Ordered an amazing gyro pizza -- fresh fruit and lemon cake. It was exactly what I didn't know I needed ! So reasonably priced too.

Chicken Curry yuck worst Indian food I ever had! It was watery and had no flavor. I could have made better at home.

The dish was awful. It was watery and had tons of grease I was very disappointed and I don't think I would go back again for Indian food.

I always order the salmon with roasted vegetables with rice and it's healthy is very tasty and i love the yogurt sauce. Salmon was very sandy like it had been fried in dirt season and veggies made me feel nauseous, I'm too the point where I just want to eat good. It's a "NO" for me. Ima leave this place alone, on God

Ordered delivery twice in the last week from this joint.  The chicken tika masala rice bowl is insanely good.  Not overly spicy, and w real basmati rice.  Great price too, especially as a lunch special.  So flipping good

This place is absolutely DISGUSTING it was our first time ordering, got food worth $35 when it wasn't even worth a penny. Food tasted horrible got chicken vindaloo and shrimp beryani found hair in both of the dishes had hair in them HAIR. We waited almost an hour for the food just to find hair in them. Never ordering from them!! Waist of time and our hard working money they should be ashamed of themselves for the service!

I ordered Veal Marsala and fettuccine Alfredo. They brought out garlic bread and I asked for Marinara to dip the bread in. The first sign that it was not going to be very good was the marinara sauce had no flavor. Like they forgot to season it. Rather disappointed in the entrees as well. Neither dish was seasoned enough and the veal looked to have a tomato based sauce. Couldn't really taste the Marsala sauce. Staff was friendly. We were instructed to look at the menu, then place our order at the cash register before taking a seat. I guess taking dine-in meal orders would interrupt the sleeping waitress. We were given a number and we took our seats at the inner tables to avoid condensation dripping from the air conditioning pipe along the ceiling. We ordered lasagna and pasta with sausage. (Two items I didn't think an Italian restaurant could mess up). Well, my lasagna looked as if it was prepared with tomato juice (not meat sauce), lasagna noodles, then topped with a thick layer of mozzarella cheese. I immediately lost my appetite. The pasta with sausage needed more sauce...much more sauce. My suggestion(S), hire waitstaff who can stay awake. Hire decent cooks or post recipes with pictures so they can prepare the food correctly. Or, buy Stouffer's or Tovala meal products in bulk. This location was clean and had a large, clean kitchen and a nice-sized party room. I've shared my experience with those looking to open their own restaurant. Perhaps they can buy the owners out.

Out server was super attentive - she dealt with a few clumsy spills, and even gave my Dad a petite birthday treat! Every dish was delicious. The Branzino was perfectly baked, and my favorite star of the night was the fried polenta dish! It had a delicious truffle Parmesan sauce with mushrooms which was to die for! The pesto dishes were made with basil, so no allergies for me! It's always a plus when I can taste something that would normally be made with nuts. Overall, a great time was had. We were seated in high bar chairs under great lighting and in a cozy corner for privacy. Ambiance - 10/10! Looking forward to trying their happy hour soon!

My friend and I have the same birthday. She made reservations for us to have dinner at Limoncellos…read more I arrived first and was told the entire party had to be there in order to be seated. They did say I could have a seat at the bar while I wait but I opted to wait outside. When my friend arrived we were seated promptly. The restaurant itself is super cute and a cozy, intimate atmosphere. It's dimly lit with beautiful little touches throughout, including "ciao" displayed across the ceiling and a really nice sign in the foyer which makes for a great photo op. For the food we decided to share crispy Brussel sprouts and shrimp bruschetta as an appetizer. Then for my main entree I got Pappardelle Genovese which was pappardelle pasta, caramelized onion- braised beef ragú, Gorgonzola cream drizzle, Parmigiano Reggiano and then I got creme brûlée for dessert. For my drink I went with a Shirley temple. The food was super delish. I especially enjoyed the shrimp bruschetta and my pasta dish. They were not stingy with the meat at all. The server added sparklers to our dessert which was a nice touch and wished us a happy birthday. However, because we orders two desserts he informed us that he could only comp one of them as a bday dessert. We weren't expecting either to be comped so that was nice. I think the pricing was decent, two non alcoholic drinks, three appetizers, two entrees and a dessert for $130 (as of 2026). Something worth mentioning is that sending a dish back may not result in the food being comped. My friend had also ordered the polenta al funghi but didn't like the aftertaste. She told the server who said he would get the manager. The manager said the dishes are made to order and the owners don't want food being comped (I'm summarizing). Mind you no one said anything about taking it off the check. It wasn't a big deal but interesting that no resolution was offered . Like she could've suggested to replace with something else. She basically just said she's not taking it off the check and that's it. Didn't ruin the experience for me but worth mentioning in case you're the type to send things back to the kitchen. Overall, good experience and I would return.

So: I passionately enjoyed my dinner at Mamma Roma. The reason that this is unusual is because I'm…read morenot big on going out for Italian food much at restaurants - other than on holidays - since I eat so much Italian food at home. I can make an exception for more casual Italian meals at only a handful of Italian restaurants, and Mamma Roma's is now one. Growing up partially Italian, and a mix of other ethnicities, my family cooks Italian better, of course, than at any restaurant. No one made better Italian dinners than my Na-na (grandmother). But Momma Roma's hummus cream rigatoni could definitely keep me coming back for more. No one made better meatballs than my Mom but the meatballs at Mamma Roma's are flavorful enough. No one made better sauce than my Aunt #1 but the sauce on Momma Roma's ravioli was good and so fresh. And no one made better cookies than my Aunt #2, but Momma Roma's cannolis and rum cookies are tasty. There are a lot of Italian restaurants in the area and I've read that Mamma Roma's is one of, if not, the best. I can only say that while my first visit here a decade ago was fine, this visit goes into my memory as "need to get back there, eventually, if not sooner," after delighting in their new menu item: a creamy hummus rigatoni with sausage. I love hummus, though wasn't really sure if the texture of hummus sauce would be too gritty. It was not. It had a lovely, substantial flavor and silky texture that was balanced well by the impeccably-cooked al dente rigatoni. Add to that the garlic, cream, sausage and herbs in this dish and you've got a winner. I highly recommend this rigatoni, of the 3 rigatoni entrees on Mamma Roma's menu. I haven't even tried the other rigatoni dishes, but still ... don't miss this creamy, garlicky hummus dinner. And the portions of rigatoni in this dish were very generous. The presentation of the lasagna was impressive, in layering and shape. I only had a bite. It had a nice flavor, but I would have needed more bites to give a better description. And since it wasn't my order, I could not indulge. The portion was generous. Also, I would never order lasagna from any restaurant given the reasons cited earlier, but this one was good. I hope someone is laughing because anyone who has grown up in a subcultural group in the US usually sounds exactly like me about the home-cooking they grew up on. Another of Mamma Roma's menu items I'd like to try is their corn and arugula white pizza. I've only found one lovely corn pizza ever at Zelo's in an LA suburb, so now that I have seen this on their menu my curiosity is piqued. Love love love the variety of the dessert menu options. It's not just the desserts in the case on display that you can order. While there are gorgeous cookies on display, the dessert menu has a long, lovely list of all kinds of variations of cheesecakes and cakes. I would like to try the lemon cake on a return visit. And more of the cookie flavors! When I asked the barista what the top desserts were, he was quick to name the cannoli as a first. You'd probably be surprised to find out that this is a counter service approach: you order and pay up at the front and the waiter brings you your food and whatever else you need. You get your own fountain drinks or tea with ice. You can tip in advance, in good faith, when you order in the beginning or you can leave cash on the table at the end of the meal, having already paid your bill in the beginning. There is also the charming dessert counter/bar and espresso area that I mentioned earlier. So, when you are finished with your lunch or dinner, you can go to the barista's counter and order dessert and cappuccino. I love that if you order cake or a cannoli, a cappuccino is only $2. This is an awesome value especially for the evening crowd. For old school Anne Arundel county and Annapolis locals, Mamma Roma's is better than the original Squisito's pizza -- and higher in quality -- but it is a bit reminiscent of that restaurant in terms of popularity and a family feel. Plus, I have never tried the pizza here, but I'm guessing it's good given the quality of the ingredients and preparations we experienced with the pasta dishes. One thing that also really stands out about Mamma Roma's is that they are the only Italian restaurant that is nestled back in the suburban Piney Orchard division of Gambrills. In other words, it's more neighborly there vs. other restaurants along the majorly-trafficked Route 3 corridor. The restaurants along Route 3 have many more transients coming in, given the ease of access, so they are naturally less neighborly. Finally, when we brought our leftovers from dinner home I set them on the kitchen table and left them for a bit. When I came back into our kitchen, it was filled with such delicious aromas! Friends, this is just how fresh the food at Mamma Roma's is. For a casual, counter service suburban, it is quite bellissima!

The restaurant was less than 7 miles from our hotel in Linthicum Heights. We got 3 huge slices of pizzas. They were three assorted slices, nice and hot. I'm not sure what kind they were but I had the slice with broccoli, spinach, fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, and white sauce. I'm not sure if this was the Veggie Primavera but it was darned good. I've never had broccoli on a pizza before and my taste sure isn't a veggie pizza, I do like some meat on them slices LoL! but I don't mind having another slice of this. Yum! Hubby ate the other two slices, he said one was a little spicy so I figured he had one with red roasted peppers on it and the 3rd slice had mushrooms. Wish I had tried their pastas too since they look mouthwatering but if we do get another chance to return to Baltimore I would love to to try their Penne Carbonara. It was a quiet evening in the restaurant. Customer service was great. Ample parking in a private lot. Instagram: @squisitopizzaandpasta Review #3660

Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst restaurant experiences we've had. Our waiter was extremely inattentive and confusing from the start. Several people at our table asked questions about a pasta dish that included meatballs and sausage, and none of us could get a straight explanation from him. He kept going around in circles trying to describe the dish, repeatedly mentioning there was a $2 difference depending on how many meatballs or sausage you received, but no one at the table could understand what he was actually explaining. In the end, both my sister and cousin basically gave up and just said, "Okay, whatever we want one meatball and one sausage." We later realized the "sausage" was actually ground sausage in the sauce -- not a sausage link as we had understood. He also repeatedly tried to upsell us on additional menu items we had clearly shown no interest in ordering. Instead of listening to what we actually wanted, it felt like he was more focused on pushing extra items onto the table. To make matters worse, my sister and cousin ordered the exact same dish, yet my sister received three meatballs while my cousin only received one. There was no explanation for the inconsistency. The service throughout the evening was terrible. Our waiter rarely checked on our table and disappeared for long stretches of time. We actually had to stop another employee walking by just to get boxes for our leftovers and a dessert menu. Meanwhile, the table next to us had a waitress who was attentive and constantly checking on them, which made the difference in service even more noticeable. At one point, our waiter mentioned they had a lot of walk-ins that evening. However, we had made reservations in advance for a birthday celebration, so that should not have affected the level of service we received. Even getting the check at the end took an unnecessarily long time after we finally managed to get his attention. Overall, the entire experience was disappointing, disorganized, and frustrating -- especially for what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner.
