We had searched for a while to find a caterer, and really scored by finding Brian! He's not only an experienced chef, but because he's local to the North Conway area, he could prepare food in his own commercial kitchen and bring it to our venue. This eliminated the need to bring in a portable kitchen, and dramatically decreased the catering cost compared to other caterers we talked with. He offered so many extras other caterers don't - plates, flatware, sign boards, etc. - all of which would otherwise need to be rented, that it really reduced the cost and simplified the whole process. I can't recommend Brian enough. He's a professional, talented chef, a great resource for planning an event, and a nice guy!

My review is as follows: Customer service is excellent, they answer all questions thoroughly and promptly. They arrived early, efficiently set up and left when done without a trace. They handled all 68 of our guests with ease and a smile. The food truck is very clean and adorable with lights and a light up Crepe sign. They supply all utensils, crepe holders and napkins. Bryant is an executive chief and it shows in his crepe selection, presentation and how delicious they ALL are.(You will have a hard time deciding) They can customize crepes(even gluten free). They even have a kids option, Peanut Butter and Fluff(A New England favorite). Portions are generous and fairly priced. Patti went the extra mile. About half an hour before they were done serving, she went around to see if anyone wanted more crepes, as hostess I really appreciated this. All 68 guests loved the Tin Can Co. Crepes Food Truck. We've been getting ice cream almost every day and trying to get out ice cream from locally owned ice cream shops. Here in Conway we had been going to Trails End Ice Cream which serves up locally made ice cream with HUGE portions. On this particular day we had stopped at a local bakery to get some cupcakes and since Ben and Jerry's was located next door, we decided we would just get ice cream there. We lined up all the kids to place their orders but were shocked when they pulled out one micro cup and put the smallest scoop of ice cream in it that I had ever seen. On top that they wanted to charge over $6 for that mini scoop. We paid for the one scoop and quickly left and made the five minute drive to Trails End Ice Cream where the super mega scoop is only $4 and a double scoop (which is over a pint of ice cream) is only $6. I'm not complaining about the quality of the ice cream at Ben and Jerry's, but the super small portions are way overpriced, particularly when a much better alternative (Trails End Ice Cream) is only five minutes away. Save your money and avoid this particular Ben and Jerry's and drive down to Trails End Ice Cream and get freshly made local ice cream at reasonable prices.

We had already discussed that I would be renting china, linens, etc and he had no problem with it. Then out of the blue, he wrote back saying that he "tried but could no longer work with me" on this. He couldn't accept outside food and couldn't do our function for the same price now that it was "formal." Now, I hadn't actually spoken to him in weeks, so saying that he tried to work with me was bogus. We certainly could have worked out the appetizer situation (I can understand where he's coming from), but we hadn't changed anything on the menu and somehow he now couldn't work within our budget because we were "changing" it to formal (based on our renting china and linens). He sent my deposit back without even calling me to discuss, with less than two months until the wedding, leaving us scrambling to find someone who was available on short notice. Personally, I think he found a better paying job and decided to take it, despite having accepted and cashed my deposit check more than two months prior. Highly unprofessional and certainly unethical. What also bothered me was that I would email him a list of questions and he would always call to answer them, so I would then have to pull up my email, copy it to a word doc, then jot down notes regarding all of his answers. He didn't like email. However when it came time to drop us, he chickened out and sent an email. Not even the courtesy of a call to try to work it out, or even just to explain himself. Stay away...
