    Wydaho nachos (half order)

Nothing better than a drink, wydaho (waffle fries) nachos, and live music at the trap after a long day of skiing. The nachos are enormous and perfectly layered with lots of fixings in every bite. Music is always a vibe. Fun, friendly crowd. I look forward to this après every year!!

Great ski bar! Served by Gaelyn, who was super friendly and made an amazing Mexican Mule (ask for Cazadores Tequila). Super amazing Mahi Mahi Tacos! Chill atmosphere and steps away from the mountain for lunch during skiing, and Apres Ski! Check them out!!

What a great time in a great location. The bar opens at 11 and everyone seems to know it. By 1105 the place is pretty full. There are a wide variety of beers on tap and in a can ready to go with you on to the slopes. The wait staff is easy on the eyes and really friendly. Is there a best thing on the menu? They seem to promote their nachos and waffle fries. Plenty of people order that and want it. I say the hidden gem is the fish tacos. Grilled not fried. What a difference. The worst thing to do is have a healthy alternative and then get the fried inside fish. These again are grilled. Tasty cole slaw and pico sauce on the side. Ask for the side salad instead of the tater tots or the fries if you are trying to be healthy. Then the bands come out. Man the whole atmosphere changes. People jump up and go dancing and the whole bar comes alive. What a great experience. Enjoy my friends.

We are staying in Driggs and came up to Targhee for lunch. This place didn't disappoint. We got a bowl of the soup of the day which was chicken curry. It was delish. One word of warning though, it is served VERY HOT. ( I burnt my tongue) We also got the Trapper Cheeseburger. We got it with Swiss cheese and added bacon beer cheese dip. That dip was so flavorful. It also has jalapeños in it. But not too spicy. We got the tots with the burger. We are from Utah and like Fry Sauce. And they don't serve it here but we asked for mayo and made our own. . It is Tuesday afternoon and they have Moonshine Mary's open mic with live music. Very nice. We love music. Definitely worth the drive to this ski resort to eat, even if you aren't skiing.

The service and the food is uneven. My last meal was below average and waitress had a poor attitude.

Traditional slope side apres ski bar. Food is great and so is the service. No kids allowed, except for from 6-8 for dinner.

Very disappointed with our first--and last--experience at this steakhouse…read more We had reservations for a party of six at 7:45 p.m. and were seated upstairs, where it was both uncomfortably warm. We mentioned this to the young hostess, who replied that she "had no control over that." We asked if she could at least inform a manager. Our waitress took our drink order in an impatient, distracted manner. She was looking around the room as I was speaking to her. When I began placing my order and requested my steak cooked medium, she rudely interrupted me by saying, "Just a minute," and walked away to speak to another server at the table next to us. She eventually returned to finish taking our orders. Our Caesar salads were good, although they were served warm instead of chilled. My 10-ounce sirloin, ordered medium, was decent but unremarkable. Unfortunately, my husband's and son-in-law's steaks, both also ordered medium, arrived extremely rare and were so undercooked they were difficult to cut. Their baked potatoes were hard and undercooked. My daughter and grandchildren ordered the ravioli, green beans, mushrooms, and macaroni and cheese, which were all bland and best described as merely adequate. My iced tea was never refilled, and our waitress was nowhere to be found throughout most of the meal. The room was so hot and noisy that my daughter and grandchildren eventually left the table because it was a very unpleasant atmosphere. As we were leaving, I stopped at the hostess stand and asked an older woman if she was the manager. She abruptly replied, "One of them." I quietly began explaining our experience so as not to create a scene. Instead of listening, she fixed me with a hostile stare and interrupted me by asking, "Did you tell your waitress about these issues so she could tell me?" I explained that our waitress never returned--not even to refill my tea--so we never had the opportunity to discuss our concerns with her. It was clear from the manager's attitude that the conversation wasn't going to be productive, so I simply told her my husband was still at the table and wanted to speak with her. Ironically, my daughter predicted the manager would treat the men in our party with more courtesy--and she was right. She listened to their concerns and removed one steak and a iced tea from the bill. Between the mediocre food, inattentive service, and unprofessional management, this was an extremely disappointing dining experience. We will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this restaurant

You cannot go wrong with any of the entrées, which are all known to be prepared deliciously. Regarding items that might not be standard fare for what is expected from local flavors... I was delightfully surprised by the way they serve shishito peppers--something that has become a very common appetizer--but their take on it with labne and harissa makes it uniquely different than what is seen at most restaurants. The muscles are sautéed and prepared in a manner that is standard for most French and Belgian preparations--tasty and light. The Trio burger is an item that has been on their menu from the start. It's a tasty burger you can always trust will be prepared correctly. And, I recommend adding the blue cheese to the fries and using it to put on the burger, as well.

Wine menu as well was a fair size with wine by the glass offering a good variety. 1. Shishito peppers - Delicious, good sharing portion, came with carrots! 2. Pizza with italian sausage - Not tomato based but was one of the better white pizzas I've had. Good amount of meat and mushrooms! 3. Meatballs - These were game but not gamey. Tomato sauce was so good. 4. Pork chop - Main dish was perfectly cooked medium. Came with some vegetables and a puree which was light. 5. Smores dessert - Unique as it was on top of a brownie with fluffy marshmallow. Delicious! 6. Creme brulee - 3/5. Filling was average but the shell was too thick. Overall, a great meal, good service and recommend to try at least once!

Four of us in the group for the day; two rode singles, with one being a newbie and I chose to sit in the princess seat behind my hubby as he drove our ATV. We were in excellent hands. Claude stopped us only a few times to take in the spectacular views from Shadow Mountain and what a spectacular photographer too! I would HIGHLY recommend taking the ATV tour and make sure you request Claude! Nitty Gritty -helmets were provided and fitted at the offices in Jackson. -we wore our own sunglasses under the shades built into the helmets. -we drove ourselves to a pin drop 25min outside of town and then followed Claude up to the trailhead where our ATV waited. -we reviewed safety and controls of each vehicle and hit the trail -we all wore long pants and variations of long sleeves because the dust is NO joke! -lunch was a simple sandwich with condiments and toppings on the side along with an ice cold water -there is a storage space about the size of a small backpack on each vehicle and we were able to secure our extras (sunscreen, layers, extra water, etc) in there BUT it was filthy at the end - it is not dust proof. -when the tour is done you end back at your cars and are on your own way from there
