The set up of this salon is completely different from others. First off they don't have a…read morereceptionist. You walk in and there is a sign on the wall asking for customers to have a seat in waiting area. One row of seats is blocked off by a wall, and another is blocked by a wall of products the client can purchase. There are many stylist chairs but only 2 stylist were in. Once I walked in I stood awkwardly in the middle of the waiting room looking for a receptionist table or a sign in sheet and nothing. I didn't have an appointment and was looking to set one up, or see if they could accept me as a walk in. (They had a walk-in welcome post on their door). I did find a sign on a wall that asked for clients to take a seat. I found a seat and started to look at work emails. During this time another client walked in and was greeted and asked to sit down with a stylist. I figured she had an appointment. After a couple minutes of work related dozing off I got a phone call that made me look at the time and had me realize I had been waiting for 40 mins. Still not a single "hey how can we help you". Nothing. At this point I stood up thinking maybe they hadn't seen me. Stood in the middle and still.... Nothing. I walked out. While opening the door I realized they had a beep when the door opened so I know they could hear when I walked in or walked out. Complete waste of time. Stylist should be aware of who walks in and maybe try greeting them.

It was 5:26 when she finally called me back but even then she still had to clean her station and made no apology or even acknowledged that I had been waiting almost half an hour. Not sure why she had made an appointment available to book at 5 when she really wouldn't be available until almost 5:30, very poor planning and disrespectful to someone's time. Since the appointment said it would be 5-5:30 I had planned to be done around 5:30, not starting at that time. I've been here a few times with other stylists and have had great experiences with them but after this never going here again and definitely don't recommend Natalie if you value your time and someone who respects it. I go to salons in the area frequently and have never had to wait almost 30 minutes for an appointment, that's unacceptable anywhere. RESPONDING TO OWNER: I never said you should skip sanitizing before me. I mentioned that because it was already 5:26 and by the time you would be done cleaning your station it would have definitely been 5:30 or later. Just because you are running late with your current client doesn't mean you should disrespect the next clients time with no communication whatsoever about how late you're running. When I got there no one mentioned you were still with a client or that it would take 30 minutes, otherwise I would have rescheduled on the spot. Not sure what was wrong with my "tone" when all I said was I couldn't wait 30 minutes and had to go. I already took time out of my schedule to be there for the time I booked the appointment and was on time and respected YOUR time but you did not care about mine. Anyone would be frustrated at how this situation was handled and the lack of accountability in the response isn't surprising. If it were the other way around and I was 30 minutes late to my appointment that she was on time for with no communication or heads up whatsoever I'm sure Natalie would have felt disrespected with her time as well!
