    Coffee Blend!!!
    Sylvie F.

What more can I say I'm addicted to my special Coffee Cream Blend drink! Whenever I go out of town I have withdrawal symptoms - not really lol - but I do miss drinking them! Basically most of the staff here know my beverage order before I even place it, which is really nice! My favorite person is the manager, Hilda, for her sincere kindness! The Teahouse has a large variety of teas and other beverages to choose from along with additional options of boba, sinkers etc... It's a cool place to hang out especially for high school kids after school from Bellaire HS and other schools nearby. This Teahouse location is definitely my favorite!

I came here to get get a drink and tried the Rose tea. It was refreshing and like the variety they had of cream blends and specialty drinks. I have been to other boba spots and they are always limited to the flavors so I appreciated they had everything you can think of and add ons. The boba is great, but if you want to change up your Boba I would do a flavored boba. The service is always on point and they are quick to take your order. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I have not tried their food, but it sure does look appetizing. If you want to get the most bang for your buck, I would try the combo. It is very quiet for study breaks or if you want to catch up with a friend.

I literally demolish this 3P Honeydew Cream Blend

I loved the atmosphere and drinks! The service was amazing! Thank you so much for being patient with our orders

Got the hazelnut latte. It was so amazing! Big portion size and tastes great. Service was fast and prices okay could be better though. Definitely coming back! (Note: there was a kind of strong bleach smell but maybe they just cleaned. Doesn't matter if you are getting your drink to go.)

Jazmine Green Tea with Tapioca! Sweet and tasty for just under $5

Jazmine green tea that's very refreshing and light for just under $5! Would come again staff was very friendly!

Staff is friendly and lots of seating for groups. From my experience, it gets pretty busy in the afternoon because there is a high school nearby. It's in a convenient location and the drinks are decently enjoyable. My favorite are the medium spice fries!!

You order at the counter and the server will bring the food out to you. We got chicken and waffle & chicken and pancake, French toast with side of scrambled eggs, and an iced lavender latte and English breakfast hot tea. The food & drinks quickly came out, which is always greatly appreciated when dining with kids. The chicken was a generous portion and juicy. The butter had a unique flavor and paired well with the chicken. The pancake and waffle were also big portions. The latte was sweet and well balanced. The manager came around checking on us and was very attentive when I needed to request an extra cup of hot water for our tea. The floral wall decor and light fixture gives such a cozy vibe. Portions are large/filling and we felt the food was delicious and a good value for money. When we arrived the line was long and menus were not available so we had to search for the menu on the website to avoid deciding at the counter and holding up the people behind us. After ordering, tables were cleaned consistently and service was friendly. Only feedback about seating was outside parties would take chairs from other tables and leave them with no seating and not all tables we're shaded. The drinks being available at the bar when it is busy and then food being delivered to the table was a bit clunky. I picked up water and utensils for our party before sitting and would have preferred to have to pick everything up at the counter or have everything brought to the table to avoid multiple trips around when the restaurant is busy.

Overall, it was a tasty drink, but I wish the pistachio/nutty flavor had been a bit more prominent, and it felt more like a regular vanilla latte. Compared to other coffee shops, the prices here were reasonable given the size of the cup, so kudos for that, especially in this economy... CoffeeTrend also serves cocktails, which is another neat feature about this place. :)

About 5 tables in the restaurant and we grabbed the last table on this Sunday afternoon. One places an order at the counter - We ordered a pair of Barbacoa tacos (only available on the weekends) and also a Migas taco. the server was very pleasant and they bring out your food and coffee to the table. I bit into the first Barbacoa taco and grease just dripped out - quite a bit. I know that the Barbacoa meat can be a little greasy, depends on the cut of the meat, but this grease was too much for me. I started to pat down the meat with a paper napkin to soak up the grease, but then decided not to eat the Barbacoa tacos as I'm trying to eat somewhat healthy [and this was definitely not a close call to healthy]. The Migas taco was good. Their taco sauce is spicy and does not have a good flavor. Their green sauce (salsa verde) is very good and a bit spicy. Overall, I compromised on a "2" star rating as the coffee was good and the Migas taco was also good. I'm not planning to come back.

Grinder's Coffee Bar came up and it was right across the street so I made my way over. I arrived around 1 p.m. on a Wednesday. I parked in their small complimentary lot and made my way inside. Ambiance (3.5/5): Grinder's is basically two spots in one. When you walk in, there's a small counter where you place your order. And a handful of seats. From there, you wan walk into a more spacious second room that houses a CBD shop. And more seating along with the bathroom. I sat at a couch in the CBD area. While weed isn't my thing, if you're into both weed and coffee, that makes for a nice one-two punch for you. There isn't a ton of seating, less so than most coffee shops. Luckily, since it was a weekday, I didn't have any trouble. I wonder if that's different on the weekends. They also have free WiFi if you'd like to linger and work or study. Service (2.5/5): The menu is a little confusing because they have a menu on the counter and a menu on the wall with different items. I didn't see that there was a menu on the counter until I was about to place an order. They also have some beverages in a cooler that aren't on either menu. Not the best set up. Service wasn't terribly friendly either. Food (N/A): Since I just had lunch prior, no food for me. They have a small, but appetizing number of pastries and small bites for sale if you get the munchies (pun intended). Drinks (3.5/5): I'm not a coffee drinker so take this with a grain of salt. When I go to a coffee shop, I like coffee shops that still have a nice selection of teas and juices. Grinder's has a small number of teas that can be made either hot or iced. I went with one, iced, and sweetened with agave (for a surcharge). I liked it and the price was reasonable. They also had a mocktail of sorts that was available on their seasonal menu, although like most mocktails, overpriced. While not really my vibe, if you're a CBD person, Grinder's will be right up your alley. It's a unique spot and located in a great part of town.
