The fish here is nice and soft perfect texture and taste. They are a newer restaurant so the service was extremely slow not fun with 2 small children also the booths aren't kid friendly my 2 year old kept falling forward and out her booster. My husband had the dinner box with beef teriyaki the beef was made just right tender and good flavor the kiddos loved it. The only thing was the dressing in the salad was horrible like watered down milk or something I don't get it. I had the Shawdow ridge roll tons of fish and very yummy. My favorites were the salmon and yellow tail nigiri. The kids loved the cali roll and fried tempura. The friend California roll was really tasty love the sauce on there. The restaurant sits next to main road it's very loud and hard to hear much with the music and tvs playing in the back ground. It's feels like a bar not really sure id come back with the kids were super stimulated but I'd love to come here for date night with just the hubby. Really really amazing food. Everything tastes really fresh and rolled with love! We arrived around 8ish and were seated within a couple minutes. There's not a lot of booths but the design inside is so intricate and fun. I forgot the sever/host/superwoman working but she was so lovely. It was a packed room and she was running around by herself doing everything. The wait was long for our food and I know it's because they are short staffed so not their fault. I believe they are getting another sushi chef soon but just know everywhere is short staffed right now so be sure to give everyone in service some patience. The sushi chef also came by and said hello and craved some jokes lol. A very sweet staff! We ordered the Kama salmon and let me tell you I still dream of it. It's served on some greens and a dipping sauce but oh my goodness it is tender! A juicy tender salmon cooked to perfection. Crispy in the right places and just a hint of fatty. I also ordered the hot night roll and that was just as delicious! A little spicy so if you like it hot, give that a try. I plan on ordering the salmon on a weekly basis and taking it home to have with some rice for dinner. You can also order a bowl of rice there as well but up to you! This is not a necessarily bad review. It's a call to correct a behavior. Hear me out. My wife had eaten there before and suggested it. I've been to Japan for business I quickly understood what real sushi should taste like and it's presentation. I also worked and cooked Japanese food and sushi prep as a young man at Ichiban of Japan in LA. Trust me it's different. I'm picky yes, but I also know I'm no longer in Japan. We ordered two rolls and eel. We ordered drinks and waited. Then we waited. The we waited some more . Then waited again.Then I patiently waited some more. After seeing every ones orders come through except ours and at least 35min later I asked the server to please cancel order. What they did not know is that I only had an hour to eat since I had a business meeting to attend right after. I was not going to have enough time to eat and enjoy dinner w my wife. I canceled my orders and something magical happened. Exactly one minute after cancellation my eel was done and put on a bowl ready to serve. My wife's rolls however were still not done. I asked to please cancel. I'd gladly pay for what I consumed and go. She goes back to the kitchen and I suddenly here comes the big boss. You can see his anger 20 feet away and decided to interrogate me on why I didn't want my orders . I gave him my reasons and he wasn't having it. In an very loud and angry voice he explained cooking times. I told him in understood cooking times and plating since I own a restaurant myself. He then in front of my wife and other clients says "what kind of restaurant you have? A burger joint?" At the time I could see his escalation exceeding to a point of diminishing returns. I kept calm and in a very cool and collected fashion I told the man we would just pay and leave. My wife was mortified. What he also did not know is that I own a three thousand square foot restaurant and bar which is well known in Temecula and you cannot get in on Friday nights without advance reservations. There's literally a line after 9pm of people trying to get in. There was only 12 people at his restaurant that night and he still decided to throw a huge tantrum in front of other customers telling me it takes time to cook. Sir, it does not take that long to cook precooked eel dragon rolls and a bowl of rice to put more eel on top. You could have just said "hey we dropped the ball, I forgot or missed the order, I apologize ". We're human, I've had to cancel at my restaurant too. It happens to everyone. However I would never berate clients or embarrass patrons for my mistakes. Server was nice tho, I left a fair tip. Control your anger sir, learn how to take a loss, and even if I had a "burger joint" my wife and I did not deserve your appalling reaction. People that work at burger joints still deserve respect and dignity. My wife wanted to impress me w your restaurant. She did not fail. You did. read more

Absolutely delicious sushi. I ordered the Hamahama Roll and the Salmon lover Roll but I had the chef add some sliced Lemons on top. So delicious! Oh and the soy sauce came cold!!!!! I love it! Normally the restroom is not part.of my review but today I will mention that I love the doors to the stalls. Ladies how many restrooms have a huge gap from the door to the wall??? No privacy right? Well at least in the stall I was in, the door was perfect... closes to the entry. Moving on, they have a large selection of beers, but I didn't try any as it is a school day and well... I'm hoping tonight was a fluke. The food was really good, and our server was nice, but the service was painfully slow. It was not crowded at all, there were only 2 other occupied tables plus it looked like they had a couple of to go orders. It took over 30 minutes to get our drinks, then another 30 minutes before any food came. When it did arrive it was only part of our order. Then it took another 15 minutes for the next part of our order to come, and another 10 minutes for the rest of our order to finally arrive. This place is wonderful! It's really pretty, the food is AMAZING, and the staff is so kind and welcoming. All the girls loved our 10 month old baby girl and were so sweet to her. In corner of strip mall where Lazy Boy Furniture is. There is seating outside and inside. The inside seating is unique as you sit up high. First the Miso. This makes or breaks a place. It was hot, good flavor, and had green onion and tofu in it. Great! The tempora is crunchy and light and tasty dipping sauce. Loved the Korean BBQ Beef and lots of it. I was disappointed in the salad as the dressing was runny and not much taste and the California rolls had lots of imitation crab and avocado but missed the crunch of the cucumber.
