The main part of the house is very small but nice with little stocking of the beverage "amenities". First impression of the room was disappointing for several reasons but the main first impression was that it was not cleaned well nor do the owners care if it's cleaned well. The bathroom was the first real impression where a filthy shower mat hung on the towel rack, the hand towel had crust on it and a dried, unwashed blood stain on the comforter. iTrip, who is "managing" this place was very prompt about returning my emails UNTIL I responded to THEIR email asking about my stay. Crickets. I'll include photos. There are plenty of other gorgeous places to stay in Lincoln....don't give your money to Red Sleigh Inn.

Please read about the changes…read more We booked the Red Sleigh Inn seven months ago because we were planning a trip to the area and we love B&Bs and have stayed at many. What attracted us to this facility was its outstanding reputation. However, exactly one week (7/11/22) before we were supposed to arrive, we received an email that Red Sleigh was under new ownership and there were going to be changes. We could not cancel because it was less than 30 days. Here are the changes: 1. Nobody would be at the facility to greet you. Nope, no personal friendly greeting to welcome you like we were used to in the past. They sent you a passcode for the front door and your room. You have to call a property managing company if there is an issue. 2. You receive ONE set of towels per person for stay. We stayed three days and originally only got one washcloth, one hand towel, and one bath towel per person, until we complained and we each got a second set. 3. NO BREAKFAST ANYMORE!!! I guess they left off one B in B&B. They did give us a voucher of $20 a day for the Moon Cafe to get a small breakfast. I do not know if this service is going to continue. We got it because we booked before the change. The room was clean. There was a coffee station and candy station which were kept full by attendants who showed up daily to clean vacated rooms. If you like the AirBnB experience while sharing the facility with other couples, then by all means enjoy. We prefer the true B&B experience with the home cooked breakfast and somebody there to greet you.

Our Madison Room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable with a four post bed. Dave and Karen are outstanding Innkeepers who make you feel like family, Dave's hearty homemade breakfasts with homemade French toast with orange cream butter, and hot bread pudding. East to check in as Karen just hands you the Key; no rules, no directives, no signs, just have a good time. Good Parking, and all the rooms had mini-splits air conditioning. Three fireplaces made of bright Italian tiles, with real hardwood floors throughout. Perfectly located for exploring Littleton, Bethlehem, and the Mount Washington area, this is a place we will be returning in January. Highly recommended!

Even had fresh local scones from the secret bakery in Wolfeboro. One thing should be mentioned. They have 6 dogs on the property. If you don't like dogs or are allergic, this is not the place for you. But for me, it was great. I love dogs. There were well behaved and the whole property is invisible fenced, including the inside. You don't have to worry about them going into your room. All in all, this place is great. I would highly recommend Lake View Inn. It's the perfect lake regions B & B.

Then step inside where you find a very comfortable living room and the most beautiful stone fireplace I have ever seen! Most of the rooms have beautiful scenic views of the lake. I have a question though, is there such a thing as a million thread count sheet or pillow case? Because I think this place has them, I have bad shoulders and this was the best sleep I had in years!! That's why I was able to get up early and watch the sunrise and enjoy an excellent breakfast on the porch prepared by the owner himself, thanks Al! Last but definitely not least Al's wife Pamela is just the nicest person, making everyone feel as relaxed as if you were in your own home, she is full of ideas for all your local needs from dining to local recreation. The inn was cozy and charming, and Monty and Rebecca were gracious and attentive hosts. They take such pride in their inn, and it shows. The inn itself is well-maintained and beautiful, the rooms are charming and cozy (and some with spectacular views of the lake!), and the amenities throughout were ample. The sheets were divine and so soft; it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The large living room downstairs was the perfect spot to relax by the stunning fireplace and play board games from their many options of games, puzzles, and magazines. There is a selection of coffee and tea in the dining room available any time, and every afternoon fresh, warm chocolate chip cookies are put out. They were delicious and we enjoyed quite a few! In the warmer months, there is a beautiful front porch overlooking the gazebo and waterfront area. The breakfast was fantastic and lovingly made. We were treated to a three-course breakfast in the dining room served by Monty with fresh juices and coffee/tea. First fruit, followed by a delicious pumpkin bread, followed by the main dish. At check-in, they asked about our dietary needs and preferences based on the upcoming menu and catered to our needs. It was excellent and we left breakfast stuffed! Monty was a truly kind and hospitable host and we enjoyed talking with him during our stay. He was even so kind to leave out a few things to go since we departed early before breakfast. Overall, I highly recommend staying at The Lake House at Ferry Point while in town or making a trip for a weekend of beautiful views and relaxation. Have stayed here about 4 times over the past few years visiting our children at summer camp. The owners, Janet and Doug, are wonderfully friendly and charming folks who I have really enjoyed getting to know. Their home is a lovely old farm house with a great deal of charm; lots of antiques, some low ceilings, creaky floors, antique locks on the doors, etc. The rooms are small, but comfortable. You'll find a few cob webs and a little dust, but this is a trifle. Janet makes a cooked-to-order breakfast often asking what you'd like the night before. She is an excellent cook. The best part of a visit to the Inn is the idyllic backyard (see photo) which is immaculately kept and is stunningly beautiful. It is quite relaxing and serene. Sit and listen to to the quiet. Once you sit down and take in the view, you do not want to move. There is also a screened-in porch for those wishing to avoid the sun and flying annoyances. The property also has access to a nearby pond which is a short walk via a path through the woods across the street. Canoeing and rowing is possible, or simply sit and take in the water view and others enjoying the lake. The Meadow Farm Bed and Breakfast is a lovely oasis.

Many items were really unique and very tasty....I am a big coffee fan and they serve french press. We stayed in the canopy room and enjoyed every inch of the historic house and furniture. The property is relaxing and fun especially visiting the two horses on the property. Make sure you take a short walk through the woods o find the lake with a wonderful view. Already planning the next visit!

We sat outside in the afternoon to enjoy some mid September sun in the chairs that were available. This is a very old house with high ceilings and big spacious rooms, which makes up for the tiny bathroom. There is a very nice gift shop maybe 1/2 mile down the road (Vickie's) and we were able to do some shopping and have a great lunch in Cornish about 1/2 hour drive away. Limerick is a very friendly little town and the B&B is a great place to unwind.

We first stayed here in May 2019 on the night my husband and I got engaged. We got engaged at the top of a multi-pitch rock climbing route in Rumney. Our families live far away, so we actually FaceTimed them from this Inn to share the news of our engagement with them. We went to The Last Chair next door for a celebratory dinner then had a lovely night at this Inn to enjoy our first night as an engaged couple. We came back to the Northeast last week for a wedding and spent a couple of days up in NH to do some hiking in the White Mountains. Now that it has been 5 years since our engagement, we thought it would be fun to stay here again to reminisce! We remembered Kevin right away--he is the most friendly and generous host. He makes you feel so welcome like you are family as soon as you arrive. We probably spent a couple hours talking with Kevin throughout our stay, he is just so wholesome and kind. He puts a lot of effort into adding special touches around the Inn to make it extra charming. Afternoon wine/cheese, a fridge filled with beer and waters, a coffee/tea station, freshly clipped roses in every room, chocolates and a cute quote on the bed, a guestbook to sign in your room, robes to wear. Not to mention the gourmet breakfast he makes for you in the morning! Ours was a fruit starter followed by homemade vanilla bean belgian waffles with hand carved local smoked bacon. There's also a hot tub outside that you can use. We came on a weeknight when the Inn wasn't very busy, so Kevin upgraded our room for free! We had such a lovely time here and really enjoyed coming back 5 years later. This place sets the bar high for a Bed & Breakfast--you get all the history (from the building to the stories of those who have lived there), beautiful grounds, a host with tremendous hospitality, and so many little things that add up to make this an unforgettable place to stay. Looking forward to our next visit when we are back in NH someday!
