The fish and chips were crunchy and delicious. The fish tacos were filled with large chunks of Mahi Mahi that were seasoned nicely. They were topped generously with pineapple salsa and sauce. Lol, the food was okay--and everything else was slightly mind-boggling. We asked for more time to order, and the waiter basically disappeared on us. It's a nice clean space with moderate noise levels based on the diners. I really wanted to like this place, but.... I've had two underwhelming experiences and there isn't much that would bring me back. The menu is average. Nothing stands out and the wings and tacos are just okay. Nothing bad, but definitely not memorable. The same goes for the cocktails and beer selections. On the flip side, the staff is friendly and hospitable and the renovations are lovely. My suggestion would be to highlight and improve upon a few key dishes. You need a signature dish, a go to. Decent place located in Wyndmoor, PA--just outside of northwest Philadelphia and directly to the east of the Chestnut Hill neighborhood. Located along a nice corridor of businesses, this spot offers both an indoor seating area and a separate "garage-like" area with a large door that can be opened when the weather is pleasant, allowing the outdoors to be brought inside. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the food comes out quickly. While the food isn't something to rave about, it's good, and it would fit most palates. The menu is more on the simple side, which I appreciate. Nothing is more confusing and distracting than an overly complex menu. We enjoyed sharing the house nachos as an appetizer. The pickled red onions and jalapeños (which started out sweet and ended with a bit of heat) were great additions to the dish. My entree, the lump crab BLT, was perfectly portioned, and the fries were fresh and hot. It's always nice to have options when dining out in the Wyndmoor neighborhood. read more

Late Saturday afternoon. Stopped in for two beers with my wife to watch the Phillies. Sat at the bar. No hello from the bartender, and he seemed like he was in an extremely bad mood. A lot of yawning and heard him complaining that he spent more time there than at home. He had no interest in interacting with us and did not want to be there. We may try the food sometime, but certainly would not want to sit at that bar again to watch the Phillies. Felt uncomfortable. read more

On a super gloomy and rainy evening in February me and a few other moms stopped by here after bedtime to catch up and enjoy some drinks and check out the new space and we were very pleased. It was welcoming, clean, and more upscale than we were expecting. The long bar was a lovely spot to setup for the evening and the bartender was so kind and attentive to us. The burger should have been cooked with a sear and please add some flavor. Vegetarians LOVE flavor. The pizza cheesesteak lacked flavor too. Upon biting into it, the flavor is mild tomato. We couldn't taste the meat at all, nor the cheese. Please add more flavor to your sauce. The chips were crisp and flavorful----nicely done. For $32, I'd opt to go to a fast food restaurant. Nice clean place. Food was good and drinks were fine. Here was my issue. The menu stated my hamburger was $17 and my girlfriend's veggie burger was $13 but on the bill I was charged $20 for the hamburger and $17 for the veggie burger. On a whim, we decided to stop int for a quick bite but were delighted to find the happy hour from 4-6 every day. Sat at the bar. Adam, the bartender was friendly and great with suggestions on food choices. Food was delicious and high quality. cocktails were expertly mixed and great. Then started bring your own Rita's from the Rita's next door. Another customer brought some flavors and she graciously shared and we sampled alongside her some different mixes. It was awesome. I've had a few things at stokesberry I've had the wings I've had one of their hamburgers I've had a cheeseburger. What I can say about this is that it is extremely overpriced The wings the wings have to be fair are about average and price $10 for six wings isn't out of the ordinary. The hamburger on the other hand which is a smashburger done pretty well but it comes with absolutely nothing there they don't even give you chips. Same thing with the steak sandwich it basically it's steak sandwich and a basket not even potato chips no french fries nothing and it's not they're not cheap The hamburger I believe was $15 and the steak sandwich was about the same.
