Look at this huge mountain of delicious nachos! Not sure why this place isn't reviewed better because it is seriously deserving with some delicious and huge the portions are. These double layer nachos were some of the best I've ever had and were so so fresh and tasty. For what you get I'd say it's pretty cheap and they don't even charge extra for different types of meat. The staff were so so sweet and friendly and made sure we got everything we needed. They also seemed to really take pride in their work which was awesome. First off, the service is really great! They are polite, fast l, and efficient. I definitely enjoyed their demeanor. As for the food, I tried their keto taco, low carb taco, and an all meat burrito. I had the asada and pastor. The food overall is actually very good to my surprise. I only say to my surprise because this place is like in a food court. Sometimes I don't expect the food to be too good in places like this, but now and then, there are some really good spots. With that said, despite its location, this is a really good place to get your taco fix, especially if you're on a low carb type diet. Got the authentic Campechano tacos, killer chicken tacos and the chicken burrito. Wow, it was all great! The killer tacos had so much cheese piled on top it was messy to eat, but it was all yummy (luckily I had a fork to get everything that fell out). The meats were super flavorful. I also got a couple of each salsa to try, and I loved them all! I was literally pouring it on every bite, and dipping fries (from another vendor) in it too. First time visiting & ordered the carne asada burrito! Service was good and the ladies were nice and attentive to the customers! Food presentation and overall appearance and cleanliness of restaurant was good! Portion of burrito was also good! Carne asada was tuff & fatty pieces in it that you literally have to spit out or set aside. I watched them take the Carne asada that was already pre cut from a large plastic container and dump it onto the flat grill to warm up! Not sure if previously cooked or came precooked already! But it did not have the grill taste or texture to it! But once spread on the flat grill to warm it up it was soaked down with some type of oil which I am almost certain is not the best for our health (probably canola or vegetable oil) or the meat. I assumed the meats where cooked on the open grill and then sliced fresh to order which is NOT what I witnessed. Sadly this explains why the Carne asada was not tender and lacked flavor. Hope Taco Man changes the cooking process of the meats which would be a game changer. The young girl that was taking our order has attitude when taking our order and thought that she could remember our order. when my order came out it was wrong and I was missing tacos. Really sad how bad the service was for them and having that girl who has a bad memory taking orders. They should write orders down. I did an uber order- I placed specifically for 3 pineapple habanero salsas because it sounded like it would be super great with my Al pastor tacos. Worst burrito I've ever had in my life! That's the only way I found fit to start my review on this unfortunate experience. Lunch time was coming up and I didn't have the time to go out and pick up something to eat. It had been a while since I had tacos or a burrito. So I decided to order from Uber Eats. After looking through the options, I decided that I would give Taco Man a shot. Keep in mind, good tacos or burritos in the area are very scarce. Well let me tell you that I regret going with Taco Man. I decided to order a burrito because tacos for delivery are not a good idea. As tacos are best fresh. First off, why would you make a burrito with white cheese instead of rice? By the way, you have to pay extra for the rice. I guess the lack of rice and the lettuce instead should have been a red flag. But I still gave them the benefit of the doubt. The standard for a burrito is meat, rice, and beans. And if you're going to top the burrito with cheese, make sure the cheese blends well with the meat and toppings. I bring this point up because the cheese did not mix well with the toppings. I'm not sure, but I think it was some cheap Monterey Jack cheese. As you can tell by this point, we are off to a terrible start. The asada meat was from a cheap cut, very bland and chewy with little to no flavor. The only decent topping was the salsa. And by the way, just decent. My conclusion on this taco knock off spot is never again. If you are looking for a taco or burrito spot, steer clear from Taco Man. As they have no legitimate reason to be called Taco Man. KETO TACOS! That's what we came for, and that's what we got! Probably some of the best keto tacos I've had, simply for the fact that the cheese shell was perfectly cooked. It was not burnt nor was it too oily from not being completely cooked through. They make them about the size of a normal corn tortilla, which is cool because I'd be a little mad if they were street taco size. They come in at $3 a pop, which is an excellent price point for what we got in my opinion. I opted for the Campechano, which is a combination of chorizo and asada. My wife had one and a chicken protein style taco. Both were outstanding! Salsa wise, red and green were the way to go. I was hoping the habanero would be good, but I felt it was lacking flavor. The only flavor I tasted was vinegar and habanero, but no pineapple as advertised, and definitely no salt or anything else.
