What an amazing experience at the Sundial Restaurant! The views of Atlanta from the top of the Westin Peachtree are absolutely stunning - the 360 view from the 72nd floor of this restaurant makes it even more special. The food was delicious, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. Our server who was also the Chef and the other staff was friendly, attentive, and really made it enjoyable. Perfect spot for a special night out - great food, great service, and unforgettable views. Highly recommend!

This experience was absolutely stunning. The 360 degree view of Atlanta has truly given me a new perspective and appreciation for the city. The staff go above and beyond, from the time to checked in, to being seated and my fantastic server Judeen took such good care of me the whole time and was so knowledgeable about the city and the surrounding buildings. Though I only anticipated having a cocktail, which was delicious, I ended up having a variety of small plates with were so fresh, I couldn't stop eating. Not to mention, I wish I could bottle the fig butter up and take is home. This is definitely a spot you have to go to at least once if you can...and make sure you book right at sunset!

The elevator ride up 72 floors is quite the view. If you're afraid of heights like my partner you should stay near rather elevator doors. The view from the restaurant is a spectacular view of Atlanta. Note the restaurant doe NOT spin. So, if you are up to enjoy the sunset at for dinner make sure they seat you on the west side otherwise you will not see it. We had the Southern Fried Calamari with Pickled Okra and cherry peppers. They were good. I then had the Seared Day Boat Scallops with Brussels and my partner had Pumpkin Ravioli. Both dishes were very good. The meal was good but at least double the price I have payed for similar dishes for the view.

My boyfriend surprised me on our anniversary and brought us here for dinner. They were originally going to sit us in front of one of the poles that blocked our view (which I wasn't a fan of). I can see a regular sitting there or someone who's been before but it being our first time and our anniversary wasn't the wisest decisions for seating. My boyfriend immediately asked for a different seat without a blocked view. Our server was nice and had a nice sense of humor. I really liked the charred octopus but me personally I could have done without the hummus. The sauce carried the dish in such a good way. Either way I'd get it again. The scallops and Brussels dish was absolutely delicious. The halibut was very delicious too. The cheesecake was perfection. We definitely plan to come back in the future to try more dishes and drinks.

From now on, I'm going to seek out rotating bar in every city I visit Suggested by friends, the experience of a cocktail at the Sun Dial was terrifically delightful. The views were breathtaking, as one might expect. The bartenders were welcoming and our server had a fun personality and kept an eye on us to be sure we always had what we needed. This experience convinced me I need to seek out the bar on the highest floor of every city I visit!

We came here with some coworkers for a late lunch. Beware! You need reservations (even if it's slow) AND, you must order an entree (minimum of $60)! Our waiter, Mike, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered 3 orders of charred octopus for appetizers ($35 each). For our entrees, three of us ordered the sea bass (a bit expensive at $77). The fourth person ordered the filet mignon with a side of mushroom risotto. Unfortunately Mike forgot about the risotto. But, the steak was good, not amazing. Also, incredibly expensive at $88 with NO sides?!? I think you're paying for the view. I had 2 glasses of wine. The others had cokes. Altogether our bill was $500 before tip ($590 after tip). You can go to the bar without a reservation and they have a small menu. The company paid for our meal. If we were paying out of pocket, I wouldn't come here. Only because we had a great view from our room (stayed in the hotel), and the restaurant is very overpriced.

I had been here a few times in the past. It's definitely changed. The restaurant no longer rotates, but does have beautiful views. The menu is classic and standard, ordered the steak which was well prepared. Mac n cheese was delicious as well. I enjoyed my food and the service. One observation was they were placing people next to one another when there were plenty of other tables that were open, that could have kept the intimacy for groups.

This was a great choice. Please note you are going to the 77 floor. We first hit the bar area and it was fun and the drinks are spot on. The bartender couldn't have been better. He made us laugh and kept us engaged. Our dinner was incredible and the waitstaff was on their A game.

Let's start with the food. It was divine! We had the lobster tail, crabcake, asparagus, Cesar salad and truffle Mac and cheese Very delicious food and the waitress was lovely However, we experienced some challenges. We had reservations for my sister's birthday and it was our first time so we had high hopes. Please note it no longer spins and no one says why. Also we were told you MUST order an entree to dine there. We weren't interested in the menu at all but did get the accompaniments instead to make a meal. Our drinks were tasty but no alcohol was present. I didn't mind just rather had paid for a mocktail vs $22 drink. A few other things happened but it is what it is. The best part was we witnessed an engagement right in front of us! It turned things around. The was the beautiful and priceless moment in addition to the elevator ride. That was fun!

First and foremost - If you've never been here I highly recommend coming at least once. We ordered the calamari and scallops. The scallops were really good. We also ordered the ceaser salad. We sent it back, I recommend them upgrading the quality of the ceaser. It's a nice restaurant, have a nice ceaser.

Honestly overrated - pricing is 100% based on the view. You are absolutely paying for the view, not the food. The steak was not anything to write home about - just a generically "good" filet but nothing I haven't had before. The standout, however, is the bread and the amazing maple butter - it was fantastic. Service was fine, nothing wrong on that front. I guess I just expected more, food quality wise, considering the pricing (the is basically a $90 filet). I had hoped for a "new" experience or something more inventive for that pricing - rather this was just a "nice" restaurant with a "great" view. If you want something safe with a beautiful view then this is for you - anything beyond that maybe pass.

I enjoyed my first time here it was really nice. Service was great . Drinks and food was great. If took me awhile to realize we were actually moving . We sat at the bar and it wasn't crowded at all .

Enjoyed a wonderful date night here. The calamari was amazing and the entrees were as well. I ordered the short rib and my boyfriend ordered the lamb chops. Our waitress and evening staff were very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend!

Can I go to this restaurant with a baby?

No, you cannot visit this restaurant with a baby. The restaurant and view do not allow children under the age of 12 to dine or visit there.

So does the restaurant revolve again or no?

    I don't think so :(

What is the dress code? I'm with a business group and a few are in jeans/T-shirt from an event..

Agreed! You don't need to dress up. Some people do, but they are usually going to prom or some sort of formal afterwards.

Does the room still rotate? If not, is it still worth it?

Hello Gary, no unfortunately it does not rotate anymore. HOWEVER, the view is worth it ! For sure !

What day is the live jazz?

I think it was a Tuesday when we went. They were pretty good. I enjoyed them and I'm not much for jazz.

Now that it has reopened (June 2017), does it still rotate?

    No

When you walk in the mood is instantly set with by the low ambient lighting and decor. Being that the theme & cuisine is Asian fusion, they really put a lot of effort into transporting to visually to an Asian oasis. We were seated at a table in the main dining area, but there's also a full bar with ample seating and very nice view. The seats were very comfortable and the tables are spaced in a way for intimacy. They also have music playing the background & the playlist was diverse with music ranging from K-Pop to R&B. Now on to our meal! The menu is pretty straight forward and broken down into apps/small plates, mains/big dishes, and a separate menu for cocktails. To start off we got drinks: lychee martini 10/10 & "cucumber salad" 8/10. Both were very good. The ingredients used make the drinks very intriguing and definitely something you've probably never tasted. It's suggested to keep an open mind when trying their cocktails. For food we had the shrimp wontons 10/10 (sauce was so good ... a little spice to it), the salt and pepper shrimp 8/10 (a little salty but fried well), the Thai basil fried rice 10/10 (the fried egg on top and the pickled cabbage was a great touch), and last the lobster pot 10/10 (presentation alone would make me go back to visit ... this dish was so good and flavor full). Overall my experience was great and I would definitely make it a priority to visit when I come back.

I came here on Aug 6 for My Birthday. But before that I called on Aug 3 to inquire about…read morereservations and the GM Dante was so nice and accommodating. He assured me that my request for an non-tradtional dinner reservation could be fulfilled. He also informed me that they offered 2 hour parking validation in the 1010 parking deck. So I made reservations for the 6th from 630p-1100p. That particular day they also had a love band. So Dante reserved the high top bar tables for me which was 4 that sat upto 8 ppl. It was perfect b/c when I got there I had 1 friend waiting and then as we ordered food and drinks more ppl came through, and then some left and that was throughout the night. It was perfect. No waiting on opl not splitting bills just come enjoy buy what you want and leave when you want. The set up was EXACTLY what I wanted. SERVICE: Starting with the phone call to make the reservation Dante the GM was really nice an accommodating as I mentioned. I just hate I didnt get to meet him, b/c that day was his one day off. But nevertheless he had everything don't just the way i asked and I was grateful for his attentative nature. We had Yaz as our server and she was amazing to say the least! She was attentative and made sure everyone that came in was properly taking care of. She was personable and quite friendly which isn't that common these days. With everyone wanting a tip for bare minimal service it was refreshing to see someone who seemed to like her job and did it with ease and was on top of her game, so there for she deserved th3 tips she made from us that night. I didn't pay for anything (hence it being my bday), and I still tipped her. That's how good she was. And when I go back I will definitely ask for her section. The hist that checked us in, I believe his name was Mike. He was also very nice. There was a table next to pur high top tables and I asked if my mom could sit there and he said sure as long as they didn't need it, b/c my mom couldn't get up on the barstools that good. And so her and another friend's mom sat there. So worked out perfect AMBIANCE: The restaurant itself was really nice. I enjoyed every part. It was loud and the band was nice. At first on the appearance of the band I didn't know what to expect, but all in all they played a variety of really nice music and it wasn't over powering like they thought they were at a concert like most bands in restaurants. FOOD/DRINKS All I can day here was it was all soo very good. All of my friends were impressed and every person stated how they would have to come back b/c it was so nice. The drinks the food everything. I dont think Iate one thing I didn't like. Only thing I had that I mentioned to the server Yaz was that the octopus tail was a bit chewy amd that's it. The drinks were AMAZING. For me it is all about presentation and the had great presentation and tasted as good as they looked. One drink called the Good Time Girl was soo good and it came out with all these bubbles. It was amazing. They had a appetizer special 3 for $39 and me and a friend order 2 and so we tried 6 different things and it all was good. We had the calamari, grilled octopus tail, chicken wings, lettuce wraps, mussels, and oysters. It was ALL SOO YUMMY! We had a great time and it was perfect for how I wanted to celebrate. I would definitely come again hands down. The only downfall was that night the parking for 2 hours wasn't working properly so I parked on the street, but that wasn't the fault of the restaurant that was something with the garage I suppose.‍ So I definitely recommend this place. It's good for date night, hangout, drinks or a light bite. You won't be disappointed.
