Instead, the store is spacious, airy for this kinda of a store, nicely organized. They also have new items on display, paintings, home decor, cool merchandise that would fit nicely in your place or make a good gift. A bit of local artists creations, Mexican pottery, a nice mix. They also have older items, a nice selection of more one of a kind, interesting things. Great place to browse and shop in, I really liked their merchandise, more interesting and fresh!

Unfortunately, I didn't purchase it that day and it was gone when I came by today. BUT I found an Olympia SM8 instead and I took it home with me. It is GORGEOUS and in excellent condition. There are some minor paint drips on some of the keys and other surfaces from the previous owner, but nothing that prevents it from functioning as it should. Already popped in new typewriter ribbon, as I had an extra spool from owning an Olympia SM3. Excited to write on this! The people who work here are really sweet and helpful. Cash and cards accepted. Looks like most antique shops, but very organized. Definitely check it out if you're ever in San Clemente.

This site helps you do that, plain and simple. I ordered the Roy Toy tree house and the big barn (similar to lincoln logs) for his nephews for Christmas. The experience was very pleasant. I called the site's phone number (three days before Christmas) and almost fell out of my chair when a live human actually answered the phone...there was NO recording asking you to press '0' for this and press '1' for that. In my book, that is almost extinct these days. The lady who answered the phone was also AMERICAN. When I told her how I procrastinated buying the nephews' Christmas gifts this year and that I was really hoping to get them on Christmas Eve (a Monday). She eagerly and physically went to retrieve the 2 canisters (of toys) to assure me they had them in stock and to not waste my money spending the extra $$ on "second day air" shipping because it was not necessarily guaranteed. She said that Priority mail should make it to my door and was a LOT less expensive and that if I placed the order now, she would make sure they went in the mail that same day (Friday). Well, I placed the order and thanked her for her time...3 days later, on Christmas Eve, the mailman knocked on our door with the toys! I was so excited that they arrived JUST IN TIME! (The best part) LAst but not least, the lady who took my order wrote a hand written note on the receipt saying "thanks for ordering from us, I hope these made it to your house on time". Call me old-fashioned, but to me it's the little things like that that mean soooo much these days!! I was so happy to have a great experience with this company and at the same time, ordering a product that was produced in the USA! My boyfriend buys the Texas Jeans and loves them, he has 2 pair for work and 2 pair he wears when we go out and about. I also ordered 3 books (2 for gifts) that Todd (the founder of the site) wrote about the significance of buying American made products...I'm very eager to sit down and read it when time allows me to :) Anytime I need something that this site sells, I will always try my best to spend the extra couple minutes to log on my computer or phone and order from them or any other company who can sell themselves as well as this company has. I approached several staff members to assist me to investigate if the item I was looking to purchase was in stock in the back store room. They looked at me if I was speaking a foreign language, English is still the language of choice isn't it ? I ended up frustrated and decided to leave. This is not the first time that I encountered a language problem. I know what you're thinking " why didn't you ask for a manager". well this past January I had to wait 35 minutes for someone to find a manager and when they did I had to help them fill out the form to my dismay ! The manager said someone from the Corporate Office would contact me within 48 hours ...... its now June and I'm still waiting ! This is about Corporate Greed, non trained staff members and managers at no fault of their own have been placed untrained into the service of dealing with customers.
