Unfortunately, both items were somewhat stale. Since it was only $1.23, I thought perhaps I bought them from a discounted day (or more) old section. I was looking at the doughnuts and she assured me they were fresh, so I decided to purchase one. It was 61¢. Not only was the doughnut fresh, it tasted really good. It was far better than any doughnut that I have gotten from Dunkin Donuts--l haven't gotten a fresh doughnut from them in about 25 years. And that is at any Dunkin Donuts.
