I have been using this UPS Store for years and was surprised by the low score. I have never had a problem, have always found them helpful, and appreciate the location/convenience. This location is in a strip mall behind Wawa and is in a small yet busy shopping center. There is parking right up front and 15-minute spots convenient if you have heavy packages to mail like I did. The interior is quite small but has the standard shipping and packing supplies. There was no line, so I was helped right away. The employee was friendly, prompt, and efficient. No issues and no nonsense. In and out quickly! I recommend this location. read more

Stopped to mail a return. No line. Young lady behind the desk told me she could not take it because it had a product label on the box. No smile no nothing. Just sorry can't help. Didn't know that was a rule but I get it. But she could have offered me a box to repack it. I mean I know they have boxes or at least help me disguise the small product label. Like I said no line so it wasn't going to disrupt anything. Went home patched over the produv label and took to another local UPS. read more

I went to the store today for a rather simple task but Jaylen was so helpful and communicative, he was great to talk with. Also, when I came into the store, I had a wait a few minutes as Jaylen was patiently helping an older gentleman that was asking a ton of questions and I was just so impressed by Jaylen's professionalism and helpfulness. We tried returning an Amazon package here and the man was not only rude to people, but also refused to accept our return because the code was not printed out. I ran in today to drop off some packages. The man behind the counter was not friendly nor helpful. I had some questions about the label on my second package and he would not help. We prepaid for a UPS label at home but weren't receiving the actual correct label. I tried to clarify the situation and I felt like he was yelling at me. I won't be back to this location. I just handed a package over to the employee working at the door (a little odd) because when I tried to enter the store the door was locked. The sign clearly read that the location is open until 5pm. The employee must have just locked the door because I could see him standing at the counter. I knocked and waited so he walked over took my package from my hands and shut and re-locked the door without a word. Here's to hoping my package makes it to its destination. read more

Nope. The motto of the UPS store is "Helping You Do Business"....this location did not get that memo. So I show up with 2 boxes to send back to corporate after a trade show. My company has kindly emailed me some pre-paid labels to use. Sounds simple, right? WRONG. Clerk: "No....we can't print your labels here. You have to print them at home." Me: "well, I'm not at home and have no ability to print these labels because I don't, in fact, carry around a printer in my laptop case" Clerk: "uhhhhhhhhh....." Me: "Are you telling me there's no printer in this store?" Clerk: "We can't print your labels, the uhhhh....computer isn't hooked up or something" Translation: "I do not know how to perform a simple fucking task" So, rather than spending 4 seconds printing my labels, I had to fill out an assload of paperwork, tell the clerk how to spell the words "brochures" and "signs" (serious!) and then watch his head explode when I told him the shipment was headed to the exotic land of....Canada. Which required MORE paperwork. I'm not sure how a turning a 1 minute task into a thirty minute dickaround is "Helping Me Do Business". This location sucks. read more

Dec 24 2021: I dropped off amazon returns to this store. these were scanned, no receipt. because UPS stores are so reliable where I live (I don't live in MD) and I was super busy on Christmas Eve, I left the store. Dec 28 2021 my account on Amazon says the items have not been received. i called this store and was told that there might be a delay with Amazon and I should check back in a couple of days. This is the most unprofessional UPS store I've ever encountered. I had to leave town for a week and as soon as I left I got a notification that a package was going to arrive at my house. I had it re-routed here, and then received an email on a Tuesday stating it had been delivered. UPS policies dictate that you have 7 calendar days to pick up a package once it has been dropped off. Two days later, I got a phone call from somebody that worked at this location yelling at me telling me I needed to pick up my packages today, otherwise they would be sent back. I got frustrated with them, and told him that's not what the policy says. The employee of the UPS store continue to yell at me and told me that they weren't going to keep my packages, and they were going to send them back today. I told him it wasn't possible for me to pick up the packages, since I was out of state. I continue to tell them that I wouldn't be able to pick them up until this weekend, and he told me they didn't have space and he'd have to talk to his manager about me not being able to get them until Monday, since I'd be home Sunday but they're closed then. So it wasn't even the business owner that decided to call and yell at me, but an employee of theirs. I told him to have his manager call me for his unprofessional behavior & hung up and called UPS directly, who basically said they can't do anything since this isn't a corporate store. When I called this location back to tell them I found a friend who will pick up for me instead, the manager picked up and told me I can pick them up this weekend. So, he wasn't even professional enough to call me back, or even apologize for his employees behavior. Worst UPS store EVER! Doesn't even deserve one star. I have called- they never answer. Have gone there to attempt to do many things, print - printer is not working and they refused to print something I sent them via email when other UPS FEDEX stores offer this service. Get something notarized - notary is not there until 5:30pm, if they decide to show up that day. They have the worst service and shouldn't even be open! They are the closest location to me, but always frustrating to go there, when you can't ever get anything accomplished. read more

These people hav had their printer broken for over two months. UPS is suppose to have specific services and the people running it don't even try to keep up services. I have been in there 4 times since we've moved here. I am happy with the customer serve I received. I had to send a bulky air mattress.. I didn't have a box for it .. I walked in with just the mattress he was very helpful with packing it up. I don't think the pricing was outrageous (i'm sure I could've gotten the box cheaper on my own but there is a price in the convenience of not having to run around looking for a box to fit the air mattress). The customer service was good, they're not warm and fuzzy but I'm not looking for warm and fuzzy just good customer service. read more

I just want to start by saying not only is this store TERRIBLE but the give UPS as a whole a bad name by being so bad. Would give negative stars if possible. You are NEVER greeted and always confronted with attitude. $2 for taping your box, $4.20 minimum to use a card.... This is some rediculous stuff. You always seem to be an inconvenience to them and DON'T DARE bring in a previous paid label or Amazon return. "We do not get paid for this.". Horrible horrible experience. I regularly send my son and family packages to Edmonton, Alberta Canada from the UPS store near my home in Millersville. Today I was at work , so decided to visit this location. The owner accepted my package . Asked my phone number .. which I provided ... as he entered my phone number it immediately pulled up my sons address. He then switched computers ... didn't say anything or ask me to step over. Then he printed my labels (which I saw) then he started fiddling adding more label paper. He then proceeds to print a few pages... tells me to sign ... I ask him insurance , he ignores me then asks for my payment. I hand him my debit card to process and HE BEGINS TO WRITE DOWN MY CARD NUMBER ON A SEPARATE PIECE OF PAPER. !!!! I asked him what was he doing... I don't want you wiring down my number ... that's unacceptable!' He proceeds to tell Me some nonsense about charging me for return of it is undeliverable... in which case it will be abandoned I told him again that has never been an issue ....I send they UPS regularly. It was all so ridiculous... I asked for my package back and grabbed the labels... told him I will go to my own local UPS.... he then refused to return my package. I threw his labels and paperwork back on the desk and left with my package. Awful. Awful. Awful. read more

Don't go to this location... I went in for the first time to ship a pre-paid box and the guy at the counter takes my package and starts walking away. I ask for a receipt, and he tells me I already have a tracking number. What am I, stupid? I tell him I want a receipt that says I dropped off the package - to prove I actually shipped the box from his store on this date/time. So he doesn't say anything, but rather pushes the box around to line up the barcode, impatiently grabs the scanner, tears the receipt off the printer and throws it on the counter-on the other side of the register from where I was standing. Of course he didn't hand it to me or even say anything-no thank you, nothing-and then immediately starts talking to his coworker. Nice way to scare off your customers!! read more

After attending a convention in Maryland, I headed to the beach for two days off. I stopped at this UPS Store in Annapolis to mail three boxes of materials back home. The Asian man who was there taped the boxes up, printed my labels, placed the boxes in the bin to be shipped out, and gave me my receipt. When I got home a week later, I discovered that someone there had repackaged one of the boxes and placed some of the items into a bigger box. But half my items were missing! For some reason, someone at this store took half the contents of my box out, put the other half into a bigger box, and evidently threw my personal items away! Unbelievable! The items they threw away were not valuable but were irreplaceable and had a lot of sentimental value to me--and professional value. They were books I had ghostwritten for people, and the authors signed them for me, expressing their gratitude for my help. They also tossed an expensive marble plaque one of the authors had created for me that depicted the book's cover. I called about it, and they said they would file a claim with the national UPS office. I called to check on the claim several times, and the Asian woman finally told me that the national UPS office denied the claim because the packaging was unacceptable, so UPS was not responsible for what happened to it! All three boxes were the same, and they repacked only one--why was that one unacceptable? And why didn't they tell me that while I was there? So I called the national office, and they said that if the people at the store taped up the box for me, it was their responsibility, and I should follow up with them. We all know these people will do nothing. These people are incompetent and should not be in business. read more

Dropped a package to return to Amazon during Covid so I kept my distance from the counter. Asked for a receipt and he said no receipt. Just heard from Amazon that they never received the return so now I'm being charged what they had refunded me. Who knows what they did with the package. This place gets one star because no stars isn't an option. I went to mail a letter because I needed a stamp. This is quite possibly the simplest task that can take place at UPS. The attendant who was helping 2 other customers simultaneously looked at me like I was crazy. I said the letter needed to be delivered within three days. He said he can't guarantee anything. I asked if I could overnight it. He said no. A kind lady in line told me it will arrive when I needed it to because it was just two counties over. I handed him the letter to mail. Whenever possible, I try to support local small businesses. I found this location and figured I would go there instead of Office Depot. Small businesses like this Franchise should strive to help customers in hopes of gaining them as a repeat customer. Instead, let me say this is possibly the worst customer service experience I've ever had. My experience was identical to one of the previous reviews. I guess I should've checked Yelp before visiting this location. I take my package there to return it to Amazon. I have the tracking number and the box is sealed. Clerk: Doesn't even greet me, grabs my box slams it down on the scale and says I cant help you. Me: Why? Clerk: You don't have a shipping label and walks away. Me: I say can we print one? Clerk: No, we can't print labels here, you have to print them at home Me: You're kidding right, you don't have a printer? Clerk: No. Me: I'm going to open the box and see if I just missed something. Do you have a knife to open the box? Clerk: Like I'm asking for his first born, unhappily opens the box for me. Me: The return slip inside states its a return label to Amazon. Clerk: We can't ship this it's for home pick-up, you need a return label. The label says return label clearly on the label with a tracking number. Me: I'm going to call Amazon and try to figure this out. Clerk: Walks away, mumbles Chinese to the other clerk. Clerk: Comes back and picks up my box and slams it down on another counter. Clerk: We are closed. Me: Thanks for the assistance. I continue on the line with Amazon and later learned that I had everything I needed to ship the box from the location. I left the store and went to another UPS Shipping location (Office Depot) and shipped the box within 5 minutes of entering the store. All they needed to do was provide a label along with the tracking number and it would have been authorized via Amazon but wait they don't have a printer..... I bet if I paid them money to ship it, they would suddenly had a way to print labels.. I've determined that as soon as the clerk heard me say this box was being returned to Amazon, he wanted nothing to do with me because I was not a profitable customer on top of the fact that I came in 30 minutes before their scheduled closing time. Without a doubt, one of UPS largest customer's is Amazon. The Amazon associate heard the whole conversation and could not believe the level of customer service and advised me while on the phone to go to a different location. I personally know a couple of great hardworking people that work for UPS and work their tails off to ensure packages are delivered safely and on-time and this association with UPS is an outrage to them. Franchisee "UPS Stores" like this location that treat their potential customers like myself will be the death of UPS, it's a shame. I will never return and would not recommend. read more

This place is horrible. No customer service, stood there for 5 minutes until the Asian guy finally came from the back.. Still no greeting. Tried to charge me $17.00 to PACKAGE a small box to send a phone back in, talk about nickel and diming you. Asian female in there isn't any better, tried to argue with me about a package I wanted to return to sender then told me she didn't want to take it. Although UPS Corporate advised me I can set it up with them on the phone then drop it off at that location, needless to say the package was dropped back off at my house. I swear she dropped it back off that night. Can't stand this place, makes me laugh when they get angry when I drop off a package with a prepaid label and they don't get anything from it. read more
