Love this place!! Night Work bread is one of my favorite stops in Ballston Spa! Everything they…read moremake is sourdough-based and you can really taste the difference. The bread is so good!! Great flavor and great texture; and, I appreciate that they use organic ingredients. I actually wouldn't eat there if they didn't. The bagels are honestly amazing. They are the only bagels I will eat because they are organic sourdough (it's the only non-gf I'll eat). They are crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, just how a bagel should be! Whenever I've ordered a bagel and cream cheese (which is more than a dozen times), they've always been very generous with the cream cheese, which I appreciate! They've also got more than just bread. They sell some local gifts and things: flowers, crocheted items, little crafts, chocolates, etc. Their cookies are soooooooo delicious. We always get at least one to enjoy after we eat our bagels. :-) There is a small sandwich menu (no hot items though - like no hot egg sandwiches, just egg salad). They also serve hot coffee! One tip: Go early. They often sell out of bagels and treats, especially on the weekends! It's just a really solid spot with really good food! Definitely worth checking out! We drive 25 minutes just to enjoy their bagels, bread, and treats!!

Their friendly staff bagged up my everything bagel, onion as well as sesame bagel. When I got them home, I was pleasantly surprised to see how sizable and well seasoned they happened to be. They were crisp with a nice chew as well as soft on the inside. Absolutely delish and I will be back for more!

I happened to stop in on a rainy morning for coffee. They are open early, and I'm pretty sure they…read moreclose by 1pm. Definitely check out their website for business hours before heading over. It's a cute family friendly establishment and they had more tables than I thought. I was pleased to see that they had a wide variety of coffee drinks as well as good bagel and breakfast and lunch options. It was unfortunate that I already had other plans for breakfast, so I only got a large hot mocha coffee to go. Service here was fast and everything seemed to move along smoothly. I wanted to love my hot mocha but I thought it was just okay. The coffee and chocolate flavor didn't have as much depth as what I'd like. Maybe they are known for their other coffee beverages and breakfast and lunch options. I'll have to revisit and grab a bite here next time.

When I explained that I drive by all the time but it was my first time in, they welcomed me and thanked me for my business! They were very gracious when I needed a few minutes to review the menu and answered all my questions with enthusiasm. I just couldn't believe how good the service was! I ordered the Lox bagel sandwich, I believe it is called the Fisherman on a toasted onion bagel with a Chai tea latte. They have an impressive selection of cream cheese flavors available (I chose the bacon scallion) and they loaded my sandwich with delicious fresh veggies! Both my sandwich and my latte were absolutely wonderful! I was honestly shocked how on point everything was! No criticism and no critiques, please just keep up the good work and the food quality and I will be back soon! If you are like me and keep on driving past this place, I highly encourage you to stop in and show this local spot some love!

I recently was able to go try out Leah's, FINALLY! It has taken me a while to get here, but I am so…read moreglad that I did. It was super cute inside! They do have tables to sit and eat at. I just wish that they had a few more as they were all occupied. It is a beautiful thing to have homemade pastry! I ordered the cinnamon bun, the eclair, the ham and Swiss roll, and the spanakopita turnover. Everything was delicious! My favorite thing was the eclair! It was by far the best declare that I've ever had in my life! And I just have to brag on it a little bit because the cream inside has real vanilla bean in it! It's not only real cream, but it's made with real vanilla bean! You can both taste it and see it in the cream once you bite into the eclair. This was just pure perfection. The least favorite thing that I had was the ham and Swiss roll. My only complaint about it really was that it was a little dry because it needed more Swiss cheese inside. It was still beautiful and flaky with a everything bagel seasoning on top and the ham was also good. Unfortunately, there was just no discernible cheese. So I missed that gooey melty center that I was looking for. I also ordered a chai latte, which they also sell as a iced latte option. It was super hot and tasted lovely! I told the girl at the register that this was my first time, she welcomed me, she answered all my questions and was super nice and accommodating. They ask you if your order is for here or to go and they offered to heat up your pastry for you either way if you were going to be eating it immediately. I thought this was a super kind and intuitive Service! See this is why I just love supporting local businesses. Many of the ones around here are top-notch and I would much rather support them than big conglomerates, monopolies and chains that don't care about their customers or quality products, they just care about profit. If you love, good pastry, then please come check out Leah's!
