The staff was amazing and friendly and felt very welcome from the entrance to checking out. Prize was good to be honest and the food was really good. Tom's Place Pancake House is a solid local business with good pancakes. The pancakes are pretty tasty, and the staff were very nice and accommodating. The menu is a normal breakfast menu with the focal point being pancakes. I settled on getting a traditional stack which was pretty huge. The taste of the pancakes reminded me of a funnel cake. My brunch companion got the seasonal flavor pancake which was the orange marmalade. This stack was little excessive with the amount of whip cream and orange marmalade on the top, so I don't recommend that. I enjoyed brunch overall, but I would probably advise to stick with the traditional stack if you like more of a traditional breakfast. My preference is to keep it simple when it comes to breakfast. read more

Arrived at 1:00 today but the grill closes at 12:55 per the sign on the door and the restaurant closes at 2. Do they close at 1 or 2? If they close at 2, why shut the grill down at 12;55? I have been here multiple times for breakfast. The only issue I have is if you want to do a pick up order, there have been times that they say they are too busy to honor the order. I wasn't going to write but after seeing another review about the closing time I need to share our experience. Why? We were turned away at 12:50. I explained we did drive a distance and there was an empty table. My thought is if you think this is an acceptable practice, offer your guests a coffee to go, a pastry or a gift certificate. We came in, everything was good, then it wasn't. I ordered a breakfast with sausage as the side. Once it came, the sausage was severely undercooked. The lady who's normally at the front came over when I was trying to get it switched out and alert them of this. She got an attitude, went to talk to the kitchen, then came back and said, "Next time, ask for it to be double cooked" .......she said this as if I was suppose to know and proceeded to say where they get them from, etc. She was rude and I just packed up my food and left.
