We had visited two or three other shops for our bathroom renovation in the master bathroom for ideas and decided to stop by the Tile Shop. We are glad that we did! Shu-nan is the store manager (which we did not initially know). He was our sales consultant, and that really is the correct word, consultant. He was very accommodating, patient and had some excellent design ideas. The store itself had many real mock-ups of bathroom settings for helping with the visual reality of options even though all they sell is various tile components. The variety is very wide in terms of styles and pricing and quality - there are options for all budgets. What helped most was in showing our dimensions and measurements, Shu-nan was able to practically design out how our tile would fit for shower, tub encasement, etc. in great detail. We also had the opportunity for 18 months interest free financing, which is nice, but that needs paying attention to because the interest is accrued and it is 29%, so if you mess up, it would be a big and costly mess up. I needed to have a backsplash put in my kitchen. I found a picture online of exactly what I wanted. I went to one of the other stores, showed it to them and got a shrug and they said "Have you checked our website?" So I went to the Tile Shop and I'm glad I did. I showed the picture to Larry and he said: "That is from one of our showrooms. I know that exact tile." He showed me the tile, which is exactly what I wanted, asked me some questions about where it was to be installed to make sure I bought the right grout, and checked me out in under 10 minutes. It was awesome service! I will only come here the next time I need tile. I couldn't have been happier! read more

Visited 7/10/23 at about 2pm with my cousin who is looking to buy tile for her backsplash in her newly remodeled kitchen. As soon as we walked in, even though we saw no other customers, we weren't greeted. We saw a tall, bearded man straight to the back and he saw us walk in. We walked around talking about the tile for about :05mins but no one came to say "Hello, may I help you?" or anything. Leaving a bad taste in my mouth because I'm visiting from TN and I've only had good experiences with the people I met in SC...until TODAY. As we walked around MORE, I saw the same man in the back, a blond woman at the front on a laptop or register & a young, bearded man helping a woman to her car. I asked sadly if they were too busy to help us. The young man said "If they are, I'll help you when I come back in." The woman paused, then went back to her duties. By that time it was time to go. Being ignored isn't specific to a certain region and today proved it. One should NEVER misJUDGE another person as to whether they can afford what's in their store, you never know, they may just know the higher ups. read more

Great experience start to finish, my friend and are DIYers and the manager was friendly and knowledgeable about the specific tile we were looking at. Delivery was prompt, man was friendly and they keep you in the loop so you knew when they would get there. Took back the leftovers with no problems. Will use again and do recommend. read more

Customer service not the greatest here. They all act like they own this place. I got some shower corners here and the lady at check out said she discounted them for me cuz oh they are so expensive, expecting me to bow down probably but once I came home and compared the price on previous receipt from buying same corners few days before (I didn't buy enough) turns out the guy sold them to me like $2 cheaper then she did without even saying anything. Anyway, this time I bought extra so I rather return them keep coming back. When I came back they couldn't give me receipt cuz they were out of ink, your problem. Such high prices store yet they can't keep their stuff together. read more

Starting in April, we started a remodel project of the bathroom. This was a guest bathroom and rather 1970 size and style. So to bring this dated bathroom to the present was a challenge. I had some ideas but needed help. I went to one tile store and no one even approached me. I looked for about 20 minutes and went to the Tile Shop. Ed approached and assisted with what I needed for the floor. Most helpful ! Later I needed design help with the wall tiles and I had found a mirror in the show room that I feel in love with. Jen helped with the tile design and Damien found where I could order the mirror. The customer service is outstanding. The staff was welcoming and very helpful! We made 3 large purchases for our home because they have a huge selection to choose from. The quality of the materials are great and their return policy is amazing! They allow you to bring back anything you do not use! They are the only tile store in Greenville that offer this return policy! My husband and I couldn't have been more pleased with Shu-nan, the store manager!
