This is my go to UPS store. Everyone is friendly. Once in awhile you'll have to wait in line but its worth it.

Understand that the order was not from temu at all it was from a friend and it contained very expensive bags and items for that matter and no everyone told me the same thing it has been delayed yet nobody has even looked for it or try to find my package all they do is track I can do that much at home . I rarely need to stop at UPS but when I do I am not disappointed with their customer service. Some things to know: if your having notary step to the left it will take a while... If you are getting ready to ship a package get in line and go toward the end of the day- 10-12pm is not the time you will wait for a minute or two... (more like 15). If you are returning spectrum stay in line they will collect your items and give you a receipt. Hang on to the receipt it is the only proof you returned the items. Overall, the place is neat and clean in appearance. It is a busy spot so stay clear of the doorway deliveries are coming in and out. Cheers! read more

This ups store has always been pretty fast great service and they are nice even when the line has been out the door.

The manager or supervisor is absolutely the most rude person ever. We have a PO Box in our own area and cannot receive UPS deliveries so we are forced to have our items rerouted to this location. The other employees are kind and helpful. This manager or whatever she is, is so mean and rude. I made sure my husband's name was on the package instead of mine because she will not release an item to a spouse. The employee was nice and went to get the package. The supervisor looks at my husband's name tag and asks who he is. He says his name and she asked why his name tag is different. His name tag is his nickname. He showed his ID containing legal name which is on the package. This should have been enough. No, she asks what his address is. He then asks which? Home or mailing. Absolutely ridiculous. She is very rude and unprofessional. **Response to comment from Dee** My husband's name was on the package and his ID. I was sending dolls to kids knowing they would get them the day after Christmas. USPS came to the door a day later and left a note USPS will be back the next day which never happened . I had gone in to see why they were not delivered. The store manager put them on hold to be sent back. That is not what I wanted 87dollars to have them shipped back. I wanted the girls to get the dolls. But the manager gave us a different address to pick up the package that they were never at . The packages were returned 11th of January. They requested me to pay again. They did not meet the service to begin with. After another month of trying to get my money back (which I never got back ) I sent them fed ex which was 25 dollars cheaper to begin with and the dolls were delivered on time but girls got there Christmas gift in March. I will never use ups that store ever again. I have told friends and family not to go to ups. I had sent in many requests to ups and the store in which failed on any return of the 87 dollars spent to send the package and many hours and gas trying to resolve the problem. Shame on that store to have the package returned when it could have been picked up if the manager gave the correct information. I was at the store everyday and also online to find the location in which it was never posted because the manager had put a hold to return the package. There has been 3 occasion that my mail was NOT returned to Amazon, despite being scanned and receipt given. However since I don't keep my receipts that long, I'm screw with not being able to show proof. How do I know? Amazon would charge me as an "item not returned". For one, their equipment is out of order Two, their door is out of order. Everytime I'm here they are yelling at customers to adjust THEIR door for THEM WITHOUT A FOLLOW UP THANK YOU. Worst of all, you have to wait in line 15 minutes even if you have a package with a label. With labeled pack in arm you sit and watch as people decide on which box they want and what kind of shipping they want. Ridiculous I would not go here if there was another option. For this reason I'm switching back to ebay, which has easier returns. Good bye Amazon. I've never had an eBay return item lost. Several times my Amazon return has not been returned. Amazon knows that it was dropped off but they haven't received it. Who is stealing return items??? I agree with other posters here that we need to take our business elsewhere so that that mean woman is fired or her business fails. Then we can get a new manager/owner and have a better shipper. Don't steal what I dropped off today. I already have a receipt from the recipient. Oh, that's right, you only steal those items which are not individually packaged. 8/16/25 12:10 pm. Alexis is very rude! Talks about customers when they walk out unhappy. The the first experience I brought in a telescope tripod asked them to box it up and I would pay for it. Of course it was a return. Alexis says well clearly we don't have a box to fit that really rude. They didn't even try so I had to take it down to the store on Bear Valley Road and they quickly helped me no questions asked and yes, I paid today. I went in with a large box already ready to ship and I told her I have a label to print and she told me I had to email her at the store I would pay $4.50 for the label. I said I've never had to do that before I come here all the time she rolled her eyes at me she decided to scan my phone, which I had the code on, which is what I always do and then I let her know that I wasn't happy with her attitude. Every time I come in, so I will never be at the store again, even though I only live a mile away I will go to the Bear Valley store where they actually help you. This is not the first time the second time this has happened. This is the third time and I'm really tired of going to a place giving them their money and being treated like I'm a Karen so don't go in there expecting them to want to work. read more

I live near the area and this UPS store is 10 minutes away from My Home. Every time that I enter the store, I'm always greeted by an employee. One employee that stands out the most. Her name is Brenda. Brenda is always nice and professional to her staff members and customers that come into the store. She has a lot of patience and does not get frustrated easily as I've seen other UPS workers have in the past. She is a seasoned professional and makes the store a welcoming environment. Every time I go into the store I've see Brenda make other customers feel the same way. Whenever I need to process my Amazon returns or shipping or printing needs. UPS is a great store to get everything done in one shot. They offer, great values for customers that provide all our needs in one location. It can get busy at times. However, if you go early enough in the day, you'll be able to be any rushes. read more

When I told him I wanted to speak to a manager about him ignoring us while texting, he told me a couple times, "I don't care!" There are many other options for shipping and mail needs instead of this storefront and I assure you I will not return to this store for any type of transaction! Save yourself from wasting your valuable time WAITING in line for Armando to finish his texting and avoid this storefront. The reason this place sucks is not the because of the service that UPS Stores offer, it was the CUSTOMER SERVICE. The staff is so unprofessional in this regard. Just because they are a UPS store not UPS hub they are no help at all in damage claim. Their claim form will not accept a claim because I shipped using Ebay label even though clearly on Ebay it shows $100 UPS protection so I call this manager of the Apple Valley store at first rude hangs up then I call back then he says he will help me then days later he gives me bad treatment and ignores my calls when he said he would investigate and get back. I get rude lady on phone who could care less says he won't talk to me so I am out $100. Don't use UPS their stores don't care about the customers at all we are nothing to them and this is obvious. UPS says I need a UPS account number on their claim form but says I have to get it from Ebay they won't help Ebay says its UPS and they refused to give me it either beware Ebay says they get alot of this from these shippers. read more

I'll make this brief - this location is run by rude individuals who give you an attitude when you call them and ask a simple question. And even in person, they will treat you as if you are asking the world of them. When you call them they will quickly provide you the corporate 1800 number and tell you that they don't answer any questions because the "are a franchise". This place is very similar to other low life franchises in this forsaken hole of the Mojave dump - they have a monopoly and know it. Ft. Irwin is an awful 56 miles away from this place. So expect to have your mail lost, stolen, or damaged by these incompetent robber barrons who NEVER deliver it on time. The location issue would be doable, but having a bad attitude with your customers is what gives this business a NEGATIVE 5 stars. Some of these negative reviews are for THE WRONG UPS STORE. There are TWO in Apple Valley. Some of the unhappy and angry reviews, especially the ones mentioning Misty, are CLEARLY intended for the store on Apple Valley Road. THIS store, managed by Dawn and her excellent team, is on Highway 18. I am not affiliated with either store. but I was a box-holder at Misty's store until several of my packages were **allegedly** signed for by theives with no I.D. and then I was told, by the manager, that I had signed for them. That was five years ago and I've been with the HWY 18 store ever since ... where I have NEVER had a problem. The service at the HWY 18 store is consistently friendly and professional. The place is kept very clean and well-stocked. Your packages are safe with this crew. I'm an online seller who has shipped nearly 1,000 boxes there and have had ZERO ISSUES. Same goes for my mail and shipments via UPS, USPS, FedEX, etc. Absolute 100 percent efficiency. If you're looking for excellent support services for all of your mail and shipping, this store--THIS one, on HWY 18, not that crappy one across town--is where you want to go. read more

I decided to come to the store to have my artwork packaged and shipped since I needed it sent fast and didnt have time to package it myself. First time using them for this. The girl at the counter cut cardboard to place on both sides and she bubble wrapped it before placing it in the shipping bag. When she showed me the bag it felt hard and she also placed a Fragile label on it. Unfortunately this is how my customer received, she sent me pictures. I did not realize that the cardboard had any creases on it but that creased all down the center of the drawing. Their customer service was great and they were vey nice. But sadly I lost my commission on this art work. Will go back to packaging my own work. read more

My autistic son has been looking forward to this. It is so nice to see him happy. Ups lost our passport paperwork, and won't do anything for 8 business days. We will have missed our trip by then. If you have anything important to ship, I explore you, use ANY other company. Not only are they one of the most expensive, but they are apparently inexperienced in handling important documents that are overnighted. The store was great use them for purchasing supplies. Do not, I repeat, Do Not go here to get your passport photos. We got our passport photos done and we sent everything out certified mail in early June 2022. Within a couple of weeks it was sent back with letters stating the photos were not acceptable (they did not state why in the letter). We went back on 7/19/2022 and the same person who help us the first time was there ( I do believe the manager) asked if we wanted a refund (he knew we did not have the receipt). We said no let try it again, giving them a chance to rectify the problem. We sent everything out again certified and within a couple of weeks the pictures were rejected again without an explanation (which we found out it was because they rejected them for more than 2 reasons). We went back to the store on Saturday 8/22/2022 and asked for a refund, the girl behind the counter ( I do believe her name is Skyler) asked if we had a receipt, and we did not (the original receipt would have been early June, 2022 and we had already gotten rid of it and the manager knew this when we saw him the second time!). She tried to call the manager and when she didn't get ahold of him asked for my number for him to call me on Monday 8/22/2022. NO ONE CALLED ME! On Sunday 8/21/2022 we went to Walgreens and got our pictures taken. I recommend them if you need passport pictures they have a special program that makes sure they will be approved. We went back to the Apple Valley store again on 8/22/2022, at 4:00 and the girl behind the counter (again I believe her name is Skyler) forgot to tell the manager about our predicament and for him to call me. She left us and went to the back to called him to find out if she could give us our money back without a receipt (even though he was willing to do so the second time we saw him). She came back and said she could give us a store credit for $30.00 (which is a business card with a written $30.00 credit, nothing really official) We asked for stamps to mail our passports. She informed us that we could not use our $30.00 credit for stamps (they are a store that specializes in mailings and stamps!!) We gave this store the opportunity to fix the problem and instead they have given us the run around for $30.00. Just imagine if you ran into a problem? I would guess you would get the run around as well! UPDATE TO MANAGER's REPLY: Regarding the original receipt when you asked if we wanted a refund, we did not have it at that time either!
