Bouillabaisse- didn't like bc not really bouillabaisse
Rose P.

Our reservation was Saturday at 7. We were seated right away and well taken care of. Smoked salmon was excellent. I really enjoyed my seafood pasta- large shrimp and good flavorful sauce. Hubby had steak, said it was excellent. We were surprised with cheesecake for our anniversary. Cheesecake was delicious with a great crust. Only let down was the seafood bouillabaisse- it was not a bouillabaisse. Our server had wanted to make sure I knew it was tomato based. So seems like others did not expect or like? It was like an almost bland gumbo or chowder with small pieces of seafood. The bread and butter was great! The butter comes in a fancy shape like an ear of corn. Fancy! Another extra was when the photographer presented with our pictures for review- our 17th anniversary was printed on it. That was an extra touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and also went up to the observation deck afterwards. Of course the view was amazing. And an excellent pianist started while we were eating dessert. We had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Pretty restaurant with an amazing view of the falls. Food was good. Parking was convenient and cheap for the area. Service was good. Server recognized our recent engagement and ordered us a free cheesecake which was very nice.

On top of the Niagara in love.

Getting up here is expensive unless you have a prior lunch/dinner reservation but we were just looking for a couple of drinks and experience the great views. So we paid the high dues and sat at the bar, Kayla was super nice and talkative, we got great drinks plus good recommendations on what to do next. The views are spectacular and the French Soup very good.

This is an amazing experience... good food, excellent service & world class ambience. They will take souvenir photos before going to the restaurant & while dining in.... $35 for 2 photos. Just ask the waiter to take a photo of u instead of buying lol

My significant other and I really enjoyed our meal here. The Skylon Tower admission is included with at least a $52 entree purchase per person (wish they said that at the dining reservation check in counter). We noticed that on the menu... Even the server did not mention anything as our first intention was to only have an app or share some apps before going to dinner elsewhere. The service was of cruise ship quality. They were professional and doing their job. I was impressed overall. The food was enjoyable. It was a a bit pricy but I guess you're paying for the views experience (which was excellent). We had dinner (two entrees only, no drinks, apps, or desserts) for $158 USD including tip. (At least the entree included some veggies.) The quality was good although a tad basic and not incredibly hot. It's definitely worth trying once (maybe come during the day if they have a daytime menu if you're looking to save money). They had a photographer before you go up and going around taking photos at the dinner table for a cost. We bought two photos. Definitely a hot spot place for tourists!

We visited the Skylon Tower and discovered they have a revolving dining area. We decided to just have a drink at their bar and we were so happy we did. Our server was extremely friendly and even took a picture with us. While getting our drinks, the elevator Assistant came and took a picture with us as well. Everyone was so friendly and we enjoyed our drinks and ordered a couple of plates of french fries. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

Idk why this place has such low ratings. While the pricing seems a bit high, we account that for the free observation deck visit after your meal and the fact it's a revolving dining room by the falls. We were a party of 3 and the staff was very nice and generous. The dim lit dining was perfect for the atmosphere yet with the lights it still obscured the view to the falls at night but the free observation deck visit after proved fruitful for photos. Now the food... I order the seared scallops appetizer, my other half ordered the escargot appetizer and my dad ordered the seafood soup. The scallops were not seared at all and hidden under a blanket of spinach and cheese, this was fine until the crabmeat, which was not tasteful at all. I do not like crabmeat, i love crab handpicked from the shell, not picked out and cooked later on. The scallops were however perfectly cooked and i did my best to eat around the crabmeat. The escargot was perfectly seasoned and had that perfect bite to them. I did not try the seafood soup as it just didn't look good to me. My dad did thoroughly enjoy it though. For entrees we ordered the prime rib, rack of lamb and filet mignon, we also got a side of mushrooms and Spanish caramelized onions . All of us enjoyed our meals with the accompanied vegetable and potato as well. The roasted tomato on my plate was bad but the one my father had was good. Overall it's worth the view and we even spoiled ourselves with some Icewine.

As part of a gift from our family, we dined here when we were in Niagara falls. The place is definitely good for the view as you get a really good view of the falls. You also get to explore the tower as well We had reservations for 5 so we were able to do their early dinner special which is a 3 course meal for a fixed price. We got the beef stroganoff, the salad, bread and a chocolate mousse. We also got a side of lobster and the escargot. The food was ok, not the best quality in my opinion. My favorite was probably the bread. It's definitely pricy. Service was good though.

Seafood pasta. Looks good, but it was super bland.

Definitely do not recommend!! Save your money and eat elsewhere and then pay the $13 to visit the Observatory deck. For the price, I would have expected better food and service. Food - we ordered the prime rib, salmon, seafood pasta and the New York steak and let's just say, the star of the show was the butter in the beginning. The prime rib and New York steak came out with uncooked broccoli, the seafood pasta was extremely bland and the steaks weren't cooked as preferred. There was nothing special about the ordered dishes. They were just mediocre at best. Service - Definitely not up to par. I would of had better service at a Dennys. Not only was our order incorrect (we ordered our prime rib well done and it came out medium rare while we ordered our New York steak medium rare and it came out well done) but Vinny was not personable at all. He did the bare minimum just to get his job done. I wish I had tipped $0 and I should have given it to the elevator attendants instead. Overall, you're paying for the experience so don't expect quality and lower your expectations.

The famous revolving dining room atop the Skylon Tower. This is definitely one of those restaurants where you are paying for the view and not so much the quality of the food. I have to say though, the food tasted much better this time around than during my previous visit in 1993! The hefty cost of the menu items are much more palatable when you consider that the cost of admission to the observation deck (19 CAD/adult) is included in the cost of the meal!

Almost all of the tables have a falls view. The food was awesome. We ordered the fixed 3 course meal and so glad we did. We started with brussel sprouts and super salad. We were in heaven. 2nd course was the pasta, short ribs and upgraded to pork chops. We were all happy with our choices. The only critic would be my broccolini. It looked overcooked. Desserts were to die for. Went for the cheesecake and the strawberry rhubarb. Can't go wrong with any of the dessert choices. I highly recommend this place. Food is also very good as well (even though it is a little pricey)! I would keep in mind that their menu seems to change but we got: Superfood Salad - fresh veggies with a sweet sauce and extra fruit and nuts! very good Braised Ontario AAA Beef Short Rib - tender short rib with a deliciously tangy chimichurri sauce and smooth mashed potatoes and broccolini Green Goddess Orecchiette Pasta - a light but creamy pasta that is very subtley but layered in flavoring! 16oz Cowboy Ribeye Steak (medium) - nicely cooked and seasoned steak, nothing to complain about! Berry Palmer - non-alcoholic, it was a lemonade combined with some berries and super refreshing during the heat Maple Pecan Cheesecake - a smooth and delightful cheesecake with a layer of maple pecan on top, would def recommend trying if you don't have nut allergies

I got it decompressed as I have dietary restrictions. Unfortunately the ingredients didn't seem fresh. Mango mushy, green onions brown, cucumbers dried up, carrots brown. We wanted refills on our beverages, but server was busy. By the time drinks were refilled and another pint was brought, we were done with our food. We still managed to tip the server. Massive menu of burgers, spanning a range of style from thick to smash, flames to griddle, and even typed of meat or non-meat. Quite frankly, if you can't find a burger that calls to you here, you must be very difficult to please. It was a Sunday, and the general area was thumping, this place was about half full and the vibe was relaxed. They're not on the absolutely main drag of Clifton Hill, and honestly, I would hope that benefits them both in price of rent and who might find it easy to wander in. There is paid parking nearby, cheaper than most because to get down to the falls is a bit of a hike. The hike back will be pretty far uphill, but we made it no problem. I love that the sodas come in a giant measuring cup, not much need for a refill, but they do give them complimentary if you ask for one. We started with standard poutine as an appetizer, it was really tasty. Nice flavor on the gravy, and a large amount of cheese curds. Instead of getting more fries as a side, went for a caesar salad. Was surprised to see bacon on it, but I definitely didn't hate that. It was quite good. I got a double smash burger with a nice thick onion ring on it and their version of burger sauce, as well as a spice relish to kick things up a notch. First thing, my patties were smashed very nicely, and there was a clear crispy crust on them. Bravo, I was pretty impressed, and the flavor was robust. I loved the spicy relish, and the bun also complemented the meat well. It was a big burger, and I was thoroughly satisfied. The service, maybe could have been slightly more attentive, but really just took awhile to take our order. Once it was taken, we had no complaints. Very friendly, everything was accurate, and like I said... big drink cups means not a ton of need for refills. I would come back here again on a future visit to the falls.

I got into Canada early, so I decided to go have some lunch. I walked in, and immediately felt like I just came home. The bartender, this lovely young woman named Onya, came up and took my order. I ordered a black and tan. She suggested I go for the smooth black and tan which I did. It did not disappoint! I may have to have my black and tans like this for the rest of my life. I ordered a cup of the buffalo wing chowder, and she said it's one of the most popular items on the menu. I asked her to bring that out first before my Classic Caesar salad. Let me tell you something about that soup. Now I'm not a big soup guy, but I do like chowders, and this was the absolute best I've ever had. Had. I've had clam chowder all over the United States but man this one absolutely nails it! It has that buffalo wing flavor which just perfect and not overpowering. I should have gotten the bigger bowl of it instead of the cup. Now let's talk about the Caesar salad. It was absolutely perfect! It had the perfect ratio of dressing to lettuce, not just poured on top like most places but actually tossed. Onya said she did it herself, so massive kudos for her going above and beyond the call of duty. Overall this meal hit on all cylinders and did not disappoint. I will definitely be back here a couple more times while I'm in Canada. If you need to find me, you know where to find me. The bottom line? You really need to get the buffalo chicken wing chowder.
