complaint is that the restaurant was too accommodating and friendly about us sitting around forever talking, and these drinks are meant to be consumed while still cold. Chef was spectacular. We shared four plates among us and each left you wanting more. They were definitely dishes where you don't try to eat individual components, but instead the dish as a whole and as presented had multiple complimentary flavors. Nothing is indicative of an amazing chef as much as knowing how to create a dish based on different flavor profiles coming together in one bite. Perhaps my favorite thing is that the food was served by the chef and the bar was handled by the owner, and both were so gracious and appreciative of the patronage, that I felt like a welcome guest. The only complaint I have is that I'd be hard pressed to call this place a tapas bar. As a lover of tapas, the shareable options were few, and I'd expect at least 7 or 8 clearly shareable small plates to consider it a tapas bar. But it's semantics. This place is awesome. I tried four of their sangrias and loved every single one. The flight pours are generous, the regular glasses are generous. The fondue was killer, and the hash was amazing! We went in the middle of the afternoon, and so for most of our time it was just the two of us, but even when more people showed up we still felt appropriately doted on and taken care of. And as someone with food allergies and restrictions I felt well taken care of. It was a dream! The place is very funky, with great plants, and fun chairs that were also comfortable! Which is a relief as not every cute chair is nice to sit in. All in all, it was awesome, and I cannot wait to bring more friends back! read more

Brunch at Harvest Moon was calling our name! As a resident of Tigard I always try to support new businesses which is what lead us to try Harvest Moon for brunch. We arrived at 10:30 (opens at 10) on Saturday and we got the last open table. We ordered the honeydew and pina sangria. They were both so flavorful and delicious. I am typically not a Sangria drinker but both of these not only looked amazing but surprised the heck out of me. The flavor combinations were perfect, light zippy and a great summer cocktail. We also tried the watermelon and it also delivered. The kitchen took awhile to serve but as a new business and getting their footing I don't blame them. We waited over 45 minutes and the owner comped us a round of sangrias because of the wait. Not necessary but very much appreciated. The burrito and breakfast sandwich was chefs kiss but the avocado toast needed a little more oomph! It tasted good but just needed more of everything. This place is amazing! The staff was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. The space was open and fun with great music lightly in the background. The menu is super approachable both food and drinks. They've got a nice selection on the food menu. Vegetarian options and carnivores are welcome, A little something for everyone. We had the nachos which was on special and delicious. We also got the Turkey Curry Wrap and it was fantastic as well! They stay true to their program as Sangria is the only drink option but they don't let that limit their flavor profiles. They sangrias were amazing!
