Salmon wrap, sorry I forgot to take a pic when it was whole.
    Amy R.

I recently read about this little place and wanted to give them a try. They have a very large menu with so many selections. You can choose to build your own or one of the offerings on the board. You can also add to those items. We shared the Salmon Wrap and the regular San Pancho salad. Both were tasty, as well as nicely portioned so that you shouldn't go away hungry. Service was friendly, greeting us on our arrival and asking if we had been in before. Ordering was easy, though the dining area isn't huge,it was clean and bright with a wall of windows. If you are looking for somewhere that isn't fast food, tastes good and is good for you stop in and give them a try. 4 stars given because the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while.

Pesto Chicken Sourdough Sandwich with Chickpea Chili

I recently discovered this place and it is so good! The food is amazing and the workers are really nice! The first time I got here, I had the breakfast wrap and it was huge! They also have some nice pastries and acai bowls! I have also tried a sourdough sandwich and they are amazing! I would totally recommend coming here, doesn't even taste gluten free!

    Green Gobbler

I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The staff is friendly! I ordered the Green Gobbler and the Amethyst Bloom Special. The food was delicious! I plan on returning soon!

Everything here was so great! Fantastic service, and the food was DELISH! So flavorful, we didn't eat inside but all commented on how clean and well designed it was! So great to have found a place with such yummy options for dietary restrictions of all kinds

    San Pancho, Thai Yum Curry

Great food options here. I had the San Pancho with a hard bioled egg and the chickpea chili on the side (and on top). Also had the nutty monkey. Avaocado was fresh and appropriately ripe. Chipotle dressing was amazing. Portions were generous but not overwhelming. Highly recommended. So hard to find an eatery these days where the food not only supports life, but improves it. Also, GREAT service!

San Pancho added rice and sweet potatoes, with Berry Bliss acai bowl, drink was from Starbucks :)

First time from Uber Eats :) The salad San Pancho was absolutely amazing! Good thing I added rice and sweet potato the extra carbs was a great choice, I was stuffed! I tried the berry vinaigrette and loved it, should've asked for 2 instead of the default dressing they gave me not sure what it was but not a fan. The Berry Bliss acai bowl was not bad, Salad definitely better, I prefer my acai bowls not frozen like how Method Juice Cafe makes theirs, just a preference thing. The food here is a little on pricey side but I mean it's healthy food not McDonald's burgers so you get what you pay for and i'm sure your body will thank you in the long run. I wish Spokane had more places like this, I can only think of Method Juice Cafe that has similar food.

So happy to find this place! Wonderful, fresh food options--salads, super food bowls, smoothies, sandwiches, loaded spuds! Friendly and welcoming. Cheerful and you feel good eating it! I am not gluten free but this one is a 100% gluten free restaurant as well! Must visit!

I don't normally take pictures of my food but this one earned it. The Pumpkin curry bowl with kale and pepitas was just the right combination of savory and heat. It's definitely filling enough to be lunch twice! I also got a Cobb salad because I wanted it. Super cute inside, friendly associates, and clean! I'lol be a repeat customer anytime I'm in the area for sure. The price is worth it for the portion you receive and quality of product.

Cobb Salad with added chickpeas and onions.

A first timer to Fresh and Foraged today on Holland up north and I ordered the Cobb Salad. It came with everything in this pic except chickpeas and onions which I added. It was so good! The lettuce was crisp and cold and it was huge! This was about $18.50 and some may say it's spendy for a salad but I thought it was worth it! I'm already wanting to go back. I tried a sample of their curry soup that was thick and warming. They have a " Sunshine Bowl" made with that soup with toppings that I think I'm going to try next. Recommend a visit if you like big salads with topping options!

The biggest issue right away was how long the food took. It felt like we were waiting forever, and by the time it finally came out, it definitely didn't feel worth it. We started with the pretzel, which honestly was nothing like a pretzel. It tasted more like glorified fried dough and didn't have that classic pretzel texture or flavor at all. For drinks, mine was way too strong and just didn't taste good. It wasn't balanced at all and ended up being hard to even enjoy. For my main, I ordered the Cascadia burger medium, but it came out clearly well done and overcooked. On top of that, the egg on it was severely undercooked.. some of the whites were still clear and slimy, which completely ruined it for me. I had also heard good things about the mac and cheese, so I gave it a try, but that was another disappointment. It was bland and runny, and even after adding salt and pepper, it still had no real flavor. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, which wasn't terrible, but it was definitely on the dry side. They were also out of fries, so he had to get fruit instead, which was kind of disappointing. Overall, the food took way too long, the quality didn't match the price, and the experience just didn't live up to the hype at all. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Finally, a place that has HEALTHY, CLEAN, and MACRO friendly options! Not only are they clean, healthy and macro friendly ingredients, they are also QUICK. The inside is bright and clean and the decor is tasteful. I love it. I have tried just about all of their bowls and there isn't one I don't like. The service is always timely, the employees are very sweet and accommodating, and the food, again, is so yummy and not too expensive. This person who said they got "maybe a cup of food for $42.00" is exaggerating. The bowls are usually between $14 and $18 depending on any substitutions or additions I make and it is plenty food. I am rarely able to finish it in one sitting. Some people have mentioned the bowls being dry without an extra side of sauce (so order an extra side of sauce.....?), I don't entirely agree, but I think people need to remember that this place is all about healthy eating. Drowning the bowls in sauce, changes the calories and macros in the bowls. It's like when you eat a salad, but then smother it in ranch dressing. You might as well have had the cheeseburger, because It's no longer as healthy as you want it to be. I think it's important for people to remember this is healthy eating. This is not smothered in sauce, cooked in butter, full of preservatives eating, it's healthy! This is what good wholesome clean food tastes like! It's good and good for you! Someone else said the mango salsa was cold. I don't think I have ever had heated up or warm mango salsa, and I'm not sure I'd want it, so I don't think this is something to hold against them either. I have had the blackened shrimp with mango salsa bowl many times. It's actually one of our favorites! I usually want extra mango salsa, because the combination with the lime creme and the blackened shrimp is perfection! It's so good! I love their food and I love that we have them as an option in Spokane now! We can finally get a quick healthy meal that we can feel good about! I will keep going and keep trying everything you make! Just tried the new Miso Ginger bowl last week and it was AMAZING.

A deeper dive showed a good possibility of gluten free options, so I made the reservation. I was in town on a Monday, just after Hoopfest, but they were the kind of busy where a reservation should always be made I think. My table was ready and I sat in the bar at a high top table. I think I would choose "in the dining room" next time. My server was friendly and quick, as well as knowledgeable about gluten free options. There is even a separate menu that lays out the dishes that are already gf or could be made to be. Love this, always. I ordered the summer salad to start. It was amazing. Flavorful. Fresh. The mint wasn't overpowering, the watermelon was the perfect ripeness. It was so good. I would try to recreate it but it was done so well, and I know I couldn't hit that dressing in the same way. Get it while you can. For my main, I had ordered the scallops in my brain before I even arrived. The risotto was a little soupy, but the flavor was SO good. The corn came through and it went so well with the scallops. The tomatoes were quite over salted, but as long as I didn't eat them alone, it was alright. The scallops were perfectly cooked and I felt like the portion was appropriately sized for the dish, even though there were only 4. My server really made the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was busy but the booths looked like they could be cozy. The prices were on the higher end. But for a special occasion, it was worth it. I really wished I'd had room for dessert. I will surely go back the next time I am in town.

First off, I was looking for an authentic Napoli style pizza. Like a fresh red sauce from crushed tomatoes and a beautiful chewy, pillowy, yet charred crust. The verdict: Wooden City is the winner! The crust is really really good! The sauce is a bright beautiful tomato sauce that looks like crushed tomatoes however, the sauce was lacking flavor:( I would give this pizza a 3 out of 5. The crust is a 4 1/2 star but the sauce lacking in flavor..brought it down to a 3. Cute place, very pleasant friendly staff..way friendlier vibe than Barrelhouse. The boys are easy on the eyes for younger girls on the hunt! Lmao Don't bother with the Margherita pizza at Barrelhouse. Thank God I only paid $12 for the Margherita Monday deal of half off! The crust was horrible! Dominos has better crust! Costco pizza's had a better crust! The sauce has flavor, very garlicky like fresh garlicky but more of a paste with a load of oregano in it. The cheese didn't have that fresh taste I was hoping for. However, they are known for their Detroit pizza's which I haven't tried but if it's the same sauce, I would pass. Not saying it's bad but it's just not MY cup of tea whether it's for a Detroit style or any pizza. Now you don't have to guess which place has a better Margherita pizza. I wouldn't even pay $12 at Barrelhouse for a marg. Would I come back, yes, if I were in my 20's.. lol but since I'm older and the food is more important to me...no...:/ But hey, maybe their other pizza's are better!
