This time I happened to be there in the morning so I decided to try Heidi's. Heidi's is on the smaller end for breakfast places, but very nice. Antiques line the walls along with some cool paintings. Each table was set up with different table cloths, cups, etc. My order was filled quickly and there were many good menu options. The pancakes and bratwurst were my favorite parts. Most places have sausage but not bratwurst, so that was a welcome surprise. The toast and hash browns were also very good. I am not a huge egg fan but it was a fine egg anyhow. I highly recommend Heidi's for anybody looking for an excellent breakfast. I will be sure to stop here any time I am near St. Mary's in the future!

I started with a cortado made with Evan's Brothers beans. They also offer a chicory blend if that is your thing. Our waitress was attentive, answered all of our questions, and was great about a few modifications we asked for. They do have some gluten free and vegetarian options, though not a huge amount of gluten free. We started with the beignets and they were excellent. Perfect portion for two with a couple topping options. I would go back just for those. I ordered their take on eggs Benedict and my husband had the classic breakfast plate. Both were really flavorful, but the seasoned potatoes were a standout. Portions are generous, we ended up getting two more portions out of the leftovers. Overall, a really fun and memorable brunch spot. I am looking forward to going back for one of the events when they have live music.
