I have been wanting to get a facial here, and when I saw a new patient deal it seemed like a good opportunity to try it out. I got PRFM and microneedling, and didn't have a great experience. I have bruising, scabbing, noticeable needle holes, irritation/redness. They missed my vein when drawing blood after making a comment the vein was obviously plump. I have done microneedling with prp many times before at other reputable cosmetic dermatologist's offices, I've never experienced so much pain during the procedure. I understand there could be redness after the procedure, but I've never seen needle holes or scabbed before. I was excited to finally come here, but unfortunately likely won't come back. Considering how high their price point is, I was disappointed with the service. read more

I had a wonderful experience at The Things We Do in Chino Hills so I decided to give the Venice location a try (and Mary the esthetician who helped me with my facial in CH also works at this location so it was a no brainer)! Booking an appointment was quick and easy. Because I visited on a weekday, there were no issues finding parking in the public shared lot (free) across the street. The building is located right by an alleyway - you can't miss it as the exterior is painted a bright coral pink. I was called in immediately for my appointment. The interior was very open, inviting, and clean. There was a small area to shop for skincare products before or after your appointment. The facial room is not the biggest but it is cozy. The entire experience was pretty relaxing (minus extractions, which are never fun but part of the process - no pain no gain)! Included as part of the facial is also a little massage on the upper body that was amazing. After the session, my skin felt rejuvenated and hydrated after all the love and care. She is very knowledgeable around skin care and various concerns that her clients may have. Bonus - her extractions are super gentle! I also see Kelsey for Botox. I went to Kelsey never having gotten injections before and she was very patient with my questions and did not make me feel pressured at all to move forwards with a procedure.
