We are so very thankful so very grateful for this agency who supplied us with these 2 sisters. They are amazing. They care not only for her. But the family they give her the most upscale care more. So than her own children, I must say.

Throughout the holidays my mother had no care, and she is priority customer. Do not use this agency! They are horrible. We have tried to talk to someone but the schedulers (the fulltime person is completely inept) but they do not respond (maybe on vacation?). Never use this company if you care about your family member. I am going to call the state because these people should not be receiving funds from them. The CEO makes 2 million a year, but they can't afford to pay the real workers what they deserve (which is way more than minimum wage for what they do). It is completely cruel as to how this company "takes care of" its clients. DO NOT USE MODIVCARE!!!!!!!

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and caring, I mean really caring and sweet. The food is delicious, healthy and there is plenty of it. If residents don't like food they just have to ask and another food will be made for them. There are all kinds of activities and excursions with plenty of staff to help; and they throw some of the best parties I have ever been too. Medical staff is on hand which is very helpful. My grandmother arrived and was very scared (she lived in her home over 65 years) I swear within a day or two she really started to love the place. She has made many friends. What I like best is that we don't have to worry about her. We don't have to spend the weekend, doing laundry, cleaning and help with her showering. We get to spend quality time with her. That's the best feeling in the world. The place has just upgraded the place, new carpets, new paint, new furniture everything is spotless and beautiful Kathy Braga is the Chief Fun Fairy and Director of Middlewood's. She runs a tight ship with lots of love. She makes everything run seamlessly. My grandmother has long term care insurance and they gave us so much trouble to get them to pay for my grandmothers care. Kathy dug in and we got the result we wanted they'd pay for her care. I don't believe that we would have gotten the same conclusion with out her. We love her, we love the place and we are very, very happy.

The rooms are very comfortable and the hallways resemble a college dorm with small tables of knick knacks and seasonal decorations. My mom gets her hair, nails and pedicures done on the premises. Also on the premises is a geriatric doctor and psychiatrist, both of which my mom sees. There are activities every day and also a van that takes residents to doctor appointments, the store as well as field trips and Wii bowling competitions with other assisted living communities. There's something for every level of care for seniors and I am very happy to have my mom living there.

The soup comes from a famous chain but has high salt content. There are daily calendars posted for the day's events that are often canceled or moved to another day. The staff is wonderful, hard-working, and friendly. Atria does the best it can. Corporate needs to read these reviews and take action.

The Country House first on the list. My wife and I were impressed as soon as we walked in the door. The place was immaculate. The staff was warm and welcoming. The rooms we were shown were perfectly adequate for my wife's simple needs. But just to make sure that we weren't missing out on an even better option we looked at two other facilities. They didn't come close the Country House. So we paid for 2 weeks care with the option of extending if needed. The bottom line is that my wife who vehemently resisted staying in assisted living felt immediately at ease and within a few days she was fully adjusted, made friends with other residents and, most surprisingly, she loved the food! The nurses were attentive to her needs and responded quickly when my wife presses the help button that she given to wear around her neck. With one minor glitch, they provided her 3 times a day with her medications. My wife has difficulty working her cell phone, so they help make calls. It turned out that I needed two additional weeks before I was ready to resume caring for her at home. She was such good hands that I never had to worry about her. That relief was priceless. It is without hesitation that I give The Country House a 5 star rating.

From the first day of visiting I was welcomed by all the staff and greeted with a big hello and simple, yet fun conversations. When Walking the halls with and without the dog in tow, the staff would say hello. The place is beautiful, and well maintained (from what I could see). The grounds are beautiful and set back in a quiet location. I did get a nice sense of community while there.

Unfortunately several of the folks near my husband's room had dementia and screamed much of the day, which made for a difficult healing environment. We were most interested in physical therapy and although the practitioner was fine, he was often working with 3-4 patients at a time. There were several occasions where he just couldn't fit my husband in. We would not use this facility again.
