My first visit was to buy dessert for dinner at a friend's house. We were all blown away with the taste and presentation of the pastries/cakes. The second visit was for Easter brunch sweets. Along with georgeous sweets, there were delicious savory pastries as well. I had NO idea this place even existed. It's been in Oneonta for four years!!! If you want to be impressed, try this place. This was my second visit to Kings Kakery, but my first in their new location. Right on Main St in Oneonta, this is a must stop at for anyone. The vibe was very welcoming and the staff very friendly. I loaded up on an assortment of goods to try on my trip home. The most noteworthy treats were the mini macaroons. I couldn't resist. I tried vanilla, chocolate, lemon, and blueberry. My boyfriend's words were "I've had macaroons from Boston to Tokyo and all over the the Northeast. These are the best macaroons I've ever tasted." We particularly enjoyed the blueberry and lemon. They're also incredibly beautiful with extreme care put into each one, adding garnishes to the tops. We ate those immediately and debated going back to clean out the case. These are heavenly and I wholeheartedly recommend them. Another favorite was the chocolate covered strawberries. They used large, sweet, ripe strawberries and obviously had made them recently, as the chocolate had no condensation and the strawberries had not become overripe. If you're buying these, enjoy quickly. You will not regret stopping into to Kings Kakery. I know I'll be here every time I travel to Oneonta. read more

Awesome place. The town of Oneonta needed a bakery. This place was Caribbean infused and they not only sell deserts, but they also sell food. The prices were very reasonable and the people working there were very nice and accommodating. The inside was very clean and updated. The workers kept walking out with fresh pastries as I was standing there. The cupcakes, croissants, and etc. were tasty. Will be returning soon. read more

This is a family run bakery. They are a litile all over the place but in a very good way. They have featured huge scrumptious scones, sfogitatelle, and french macaroons (amongst so much more). They also sometimes offer caribean dishes for lunch/ dinner. I highly recommend visiting them. read more

King's Kakery is a wonderful bakery on Main Street in downtown Oneonta. From chocolate cinnamon buns and pineapple pound cake to bacon cheddar and chive scones. Everything is delicious and the owner and her daughter are so friendly and inviting. If you have not visited King's Kakery you're missing out on one of the best destinations in town. Yum! read more

Slow service did not taste good. Their frosting taste like butter. Their cupcakes are dry as shit. Not good. I would not recommend.
