Maria is soft-spoken and kind, and the food is always top notch. Service can be slow at the counter, they have been understaffed a few times while I was there, just Dean and Maria. But the food is worth the wait. On another night, eight of us ate in the dining room, which is very attractive, and the food was excellent! They took down my name and number, and said they would reach out if they were located. I think he should have checked their camera systems right then. Seriously speaking, it was either an employee or a patron - as a business owner, I'd want to be sure of which, because if you have a patron that regularly visits and cases people's belongings, I'd want to know so that I can refuse service to them. Conversely, if the perpetrator is an employee, that's even worse, because that means they have the audacity to steal while at work which means they'll steal right from under my nose. I don't like the idea of having to worry about leaving something at a business and not having it returned to me because the problem is coming from inside the house. I've never had this happen before. I'm wondering now, what would happen if I left my wallet or credit card? Besides the aforementioned quality issues with the food, when the bill came the price was more than 50% higher than the special was priced at. I asked the waitress why. She said those two tacos were not included. I said to her, "You told me they were!?" She repeated "No they weren't" and she called someone from behind the counter over to the table. The situation was explained, the other person repeated "Sorry sir, they are not included" and didn't care that their waitress said they were (the waitress admitted she said that!) and they charged me full price despite the misinformation they gave me. No apology, no doing the right thing, nothing. I paid the bill, left, and have not been back. In summation: The food was so-so. The service was not good. The attitude was poor.
