What upset me even more was their billing department. At my appointment, I clearly explained that I live in Italy and provided my son's home address in Madison as my mailing address. Despite that, they never mailed me a bill, never called my phone, and never sent a text message. Instead, they claim they emailed me a $93 bill--which I never received. Relying on a single email for a medical bill is unacceptable when so many legitimate emails end up in spam folders. My insurance had no problem paying over $400, but somehow this company couldn't contact me for the remaining $93. Interestingly, the collection agency they turned it over to had no trouble reaching me. My son immediately texted me at the very same phone number I had given the billing department. I paid the balance the moment I learned about it. The only bright spot was a wonderful woman at the reception desk. She apologized sincerely, admitted they had been dealing with many problems caused by the AI phone system, and promised that a manager would call me. That call never came. This entire experience was unprofessional and deeply disappointing. I will never use this company again, and I'll be sharing my experience wherever people look for reviews.

When I walked out I felt more confident and regenerated because I had not taken care of myself in a long time. I was able to make an appointment and come in without waiting months like other dermatologists in the area. When I arrived, I was greeted so kindly and was given a tablet to sign in and put in all of my information. The lobby was pretty full and I could tell that the wait time was going to be longer than expected, which it was. I had an appointment for 2:30pm and wasn't placed in a room until around 3pm, so do be prepared to wait past your appointment time. My dermatologist was Ashley Joines and she was exceptional. After looking at what I had been worried about, she let me know that I was clear, which was a huge weight off of my shoulders. However, she did find other skin issues during a full body check and prescribed me a couple of ointments. I have yet to go back because of course, White Coat Syndrome, and because those skin issues didn't clear up, I need a biopsy. Yay. So I need to figure out a day to go back (or go elsewhere) they're closed on weekends and they close at 4:30 during the week, which is very inconvenient for people who work. If they were open later/on weekends, I would definitely come back. Ashley made me feel absolutely comfortable during the entire body check.
