The Treatery in Jamesport is a must stop while on the North Fork. The cookies are out of this world. My fave is the chocolate covered oatmeal raisin. A customer sitting next to me had their GRILLED CHEESE it looked so delicious. They greet you with a smile. They maybe a small store, but they pack a big punch for flavor. Ciao for Now. read more

Very cute bakery with indoor seating. My friend and I stopped by before closing so we got some baked goods and gelato to go. I got espresso chocolate chip gelato and it was delicious! A little hole-in-the-wall place, but it was quite good. I came here to grab a little dessert after lunch and was pleased. They had a decent selection of cookies, cake pops and other baked goods. The desserts themself are pretty sizable and taste very good. Service was friendly and knowledgable too. I did wish they did have labels to show what everything was in the display case. I couldn't be happier with the cake for my wedding--it was absolutely perfect in every way. From the very beginning, Dawn and Christina, listened so carefully to what I envisioned and brought it to life exactly as I had hoped. The design was stunning, beautifully detailed, and matched the style of our wedding perfectly. Not only did the cake look incredible, but it also tasted amazing! Guests kept coming up to us throughout the night to say how delicious it was, and many mentioned it was one of the best wedding cakes they'd ever had. Working with Treatery Long Island was such a wonderful experience--Christina was professional, kind, and truly passionate about her craft. I felt confident throughout the entire process that she cared just as much about the end result as I did, and she delivered flawlessly. High priced disappointment! I brought My wife here as she is the Sweets eater for a nice treat! Not! Not much of a variety other than the prices High & Higher! To add insult to injury there were a few loafs of bread that look interesting, there was a sign in front of the bread that said "ask for a sample"! As I was the bread eater ,I asked my wife to get a sample ! So as to decide what loaf or loafs of bread to buy! The girl said Oh we can't give u a sample as we get the bread from an outside vendor & cut it up for samples! They don't even bake their own bread!!! What a joke ! Why put up a sign like that ,if you are not going to stand by it!?? A business that is self absorbed in itself you know customer service is going to be negligible! By far, my favorite bakery for treats out eat! My addiction is those delectable cookies, particularly the triple chocolate chip, and the peanut butter (chocolate) chip. I was never a big peanut butter cookie fan until I encountered the ones from the Treatery. Literally a game changer and life changer...... the best peanut butter chip cookie you will have! I've developed an immense addiction to the triple chocolate chip as well. They have delicious cupcakes and a host of other goodies and treats that you must treat yourself to ( has appropriately named) when venturing out to the Hamptons, the North Fork, etc., anywhere out east! As it's winter and I'm currently in Manhattan, I ordered some via mail order. They arrived in the best packaging assortment. The tastiest decision I could possibly make! Just as delicious and fresh as if I went into the bake shop and got them personally. Even if you can't get out there to pick them up firsthand, I recommend ordering a dozen or two or more to cure any sweet tooth craving you have. I love these cookies so much and I am so happy I can get these in the winter months that I'm stuck in Manhattan. read more

Paid $15 for two small cookies smaller than a fist and a croissant monkey bread thing. Ridiculous... and the cookies are completely raw on the inside. Don't waste your money here for $15 i could have just had cookie dough out of the bag. Really disappointing. Service was fine though. read more

I drive from selden to Jamesport just for this grilled cheese and the cookies they have are an added bonus. The inside is so cute with the flower wall and wood! I cannot recommend this business enough, I drove out there and unfortunately they were not opening for another 2 hours- I reach out to the owner just stating I was sad, because she deserves to know how good her grilled cheeses are- and he gave me her personal number for next time- and I went back and she made it completely right, not that's that was what I was looking for but she is an amazing business owner and I will continue to support her small business over and over! The Website and several local articles advertised "The Treatery after Dark" open Sunday and Monday evenings 7-11. We pulled up on Sunday evening July 16th at 8 pm. The minute we stepped up to the door the lights went out. We were looking forward to enjoying a sweet treat after dinner . Not happy with the early closure on an advertised time. read more

Stopped today on the way to the ferry. Although it was early afternoon, there was very little selection. I bought 4 lemon ricotta cookies. They were fine, tasted more like almond extract than lemon. The bad part? $16 for 4 small cookies. Ridiculous price, won't be coming back. read more
