For a change up we decided to get the turkey with stuffing burger. What we got was a note scrawled on the container they were out of the stuffing for it. We got a mediocre frozen turkey patty with gravy and bacon and a soggy awful mess. I'm calling them tomorrow to get a refund or a comp for next time because this was truly a disaster and just plain gross. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. They have gorgeous dining rooms, lounges, private meeting rooms and a room on the top floor called "Club 77" with a fully stocked bar and billiard/snooker table. The building was built in the 1800s. A lot of the original hardwood is still there. Each room is beautifully decorated with a mix of antiques and modern art. My favorite room is the "Crystal Room" for dining. The chandeliers are breathtaking, especially when the sunlight from the window hits them. The general manager, Archie, could not possibly be nicer. He is so friendly and truly happy to see returning patrons. He is always willing to give a brief, but informative, tour of the building to our guests. He knows everything there is to know about the history of the club. The Club has several member events each year. My favorites are Lobster Night, Pasta Night, and the Wine Festival event. The food is always made with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. The wine and desserts are also phenomenal! Finally, the service is flawless. The servers are polite and personable. I would definitely recommend this club to anybody looking to join a professional, but down to earth country club.
