"Order Online" by mobile NEEDS WORK. Impossible to navigate - any attempt to return to the menu brought me back to the home page to start all over. I've ordered catering multiple times from the Taco Shop for events at my church. They have been excellent to work with. They provide plentiful portions and the food is absolutely delicious. Stopped in for a quick snack to try this spot out. Friendly person behind the counter. Clean and casual space with a fish themed rustic decor. Ordered their citrus grilled chicken taco. It came with a side of green tomatillo salsa. The corn tortilla was tender and tasted homemade. The chicken was plentiful, had fresh grill marks and lots of flavor, approaching the precipice of too salty. I enjoyed the fresh ingredients and tiny tomato pico. These aren't traditional Mexican, more like Tex Mex, but I'd come back and try their other items like their barbacoa tacos and their bowls. read more

FOODIES BEWARE!!! Everyone else, take your chances at will. I LOVE tacos!!! They are one of my favorite foods so when this place opened I was super excited to try it. Unfortunately, there is a tragic lack of quality of food as well as a lack of understanding and knowledge about cooking and flavors. I ordered every taco on the menu to try them all. The fish tacos were just okay. Everything else was pretty bad. The pork taco was inedible! The rice and beans were utterly flavorless. I added all my own seasonings at home to make them taste like something, anything! There were unfortunate side effects after eating this meal as well so I can only assume that the attention to sanitation codes are lacking in the kitchen. This is a real shame! This shop recently opened, so after giving it a month or two to iron things out decided to give them a try. Super glad I did! Ordered the fish burrito - it was very large, the fish was fresh and delicious (not at all greasy), and the rest of the ingredients were super fresh and very flavorful. Good ratio of beans to rice to other ingredients. Tried both the red and green salsas, the red has nice dark pepper depth but the green was a better compliment to the burrito. Only thing I would add to bring it up to five stars as I think about it would be a touch more In the way of traditional Mexican seasonings, but that may be present in the other dishes, which I fully intend to explore. Service was super friendly. They did a great job renovating an old Stewarts into a modern looking space. read more

This place should just focus on fish tacos because it's the BEST thing on the menu. When I say that I mean they are FANTASTIC! I got them because it seems to be the most popular item. I ordered them with the corn tortilla and I wish I had at least three more but I couldn't afford it. There's an up charge for the fish making 3 tacos $19.50 and that's expensive for three tacos and yes it comes with a cup of rice and a cup of beans but those are just filler. We also got the barbacoa beef quesadilla. It was good. They salted the top though and it was a bit too much but not inedible. They don't serve with sour cream but they'll sell you a packet for 60¢ which seemed odd as I've never received a quesadilla without sour cream. They offer you a choice between a house made salsa verde or a hot HOT salsa and there's no plain old salsa. The hot is FIRE HOT and gritty just to warn you. It's not awful but it wasn't what I expected. Don't write this place off. I think they have potential but they still need some work. Fish Tacos. I repeat....try the fish tacos. So good. The service is great, they are very nice and I gave them 4 stars because I think they deserve a better rating than they are getting. read more

Tacos and the Baja Burrito Bowl were impressive, with an abundance of ingredients. A week later, the same choices were lacking in the meat/fish. The Baja bowl had two tiny pieces of fish this time. I finally had the opportunity to order some tacos and I'm glad I did! I ordered the 3 taco combo (barbacoa beef, carnitas pork, citrus grilled chicken) and they were delicious! My wife ordered the 2 taco combo (crispy Baja fish and street corn/black bean) and was very happy with her decision. The food was delivered in a timely manner and was hot when we received it.
