On July 27th, 2016 I went to the UPS store located on 2034 E Lincoln Ave Anaheim, CA 92806, which is Store # 0555 to deliver a package to FL. I paid $41.85 for my packaged to be delivered to its destination. I received a call on August 2nd, 2016, from Joey @ store #0555 on the day the package was to arrive at its destination, and was told that UPS had opened up a claim, because the package was damaged. The claim number that was given to me was claim# 50372458, and I was told that they were going to investigate the issue. I advised them of the merchandise in the box was valued at $9,673 and that we wanted photos of the damaged box, so that we can see if any of our medical supplies could be salvaged. Joey@ store #0555 said he would give the information to whomever opened the claim. I did push to find out if it was corporate or the location where it said the package had been damaged, but didn't get a clear response. We never received a call from Joey or anyone at store #0555, I had to call them on multiple occasions to get some answers, but was constantly told by Joey that they hadn't heard anything from corporate. I then contacted UPS Corporate, who told me that they had sent paperwork to store #0555 so they can fill out the claim along with any documentation showing the it items in the box. I then contacted Joey @ store #0555, they claimed to not have received any paperwork. So, again, I was left with zero answers. I called on multiple occasions afterwards, pressing the matter, of course eventually Joey@ store #0555 finally called me to tell me that I was only going to receive $100 for my package because I chose not to buy their insurance, and proceeded to tell me it was my fault for not purchasing the insurance. This allows me to question the integrity of UPS. First off, why was I not contacted directly by UPS corporate about the damage to the box? Why did I get a call from the store? Why did I not receive any pictures of the damage that was caused to box, after we requested it? How do I know the box was damaged if I didn't receive any proof? Why would the location who received the box not contact me, and why would they contact the store to call me, knowing they can't explain what happened to the box? There are a lot of unanswered questions, but the consumer is the one who gets screwed in the end because I'm the one who loses out on $9,673. This is all based on he said vs they said, and there is no proof that the box was damaged or that any of the medical supplies couldn't have been salvaged. Does this seem fair? To UPS, $9673 is nothing compared to a small business owner. I'm asking you, not as a company, but as a consumer, do you feel this is fair? To the owner of store #0555, Raj Amin, your employee Joey had a horrible attitude through the entire process, I didn't feel he did everything he can in his power to help me resolve the issue. He never called like he said he would, he didn't get me the pictures that we asked for. And to top it off, he called to tell me it's my fault for not purchasing the insurance. read more

Terrible customer service. Had the nerve to charge 2.00 for taping the flap closed on the box. CRAPPY! Will not return.

Why say your open when your not? This is happened twice before. Went in to ship something but only to find a sign on the door that says will be back at an odd time on the door. They need to close this place down and put something that's worthwhile. Never going back! read more

Web site says they're open until 5 P.M. on Saturday. Official UPS web site says the same. Yelp information says the same. I received my mail at this UPS Store location for 6 years. I don't have any complaints about that. I got my mail in a timely manner and they accepted packages just as I needed. I didn't even have an issue with the employees because I didn't need much from them aside from a safe place for my mail and someone to accept my packages. But when I moved to Northern California I needed to have my mail forwarded. You cannot use USPS mail forwarding when you have given an agent authority to accept your mail, as you do at a UPS Store. So gave them $40 to cover mailing with the understanding that they were to forward our mail on a weekly basis. Ha! I've been getting packages of mail from them on a monthly basis, not weekly. I've called and complained and it's done no good. Today was the kicker. Because they failed to forward my mail in a timely manner I missed a critical deadline with the IRS and it may well cost me thousands of dollars as a result. (In all fairness, the IRS has responsibility for this too because I gave them my new address which they've failed to use.) I called again and complained. They just don't get it. UPS Stores are franchises and as such I don't believe get any training from UPS. I'm so glad I avoided using a UPS Store now that I've moved. read more

Rude and unprofessional. Dropping off a DHL pacakge at 4 on friday. DHL website says cut off time is 4:15. He says it won't go out till monday i say the DHL website says 4:15 he replies " it won't go out till monday if you want you can take it back" . They are an example of POS business. DO NOT GO TO THIS UPS STORE! I went in to drop off a return to UPS. Pre-paid postage just needed to drop it off since its across the street from where I live!! The owner asked for a $1.00 after i used his shipping tape gun for TWO (2) STRIPS OF TAPE!!! TWO!!! He said he doesn't make any money from my drop off because the postage is paid already. He was so rude and uninterested in my package, I went as far as looking for the driver in the back of the building to make sure he took my package. I will be contacting UPS and Amazon. UPS to remove this store as a drop off location and Amazon to find another delivery service for returns. If tape is going to break you...you do not need to be in business!! read more

I'd prefer to give no star but I have to give one. BS that I came to this store because we had something very important that had to be shipped out today and the store closed over 20mins early with no sign posted nothing!!! We even called in advance and they said they were open til 7pm, sign on foot says 7pm and closed at 6:40pm! Joke! Good job UPS store employees. I had just come from the post office where it was gonna be $80 to ship a smaller little gift to England. I figured ups would be cheaper only to originally find out it would be double. But instead of just a price take it or leave it the two nice younger guys worked out what we could do and came up with a reasonable solution for me to send this gift. They were so caring and really went above and beyond to get this there. I've been here before and found the service lacking and sometimes rude but it appears they hired some better people and I really hope they're always there as they were so great. I went to this store today and asked the owner how much do they charge to print a copy, he told me $1.00, I even told the guy that other store dont charge that much, how come you are so pricey, he said oh that's our price and then I said since I m already here, let me just print few copies and out of here, I asked the guy if I can use computer, he said ok but let me do something and then you can use, it tells me that the guy in the store dont know how to use the computer and took his time and finally handed me the computer and I used for min or so and printed 3 copies and went to counter to pay and then the guy said oh your TOTAL would be $11, I said what, how come, and he said oh you made 3 copies and used computer for a very long period of time so this is what you have to pay, I said no I wont, that's so ridiculous and I said you keep these copies and I just got out of there. The owners are so unprofessional, both Husband and wife talking in Hindi langauge and scream at each other, like they are in home and arguing on something. Totally ridiculous service, I wont go back there, that's what I told the guy and I wont recommend at all this store to anyone. I wish If I can give Zero star to this UPS store. Since this placed fired the previous manager, the people working now are extremely helpful and friendly. Their customer service has exponentially grown! Kudos to the person who decided to fire the previous manager and put in new management who actually care about excellent customer service. The 2 young gentlemen helped me out with great care and courteous service. These guys rock! They were 2 young guys but I cannot remember their names. One wears glasses and the other one seemed like a new employee but, he greatly helped me with his service and it was truly appreciated. These guys deserve a huge promotion. If giving a store zero stars was possible I would! When sending a fax through this store just know that your confirmation page is meaningless! I sent 2 very important fax messages to 2 different agencies and neither agency received the fax. Even if I do have a confirmation page it is to much of a coincidence that 2 major corporations would not receive my fax. After speaking with the store manage he did not accept fault or provide me with a refund! Save your self some time from having to clean up their mess and please go to a different store. Do not be tempted by their offer to provide you with a discount as long as you give them a good yelp review, in the end you will lose. read more

I don't like the fact that I had a mailbox here for over a year and all of a sudden the owners of the store start asking me for a receipt and withholding my mail from me when I went to pickup my mail from my mailbox I hold there. Who keeps a receipt that long? I had to stand there for over an hour and tell them I wasn't going to leave the store until they gave me my package that they had in their possession. I hope to never return and hope that they can hire some more customer oriented clerks like there previously was a month ago. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars based on my last experience here. I came here over the weekend to make a black and white copy. I had been here before to the same location with a MUCH nicer employee then this a**whole who was working there the day I decided to come. First he jacked up the price than the last two times I have been here. I believe he quoted me for over $0.50 for one copy. I know it is such a small amount but this guy's attitude made it even worse. I said to him "really? I have come here before and it was less than half that. He decided to argue with me, giving me looks like I was crazy. Asking me who and then saying that a Mexican was the only other worker there? Um ok no need to go there dude. Then he told me to give HIM my document to copy and I'm like um no I am making the copy, not you. This isn't my first rodeo of making copies and I don't want his hands on my documents. As he opened the machine, I just didn't feel right about the whole thing and didn't feel like he deserved business. Told him, "you know what I don't feel right about this and your are being rude, I will go somewhere else". I didn't look at his face or hear what comment he muttered as I left. But I wouldn't be surprised if he flipped me the bird and cussed me out because he was literally that rude and disgusting. I WILL never be coming back and if I do, I will make sure it is the other guy that is working there than this dude because he was light years better than this jerk. Watch out for the dude who is going bald, with some grey hair and glasses. He will rip you off, charge you probably whatever he finds amusing and probably cuss you out. read more

On Saturday January 21, my son brought our mail in from box under bath while we were home. at 4:20 PM we returned home to find a bag of prescription medications valued at $300 that had been tossed in middle of driveway. I tried to send Email to US postal service, but was not able to do so. On Monday 01/23, I tried to call , but no one answered the phones. I finally drove to the main Anaheim office only to be told that I needed an appointment to see the Post master, & needed to report to the supervisor at the Sunkist station. I finally did reach the supervisor at the Sunkist station. There has been no follow up by the Post Master or the supervisor. Like most seniors, & most veterans, which my son is a disabled Veteran, we receive 97 % of our prescriptions through mail order pharmacies. one of my son's medications is not available locally & is would cost $1075 to replace. We take mail tampering very seriously. I am also missing a 1099 Social Security form a 1099 from my local bank. A Christmas Card was returned to College classmate through I have lived in my home for over 52 & 1/2 years. Other mail is missing. read more

The experience was today on June 15, 2015 at 3:10p.m. I have never gone on Yelp to complain but this time I had to take out my time to write a poor review on the customer service I received from the owner RAJ at UPS store. I came to the store at 3:10 and came there w/ an enlarged ups shipping label, size of 8.5X11. I wasn't aware of the size that it was printing. The owner RAJ told me the size was too big and I needed to make the shipping label smaller. I told him I didn't have a computer to print out because I was going home from work and dropped by to drop off a book purchase box for my school. Anyways, to make story short, I went to ralphs which was next door to buy tape because he said he would charge me $2.something to get it taped in bigggg shipping label like the one I had. I went and taped up the box and came back and he said it wasn't properly taped. I was already mad because I was in a rush to go home and cook and take my three kids to class. I went out to my car and taped the label again and this time took it in and he was still not satisfied with it. He asked me to tape it again. I went out to tape it again and this time was calling customer service and asked why my package wasn't being accepted when it was already taped. I came back taping it again and this time he still did not accept my package and prioritized other customers over me. When I came back, he still didn't accept my package and I had to admit, I made 5 trips to my car to get the package or the label taped properly. My point is this owner was being discriminated because I was Vietnamese and he kept on sending me back and forth and refused to take my package. Anyways, called customer relation and filed a complaint for discrimination. He was giving me a hard time for not having the label taped properly. A good customer service would have been done differently. Very dissatisfied w/ this place and will definitely not coming back. I would have gone to a different place USPS nearby if I didn't have a prepaid shipp9ing label. There was another lady who was there and was nice enough to tell me that she would help me out to tape it to perfection but I refused because I felt RAJ was discriminating just because I was ASian. I felt he thought i was stuck with my shipping label and wouldn't go anywhere except for his UPS store and decided to give me a hard time. He didn't end up accepting my package until 3:52p.m and decided to give me a tracking label just because there were so many customers standing in his store and he didn't want to make a scene. read more
