8/2026: An update: We returned again for a birthday dinner, and again we experienced the thrill when stepping into the revolving restaurant. Although DH ordered exactly the same meal as before, I wanted to see what else the kitchen could do. Wow! The shrimp cocktail appetizer was enormous and sweet, and the Tiger prawns were perfectly cooked. The rack of lamb (four ribs) was tender, with a Dijon mustard and herbs coating, which was spectacular. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! read more

Fining dining with views of the Falls for my mom's birthday! Both our servers were great - attentive, thorough, friendly and authoritatively respectful.. we definitely stayed over the 90 mins.. simply such a pleasure. In addition they charged both our phones while we ate. Such good customer service! Be aware of the per person spend minimum CAD54. Included in dining is a visit to the Skylon Observation Deck, which we enjoyed upto the falls illumination. Clam Chowder... clam worthy Chefs choice - app, entree and dessert selections for set price.. worth it! I had salad, I didn't so much like the salad dressing; Filet with béarnaise potatoes & broccoli ( not tender at all) .. the entree overall was good, I did season it more with salt however. I have to give this place 5 stars for the incredible view. That said, the food was a bit disappointing. The complimentary bread arrived cold and seemed like it had been sitting out for quite a while. When we were served a second basket later, it was warm and tasted much better. The salad portion was limited and didn't feel worth the price. The meat from the New York steak was dry to chew and lacked seasoning. Overall, you're really paying for the view rather than the food. If you're looking for the stunning scenery, it's definitely worth a visit--but I wouldn't come here expecting an exceptional meal. read more

They have a parking lot but we walked over from our hotel. We booked a reservation at 9 PM to try and get a view of the fireworks at 10. We didn't realize but we were sat at a booth on the inside of the revolving area so we didn't get a window. There weren't any instructions in how to get a window seat but we had overhead that you could wait with a pager and that the waiting list was long. Over the course of our meal, we saw a handful of tables sit empty for 10-15 minutes. So on that note, we were disappointed as there wasn't too much of a view. It was also quite warm in the restaurant. We did completely miss the fireworks too. Service was good. They were friendly and attentive. The food was partially a disappointment. We ordered the Burgundy Escargot and that was very good, the sauce was very flavorful. For our dinner, we ordered the Tomahawk Pork Chop which was recommended to be cooked to Medium and the Seafood Pasta. We also ordered a side of Sauteed Tiger Shrimp. The Pork Chop was definitely more of a Medium well and was dry. It also wasn't very flavorful and neither were the rice, the broccoli or the tomato on the plate. My husband's seafood pasta was also lacking flavor and some of the seafood was a little overcooked but more flavorful than the pork chop. Both dishes, in my opinion, were overpriced for what was offered. The tiger shrimp, also a tad overcooked, was flavorful at least. For our dessert, we ordered the Freshly Baked Vanilla Cheesecake and that was good but not sure if I'd come back or maybe do the buffet which was completely empty. read more

Our reservation was Saturday at 7. We were seated right away and well taken care of. Smoked salmon was excellent. I really enjoyed my seafood pasta- large shrimp and good flavorful sauce. Hubby had steak, said it was excellent. We were surprised with cheesecake for our anniversary. Cheesecake was delicious with a great crust. Only let down was the seafood bouillabaisse- it was not a bouillabaisse. Our server had wanted to make sure I knew it was tomato based. So seems like others did not expect or like? It was like an almost bland gumbo or chowder with small pieces of seafood. The bread and butter was great! The butter comes in a fancy shape like an ear of corn. Fancy! Another extra was when the photographer presented with our pictures for review- our 17th anniversary was printed on it. That was an extra touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and also went up to the observation deck afterwards. Of course the view was amazing. And an excellent pianist started while we were eating dessert. Getting up here is expensive unless you have a prior lunch/dinner reservation but we were just looking for a couple of drinks and experience the great views. So we paid the high dues and sat at the bar, Kayla was super nice and talkative, we got great drinks plus good recommendations on what to do next. My significant other and I really enjoyed our meal here. The Skylon Tower admission is included with at least a $52 entree purchase per person (wish they said that at the dining reservation check in counter). We noticed that on the menu... Even the server did not mention anything as our first intention was to only have an app or share some apps before going to dinner elsewhere. The service was of cruise ship quality. They were professional and doing their job. I was impressed overall. The food was enjoyable. It was a a bit pricy but I guess you're paying for the views experience (which was excellent). We had dinner (two entrees only, no drinks, apps, or desserts) for $158 USD including tip. (At least the entree included some veggies.) The quality was good although a tad basic and not incredibly hot. It's definitely worth trying once (maybe come during the day if they have a daytime menu if you're looking to save money). They had a photographer before you go up and going around taking photos at the dinner table for a cost. We bought two photos. Definitely a hot spot place for tourists! read more

We visited the Skylon Tower and discovered they have a revolving dining area. We decided to just have a drink at their bar and we were so happy we did. Our server was extremely friendly and even took a picture with us. While getting our drinks, the elevator Assistant came and took a picture with us as well. The view is outstanding; HOWEVER, several of my family members were served cold food. My one daughter's soup and salmon came cold, and my other daughter's pasta was cold and sent back. My husband's entire meal was cold: soup, salmon (both entrees because he sent it back once when the rice was refrigerated cold & the replacement), & his crème brûlée. As part of a gift from our family, we dined here when we were in Niagara falls. The place is definitely good for the view as you get a really good view of the falls. You also get to explore the tower as well We had reservations for 5 so we were able to do their early dinner special which is a 3 course meal for a fixed price. We got the beef stroganoff, the salad, bread and a chocolate mousse. We also got a side of lobster and the escargot. The food was ok, not the best quality in my opinion. Idk why this place has such low ratings. While the pricing seems a bit high, we account that for the free observation deck visit after your meal and the fact it's a revolving dining room by the falls. We were a party of 3 and the staff was very nice and generous. The dim lit dining was perfect for the atmosphere yet with the lights it still obscured the view to the falls at night but the free observation deck visit after proved fruitful for photos. Now the food... I order the seared scallops appetizer, my other half ordered the escargot appetizer and my dad ordered the seafood soup. The scallops were not seared at all and hidden under a blanket of spinach and cheese, this was fine until the crabmeat, which was not tasteful at all. I do not like crabmeat, i love crab handpicked from the shell, not picked out and cooked later on. The scallops were however perfectly cooked and i did my best to eat around the crabmeat. The escargot was perfectly seasoned and had that perfect bite to them. I did not try the seafood soup as it just didn't look good to me. My dad did thoroughly enjoy it though. For entrees we ordered the prime rib, rack of lamb and filet mignon, we also got a side of mushrooms and Spanish caramelized onions . All of us enjoyed our meals with the accompanied vegetable and potato as well. The roasted tomato on my plate was bad but the one my father had was good. Definitely do not recommend!! Save your money and eat elsewhere and then pay the $13 to visit the Observatory deck. For the price, I would have expected better food and service. Food - we ordered the prime rib, salmon, seafood pasta and the New York steak and let's just say, the star of the show was the butter in the beginning. The prime rib and New York steak came out with uncooked broccoli, the seafood pasta was extremely bland and the steaks weren't cooked as preferred. There was nothing special about the ordered dishes. They were just mediocre at best. Service - Definitely not up to par. I would of had better service at a Dennys. Not only was our order incorrect (we ordered our prime rib well done and it came out medium rare while we ordered our New York steak medium rare and it came out well done) but Vinny was not personable at all. He did the bare minimum just to get his job done. I wish I had tipped $0 and I should have given it to the elevator attendants instead. Overall, you're paying for the experience so don't expect quality and lower your expectations. read more

The food wasn't great for the price they charged. Dinos the server wasn't pleasant. When we first checked, the waitress asked if we were celebrating anything. It was my wife's and i's 25 anniversary. But we were seated in the second row away from the window view. So what's the point in asking if we weren't going to get something special. My wife ordered a couple of appetizers for dinner. Well, apparently you can do that, we needed to order at least three appetizers. The prime rib I ordered medium rare came out Moe medium to well done and dry. It was tough to eat. It was busy and there job seem to get people in and out as quickly as possible. They turn tables very quickly and we felt rushed. The neighboring diner had his pork chops sent back because it wasn't cooked enough. If decide to go here. You're mostly going for the view.... Not the food, service or the price. The famous revolving dining room atop the Skylon Tower. This is definitely one of those restaurants where you are paying for the view and not so much the quality of the food. I have to say though, the food tasted much better this time around than during my previous visit in 1993! We were able to make a last minute reservation for a party of 3 on a Friday (the stars had aligned). When you enter the building there are 2 gift shops downstairs and an arcade in the basement. They ask that you wait until 15 minutes before your reservation to get your reservation tickets. Keep in mind there are dinner and observation reservations (each require a ticket). You then wait in line to enter the glass door elevators that take you up to the restaurant. It was a bit chaotic as there are several groups entering and exiting the elevators. We were seated within 5 minutes. The view is spectacular. The restaurant revolves within 365 degrees in an hour; which allows time for photos. We ordered the calamari, garlic bread, salmon entree, prime rib entree and New York strip entree; they each were cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. They give you free bread w/ butter after ordering. The alcoholic drinks ranged between $10-$14 (pending the drink). Overall an amazing experience but keep in mind it is an experience so the cost is pricey. They do have parking, they have a kids menú and if you have dinner reservations; the observation deck is free. read more

Let's be honest. You're here for the view of Niagara Falls. The view itself is 5 stars. For $50-60, you get to dine in a revolving room. The whole thing revolves 360 degrees in about an hour. Just don't expect a fine dining experience. Food was tasty, but lacking in creativity. The sides were all the same for all three entrees we had been offered. Service was unwelcoming and when we would request things - like getting our water refilled or for milk instead of creamer for our coffee - our waitress looked annoyed by our requests. What we didn't expect was the hostile rude waiter, Saad, who threw bread on our table, complained we didn't order enough food and crumpled when we asked him to split our check. I am a 49-year-old single mother with 3 young kids. I took my kids on trip to Niagara to celebrate my divorce and had the prime rib a few nights ago. All the kids got sick but we only had one restroom. It wasn't easy taking 3 kids on a trip by myself and now we all had to wear diapers and it was a disaster looking over the three kids. I'll start by agreeing with the other reviewers that you aren't coming here for the best meal of your life. However the food is definitely better than the other reviews are giving it credit for. Atmosphere - the obvious part first: the views are amazing, particularly when the falls light up at night. Staff - we were really impressed with the staff here. Everyone went above and beyond to make our experience great, especially because we had two young kids with us. The hostess found a way to allow us to keep our stroller at the table so our infant could try to sleep in it. When he didn't and started to cry, the server covered up my wife's dinner to keep it from getting cold while she walked him around to comfort him. Even the piano player started to play kids songs when my two year old was waving hello to him. We really appreciated how thoughtful and accommodating everyone was. It's not easy trying to have a nice dinner with two little ones so it's really great when the staff does what they can to help out. Food - it's not going to win any awards but it is was still very good! We both had the French onion soup and the sirloin steaks. The streaks were cooked well and the sauce had a lot of flavor. They definitely met our expectations. The chocolate mousse for dessert was very good as well. I will say that a kids meal being $20 is pretty absurd on paper but I get why they do it. I'm torn with this place. The view is 5 stars. The filet is 5 stars. The side dishes and meal presentation are 1 star. I mean no seasoning at all. And what is with the Cheeto looking dust on the sliced tomato? I've never seen that. One broccoli floret and two sad potatoes. I'm not a chef but I honestly think I could've put together a better presentation or more exciting side dishes. The service was 2 stars. Waiter was nice but sort of absent after taking drink and food orders. He was also very casual, had a sort of slang with his words as if we were high school friends at the lunch table.
