I had an outstanding experience at the Triple Lindy on a recent trip to Portland. It was cold and rainy outside, but from the time I opened the door to the time I left, the entire staff made me feel like a regular. I spent enough on pinball to keep this place in business for the next two months. Do I regret it? No. That was time and money well spent asserting my dominance on the the Iron Maiden pinball machine and landing myself on the leaderboard. After downing two perfectly-made Hendricks martinis, I was getting hungry so I ordered a breakfast burrito. It arrived after my third martini and so I was struggling a bit to focus at that point, but I could swear it looked just like a toddler's fat leg! I suppressed a scream and took a tentative bite. It seemed harmless, so I ate this child leg of a burrito and was relieved to find that it tasted just like a regular burrito. I believe in my heart to this day, based on taste alone, that it was filled with egg and sausage as the menu promised. If it was, in fact, a child's leg, then it has awakened with me feelings that I will struggle to process until the day I die because it was absolutely delicious. Breakfast is served all day!

We stopped by the Triple Lindy for drinks because it was only a couple blocks north of our Airbnb house on NW Johnson St. The Triple Lindy is a bar on the corner of 17th and Lovejoy in Portland's Slabtown neighborhood. I liked this place because of its warm, cozy atmosphere and friendly service. This is a small, local, neighborhood joint that feels "basement-like" in that you walk down into the bar from street level, it has a low ceiling and concrete floor, and the space was dimly lit. We visited on a Friday around 4:45 to 5:45pm. It was expectedly quiet at that time. When we arrived, there were just a couple older ladies at the bar and another woman, with her dog, working on her laptop at one of the tables inside the dining room (this place is dog friendly). Our group of 10 took over the tables in the corner by the bar and a couple of us (me) sat at the bar. I wish I'd gotten our bartender's name so I could mention it here. He was great. I felt comfortable and enjoyed the humble, low-key vibe. It wasn't loud and everyone, staff and patrons alike, were nice. They had a TV playing sports, pinball machines, and outdoor sidewalk seating. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday, 10am-2pm. I'd come back. The Triple Lindy originally opened in 2013.

A very friendly neighborhood bar where everybody is accepted, and the food is great! Recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a great time.

This a great little dive bar. Sierra was so attentive and helpful, suggesting all sorts of N/A options. Great vibe and relatively busy for a Monday night. My husband and I will definitely be back.

There is covered heated seating outside alongside the bar. Order at the bar before you grab a seat. The highlight of the menu is the Single Smash burger for $8, you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't try it. The sesame seed bun really puts the burger over the top. We got our food pretty fast and there was a good amount of people. Recommend dining in ordering to go, if you are in a rush. my mouth is watering writing this review, I'll be back for more soon!

Typical neighborhood bar and was filled with locals when we got here around midnight .I have also seen a lot of people here during the day time and they double up as a brunch spot too with a lot of options. We however just snuck in for some late night drinks because well.... nothing else was either open or was too damn crowded. We were a big group so we hung out near the bar as none of the seats were open at the time. I stuck to straight up alcohol and my friends had beers and shots. The staff is chill and friendly . They also host a Trivia Night every Monday at 7:30pm hosted by the pros at Geeks Who Drink.

Fantastic neighborhood bar with late night food and friendly staff. Refrigerator full of other beverages if you don't like something on draft or mixed. Don't forget there are TVs to watch your favorite...

Ordered the burger and tots. The tots were really good. Very crispy, a large portion to share. Burger was okay.

Discovering The Triple Lindy was one of the nicest surprises of moving to the Pearl post-pandemic (an area which, like much of downtown Portland, has seen numerous closures of beloved shops, pubs, and restaurants -- most of which continue to sit dormant still). In this era of inflation where everything is obscenely expensive, Lindy has shockingly affordable food a-- which somehow also happens to be the best food we've come across in the area. With TILT (sadly) being another victim of the pandemic, Lindy is the last standing for McDonalds-but-actually-good pub grub: the burger ($6 for a single, $9 for a double -- whaaat) which is essentially a (good) Big Mac without an (unnecessary) extra bun, and the fries (best $5 you'll ever spend, which are the non-soggy-well-salted-but-also-with-pepper equivalent) have spoiled me for fries anywhere else in this city (the incredible sides of ranch, too, are the perfect dip). Likewise for the breakfast sandwiches. Last (for food), the Club: if you enjoy a Club sandwich, you owe it to yourself to try Lindy's; it is perfection. The pours are also the best I've come across downtown for well drinks, and the glasses (a small detail, it may seem) are supremely satisfying to hodl in one's hand. The staff is fantastic as well, and always extremely kind and gracious: may The Triple Lindy be the rare spot in the downtown Portland area that does not close.

I had a Spicy Vegetarian Burger and it was pretty good, next time I would probably try the Classic version. The pickles and sauce were good and the impossible patty was great. My sister thought her classic burger was solid, but she would have liked a little more sauce. Keep in mind that she likes a lottt of sauce. The bun was a little too big for her burger patty too, but overall it was tasty and all the flavors complemented each other. Ambiance-wise there was nice decor and plenty of seating options! The blinds kept out a lot of natural light but we were able to lift them a bit so it wasn't a problem! You clear your own plates and order when you arrive after you have looked over the menu so service doesn't feel super applicable but everyone was friendly and welcoming.

While they weren't as crispy as I would've wanted - I would say while some parts were, most of it was on the softer side - I did think that they were seasoned excellently. They also paired quite well with the mayo-based sauces we received. Moving onto the burger, I really enjoyed this. When I've had tofu on a burger in the past - it's usually been in smaller pieces - so getting such a massive piece that sticks out on either end of the burger was really nice. In addition, the breading was good - while not super-present. I quite liked the fact that it was very lightly breaded - meaning the huge patty was like 95% tofu - leaving the tofu to stand on its own as the majority of the bite. The buns were alright - I'm not big into vegan buns - but I didn't mind these The mustard sauce was also pretty good I will say, although I did order the Mr. Onion burger so I should've known what I was getting myself into, but there were just way too many onions on this burger. It was to the point where they absolutely dominated the taste of my first bite. I had to remove a lot of them from the bottom of the burger to actually make this edible. For the price, it is a bit expensive - but it's also quite filling so I didn't mind it. I also have to mention - because my burger was late, as a gift they brought out a full set of pastries/cookies in a box. This was incredibly surprising and something I've never seen another restaurant do. Major props for that

We had ordered a 3 piece honey gochujang wings with extra celery and carrots. I also wanted to try their fish and chips. I substituted my fries for Parmesan Garlic Fries. My fiancé ordered their Gyro burger. We washed down our food with delicious beers. Their food was good and quick. I really liked their ranch dressing because it's not typical. Their fish was fresh and crispy, too. We left Deschutes feeling full and content. The only change I'd make is how the garlic Parmesan fries were, but that's me. I still believe it's worth a visit when you're visiting the area, especially if you're also a beer fanatic like I am!

We had the coffee (Extracto, love.), I had a really good hef and my mother a very well balanced Bellini that I was very pleasantly surprised with trying. Vibe wise, the ambience is overall really nice. I think having rolled flatware, even with just upgraded napkins, would better complete the aesthetic you initially see and feel. This would also connect with the price point of the food and quality of the beverages. As a fellow server, on that note I would expect more consistent stronger visual appearance standards with servers. (Sorry guys! But some of you looked great!)
