First, the couch had a stain that resembled a blood stain underneath the back cushion. Next, the dining table is an extension table. One end of the table makes a squeaking noise when leaning on it. When looking underneath the table, the rails underneath are not the same size as the other end of the table. Which is why it is squeaking/knocking. I contacted our salesperson who then told me the process of submitting a ticket for someone to come out and look at the pieces. A few weeks later, someone came out to remove the stain and then tried to fix the table with no such luck. He did try to put some sticky felt on the railings - which is not fixing the problem, just patching it for a little bit. Needless to say, the felt did not stay in place. We were told we can replace the table or receive our money back. We opted for replacing the table (supposed to be delivered this week). Now, last night I was sitting on the dining chair (which I haven't really sat on) I heard something drop on the floor. Here a screw came off of the bottom of the chair. How I know this? I had to turn over the chair and noticed where it came out of. I tried to replace and it was stripped. I then looked over the rest of the dining chairs and the majority of the screws were very loose or missing. The loose screws were stripped from whomever put the chairs together. Long story - I know. I had to put another ticket it for the chairs now. I love the sofa, chair and the dining table. However, paying a large amount of money (at least for our budget) it extremely disappointing and knowing I will not be buying anything from this facility again. I will write a follow up on the table and chairs.

We realized that we ordered 2 additional feet than we had room for in our yard. These 3 employees were phenomenal! We probably spent over an hour working on the adjustment and refund, but they patiently assisted us so that we would not buy a deck that we didn't have room for. Kaytie never lost her cool and she could have. We had to go through each item that was purchased and figure out if there was a change and adjustment needed. We knew this was going to be a long and frustrating situation, but they didn't buckle under pressure! Thanks for making it as enjoyable as it could be! They should get a bonus!

Instead of letting me leave, they blindsided me by interviewing me on the fly for multiple completely different positions that I had zero preparation for. To top it off, their communication is non-existent; they used incredibly unclear language during the process and completely ignored my follow-up messages asking for clarification. Absolute chaos and a blatant waste of my time, gas, and energy. If this is how they treat applicants, working there must be a nightmare. Job seekers, do not waste your time. We were in and out in less than half an hour, including signing in, meeting with a product specialist and walking through the warehouse to choose a specific slab of marble. We could have stayed a lot longer if we had wanted to but we got it, picked out the piece we wanted and BOOM, done. The person helping us was super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and was happy to get help from one of the technicians to pull out a specific piece of marble we wanted to look at. Awesome! The only reason I'm not giving these guys 5 stars is because we can't go to them directly. You have to go through 3rd parties to buy your countertops or whatever you're looking for through Home Depot (like we did) or other retailers in the twin cities. It took the corporate sloths (see the movie Zootopia) over a week from the point of purchase at their store to get us in touch with MSI and only didn't take longer because I called Home Depot to bug them. Once Home Depot were out of the way, MSI contacted me the same day, they came out to laser measure my kitchen two days later and that SAME DAY we went down to their warehouse to pick out our marble. It would be soooooo cool if we would just eliminate Home Depot from the equation and only deal with these guys. Anyway, it is what it is. The guy loaded them up and I drove off, again very friendly and helpful. My project started two weeks after that. My contractor went to open up the boxes and started to work. When he got to the third box, five out of six tiles were cracked or broken. My contractor told me they should stand by the tile and do an exchange. So I called them to let them know and that I was in the middle of my project and needed another box and that one box was broken, so would I be able to bring these pieces back and exchange for a new box? They informed me that once the tile leaves their store, they aren't responsible anymore! Do they think I enjoyed driving another 30 miles to deal with this in the middle of my project? So I asked I'm supposed to just buy another box with no assistance? She informed me that it was company policy! I asked her to talk to a manager, she came back and said, sorry we can't do anything for you. WOW! Thanks for letting me know you have such a crappy policy and ZERO customer service! We're sharing…read moreour experience so that other consumers do not find themselves being taken advantage in the way that we have been. Tile by Design does not disclose either in writing, verbally, or on their website if specific tile is special order/non-refundable. When we placed the order for our tile, we specifically asked if the 10% overage in square footage was returnable. A Tile by Design employee told us that it was in fact returnable. Additionally, none of the paperwork we receive, including the receipt, said that the tile was special order/non-refundable. After receiving the tile, we discovered that it was full of scratches, divots, pin holes, air bubbles, and chipped edges. When attempting to return the tile, they would not accept. They told us the only way we could return the tile was if we paid for a shipping and restocking fee, which resulted in 40% of the overall purchase. We even offered to share the return costs by suggesting 20% each and they refused. Their lack of integrity for both the quality of their product and treatment of their customers is unacceptable. We encourage all consumers to take your business elsewhere.
