My partner and I did the ATV experience at Umauma Falls and it was out of my comfort zone for sure but so much fun! The guides, Chloe, Kip, and Amanda were so patient with me as I had never rode an ATV before and had to adjust to how touchy the gas was lol. They never made me feel embarrassed or like I was holding up the group. They even let me ride in the back so I didn't have to worry about holding up the faster folks in the group, which saved me some embarrassment and really let me go at my own pace while keeping up with the group. I truly appreciated their kindness and the fact that they would check in on me to make sure I was having a good time. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone, it was never something I thought I would enjoy, but Chloe, Kip, and Amanda made sure I had a good time and got the hang of it! read more

If zip lining is something you're interested in, I highly, highly, 150 feet highly recommend you check out Umuana Falls Zipline!! Such an amazing, kind, responsible crew running the 2 miles worth of zip line. We arrived around 9:30 (road signage needs some help because GPS doesn't deliver you to the correct location, and they could put up more road signs to help you out), and checked in. After about 20 minutes we we escorted to the area where they fit you with helmets and harness. Then they load you into vans and drive you up to the top of a mountain where you'll start off on your zip line adventure, over gorgeous waterfalls, rivers and fruit orchards going anywhere from 20-45 mph. Heights ranging from around 35 feet from the ground to over 150 feet above a river, it's all really exciting and fun if you're a thrill seeker. Highly recommend!! read more

Not only were these people so nice, but the zip lining was incredible as well. We originally booked a zip and dip experience. I got a call a few days before our reservation and was told that a cow died in the river so the dip part of our trip had to be cancelled. They were very apologetic and refunded me immediately. Another reservation we had with another company wanted us to change our date and when I called Umauma they were very accommodating and let me change my reservation TWICE all while being very polite on the phone and never charged me for altering my plans. The views from the zipline were incredible and the lines were long and went fast. Great experience! I would definitely go again. Company seems well run and organized. read more

Can you say "tourist trap"? This is awful. They let you drive around in a circle going 4 miles an hour. One and a half hours? Try 40 minutes at best. They are looking for things to kill the time. They spend 20 minutes having you to walk down to see a tiny rapid on the water while they give you a bag of chips and a can of juice. This is what they call their "waterfall and lunch" part of the experience. What a joke. Don't get caught like we did. read more

Writing this review on the mid line break. This is an amazing experience!! Scary? Well, only your first jump. By the time you hit your 3rd line your ready to start spinning and flipping upside down. Some of these views can not be replaced by anything elae. This is a must. Just tell them you got a $20 off coupon and they give it right to you. Guides are great. My husband, brother, parents (in their 70s), and future SIL all did the Zipline tour and it was AMAZING! The crew was entertaining and clearly passionate about their jobs. The whole thing lasts about 2 hours and you're free to take as many pictures and videos as you want. No need to pay extra for the professional shots. Definitely the best zipline experience I've ever had. I've done a few tirolesas in Mexico but the energy Hoggie & Skippy had the entire way through guiding was super contagious! This tour was amazing! The scenery is beautiful, the grounds are immaculately kept, and the guides are excellent. Sydney, Rusty, and Cayden made our day. The whole trip felt special, intimate and private unlike many group rides that can feel "touristy". If you ever come to Hawaii, I highly suggest this wonderful adventure. The guides are really friendly, fun, and make you feel safe throughout the adventure. You take a van to the very top and then go down around 11 ziplines. All of them have amazing views, so when yor on the ride, make sure to look around and enjoy the view. Don't be scared, it's safe! Also, make sure you wear shoes that can get dirty, there is a chance your shoes can get dirty! So just incase wear some shoes that aren't white. Enjoy the fun! :) read more

We did the zipline a few years ago, so we came back this time to do the 4-person UTV for the ATV experience. Although the person who greeted us wasn't the most welcoming, Chloe and Austin were excellent guides and we had a wonderful time especially jumping into the water by the waterfalls. We were filthy, which was expected and the showers were great to clean up before we left. We look forward to visiting Umauma again in the future! read more

The ziplining was fun and the guides were great. The surronding area was nice and the employees in shop/checkin were friendly. But seemed a little expensive for what you get. Yes, you get 9 zip lines, but that is all. Yes, some of the lines were over beautiful scenery, but not all. No real hiking, story telling or history lessons given. So if you are looking for just plain ol ziplining with no frills, then this would be place. I just found a little boring and repetitive, no real variety. read more
