We found this place randomly locked behind a mysterious door. It was $15 for a day pass so you can walk around, eat somewhere and return. It's pretty much like a mini ren fair with neat drinks and like two snacks on the menu. They also have performances later in the night. It's mostly worth it if you plan to stay for longer. They claim to be non profit. So all the money goes back into keeping this up.

Such a unique experience! The vibes were awesome both inside and out and every drink I got was delicious (especially the fairy wine!) If you have your own games you want to bring also a perfect spot for that. Overall would want to come back and spend more time here or attend an event! I think the $15 day pass is justified but only if you maximize time!

What a delightful place! A very dear friend of mine came from across the veil of the fae to come see me, and she insisted we try out the Tiny Minotaur. Upon our visit we were safely greeted by an honorable guard, received words of wisdom from a whimsical wizard, tasted the most divine of brews (as a wizard myself, I personally quite enjoyed the fog cloud), gathered up escaped beasties that had hidden themselves across the grounds, and had the loveliest conversations with the elves taking care of the place. We had such a lovely time there, and fellow friends and adventures, let me tell you, this was a *quiet* night at the Tiny Minotaur. I've heard tales of many exciting events, I can only imagine what thrills and merriment could be had. Genuinely, thank you everyone there, the love and care put into what you do is evident, seen, and appreciated. You made a night with a friend I don't get the opportunity to see often very special, and we're grateful for the experience

The Tiny Minotaur was the most welcoming and charming fantasy tavern--my husband and I had so much fun, we went TWICE on our weekend trip to Austin! We got to meet some of the regular characters at the local haunt, while also getting the opportunity to see our first drag show! What a fun experience and definitely one of the biggest highlights of our trip! If you are ever in Austin, or a local, go support The Tiny Minotaur! Pick up a glizzy or Karthian Classic while you're at it! (I recommend the Mimic's Mule!)‍‍

Incredible one of a kind tavern. Great beer, super reasonable prices, great staff, excellent ambiance. Everything I'd want in a local pub. My dream bar really. If you're a queer fantasy nerd who avoids being a nob; this is your space!

Joe did they balance on the wooden slats?! Lulu (Miki Abraham) stole the show. "Independently Owned" was my favorite song, and she was great in every way. Broadway In Austin made ticket pickup easy. Also they've removed the clear bag policy. Bass Concert Hall now offers additional restrooms past the foyer on four floors in a separate building; there were two people in front of me in line and zero behind me. The pedestrian traffic was well organized by the ushers and helpful volunteers. Her your corns up Austin, and take my kernels of wisdom to motivate you to see the Broadway show of the year.

Clue was comedic from beginning to end - like actually funny. The writing was witty and smart, the entire cast completely talented from head to toe. Scoped out the venue which was bigger than anticipated and really enjoyed the fish tank TVs. So fun! The show was entertaining and up to date with references all relevant to the current times. Everyone on stage was great and their chemistry can be seen. The audience was laughing 99% of the time and the show went back fast! I'd totally go back for a local Austin night out with good laughs.

The show is about 90 minutes, with a 5 min break halfway through. They have a bar on site, and a taqueria that's connected to their building as well. He does a family friendly show so there were a lot of people there with kids, Full families, moms, dads, grandparents. We were one of the few without kids. The staff was very friendly at the entrance, the bar, and when seating. The place is pretty big and has upstairs and downstairs seating as well as a bar on several levels. Two points that did bring the visit a little down. The seating, you are packed in like sardines. No room to stretch even a little, you bump against the stranger next to you or them into you. It is almost worse then an airplane. Two no handrails on several stairs which are also uneven. I have some ongoing spine and foot pain and it caused me issues but I saw several other people struggling and one almost falling themselves. Had it been just me or maybe one other person that would be bad enough but as several people struggled that is a huge safety issue and should be fixed. The ushers helped when they could but sometimes they were helping others and didn't see it happen. Still it was a fun time, if a bit cramped. The staff is great and I love the history but that also means it is very outdated and not very comfy to sit for an hour or more, especially with no intermission.
